I previously requested validation of this alleged debt, but the company failed to provide any supporting documentation. In their response to my complaint, they admitted that they are still requesting an itemized bill, which confirms that they do not currently have the necessary records to verify the debt. Despite this, the company has attempted to collect an amount that has not been verified and may be inaccurate. This is misleading and constitutes a false representation of the debt. Reporting or attempting to collect a debt without proper documentation is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ). Additionally, this reflects an incomplete and unreasonable investigation under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), as no account should be reported or pursued without proper verification. Placing the account in a disputed status does not resolve the issue.…

A collection account is being reported on my credit file by Ability Recovery Service that I do not recognize and did not open. The original creditor listed is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, however I have no knowledge of this account, no contract with the company, and did not authorize this debt. I previously disputed this account with the credit reporting agencies, but it was not permanently resolved and has reappeared under a different collection agency. I am requesting that the company provide full validation of this debt, including documentation showing proof of responsibility and a complete chain of ownership of the account. If the debt can not be fully verified as mine, I am requesting that it be permanently removed from my credit reports in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

I am filing a complaint against several debt collection agencies for what appears to be ongoing violations of federal consumer protection laws. After formally disputing the alleged debts and requesting proper validation, the companies did not provide sufficient proof that I am legally responsible for these accounts. They failed to produce key documents such as original agreements, ownership records, account histories, or evidence of their authority to collect. Despite this, collection efforts and credit reporting activity may have continued without proper verification. This raises concerns about potential violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, including failure to validate debts and use of misleading or unfair practices, as well as the Fair Credit Reporting Act, particularly regarding the accuracy and investigation of reported information.…

I am submitting this complaint regarding improper debt collection and inaccurate credit reporting by Ability Recovery Services , LLC concerning an alleged debt of {$2300.00}. I enrolled with XXXX XXXX College on XX/XX/year>, and provided notice of my cancellation on XX/XX/year>, with an email response dated XX/XX/year>, in accordance with the terms of the enrollment agreement. I did not complete any classes during this period. Under the contracts refund and cancellation provisions, any balance owed should be limited to the amount permitted by those provisions.
