I am submitting this complaint regarding a credit card account ending in XXXX, for which I am being held responsible for charges that I did not authorize. This is a case of fraud. I have repeatedly contacted the financial institution to report these unauthorized transactions, both by phone and in writing. Despite my continuous efforts, the company has failed to conduct a proper investigation and has not provided any valid evidence to support their claim that these charges are legitimate. I have clearly stated multiple times that : - I did not authorize these transactions- I do not recognize this debt - I have filed a police report regarding this fraud- I refuse to pay any fraudulent charges Additionally, the institution has continued to attempt collection and has allowed the account to go overlimit, adding fees and negatively impacting my financial standing.

On XX/XX/XXXX paid off the balance of {$380.00} that brought my balance to zero balance. Was surprised when i received my XX/XX/XXXX statement that stated my balance was {$4.00} for interest charged. I did not make any transaction on my account in XX/XX/2025 in-fact last transaction on my account was made on XX/XX/2025, no transaction made in XXXX and XXXX even till today as am filing this complaint. No transaction made for almost XXXX months, and balance paid off 15days prior to next statement that generates on XXXX. How can Avant generate interest from XXXX balance paid off 15days before closing cycle of the next billing. I tried to understand and got no explanation how {$4.00} was generated from which balance. I want to charge of total {$8.00} balance was told late fee was added to be removed from my account.

They originally was handling and conducting their investigation, back in XXXX i reached out to them seeing where we were during the investigation they had no information to give me and keep transferring XXXX between customer service and fraud department. Well XX/XX/XXXX i received and email stating that im responsible for the charges when i have time stamps proving my location where abouts ( at work XXXX XXXX XXXX ) during the time of the transaction concurred which is located hours away. I tried contacting them about the situation again and no one can help me and supervisor are not available .. it was charges made on a XXXX XXXX and i dont even own XXXX XXXX.

Subject : Formal Complaint Improper Annual Fee and Failure to Close Account ( Avant Credit Card ) I am submitting a formal complaint regarding improper billing practices involving my Avant credit card account. Prior to the assessment of a {$75.00} annual fee, I contacted Avant and clearly requested that my credit card account be closed. Despite my request, the account was not closed and the company subsequently assessed a {$75.00} annual fee. Charging an annual fee after a consumer has requested that the account be closed is improper and constitutes a billing error. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act ( 15 U.S.C. 1666 ), consumers have the right to dispute billing errors, including charges that were improperly assessed. In this case, the account should have been closed at the time of my request and the annual fee should never have been charged. I attempted to resolve this matter directly with Avant, but the issue has not been corrected.

The entire account balance was paid in full to Avant in XX/XX/XXXX. I paid the remaining balance of {$200.00}. The account was paid, and left with an ending balance of {$0.00}. Two months later without my knowledge, Avant began to add monthly fees to the account accruing {$9.00} a month. The original contract that I agreed, had no monthly maintenance fees and I was not provided any notice about changes made to my contract. I contacted Avant in XX/XX/XXXX regarding the monthly fees and was advised the agreement was changed back in XX/XX/XXXX. So I decided to close the account back in XX/XX/XXXX, same day I became aware of the hidden fees, to avoid being charged additional hidden fees. Since then, Avant has continued to add monthly fees even though the account was closed back in XX/XX/XXXX and now there's a balance of {$27.00} being reported as late to the credit bureaus. My credit score has significantly decreased because of the inaccurate reporting.

Opened an AVANT card last year. Someone else was using it in a different state. Called the fraud department submitted a case. Received new card and never heard from them again. Now called AVANT again to see progress since nobody called- stayed on hold for XXXX minutes and a Lady with a heavy accent answered the call asked me my for my numbers I asked her whats your name couldnt understand her or who she was. The asked me for my credit card number and I said I dont have my full number and she hung up on me. Called AVANT again to tell them what happened they put in their notes what had happened Im trying to still get this resolved. They give me the number to the fraud department. I call the fraud department again Im on hold for XXXX minutes and the girl said the claim number I gave them does not support the fraud claim I am trying to get resolved and to call the receptionist back.

I am filing this formal complaint regarding Avants unacceptable handling of my account, the hold placed on my funds, and your repeated failure to allow me to speak with a supervisor. I contacted Avant because I have an emergent financial situation and needed assistance with funds being held on my account. The money has already cleared my bank account, yet Avant continues to withhold access to those funds. I have not been given a satisfactory explanation for why my money is still being held after it has already cleared my financial institution. This has caused unnecessary hardship, stress, and inconvenience. I have also called multiple times requesting to speak with a supervisor and have been denied each time. Most recently, I called again today and was told by XXXX that no supervisor was available, yet again. This repeated refusal to provide escalation is unacceptable. A financial company should not hold a consumers funds while also blocking access to management.

This account is also currently the subject of a lawsuit filed against me. Despite this, I have not been provided proper validation of the debt, including documentation showing the full chain of assignment from Avant LLC to XXXX XXXX XXXX, the original signed loan agreement, or a complete and accurate payment history supporting the balance claimed. The XXXX supervisor told me my request was not possible and I should make XXXX payments each month to avoid late fees. My Avant credit card was stolen and fraudulent transactions occurred on the account. Avant investigated the fraud and confirmed the charges were fraudulent, crediting {$190.00} back to the account. However, while the fraud investigation was ongoing, late fees totaling {$91.00} were added to my account. These fees are directly related to the fraud incident and the time it took to resolve the dispute. Avant is refusing to waive these fees even though the account was compromised due to theft and fraud. I believe it is unfair and unreasonable to charge late fees related to an account that was under fraud investigation. I am requesting that Avant remove the {$91.00} in late fees and correct any negative credit reporting associated with this matter.

I am filing a complaint against Avant , LLC for unauthorized withdrawals and poor record-keeping practices. On XX/XX/year>, I contacted Avant ( via phone call ) to resolve a duplicate charge of XXXX, request a refund, and revoke auto-pay for my bank account. While Avant sent an email confirming the auto-pay cancellation, they completely failed to provide any documentation, email, or app update regarding the status of my refund request. > The refund briefly appeared in my account on XX/XX/year>. However, today, XX/XX/year>, Avant processed another unauthorized withdrawal for the same amount, completely ignoring the written auto-pay revocation they previously confirmed. This unauthorized transaction caused my bank account to overdraft in the amount of {$36.00}. Avant 's failure to properly document my refund request and their blatant disregard for a confirmed auto-pay cancellation has caused me direct financial harm.

The company also failed to provide a formal receipt and satisfaction/termination letter confirming that no further balance is owed. After receiving full payment and documentation, Avant continued to report inaccurate and misleading information to consumer reporting agencies, including reporting late payments and negative account history that are no longer accurate. I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve this matter directly with Avant by requesting proper documentation, account closure, and correction of inaccurate reporting. These requests were ignored, delayed, or inadequately addressed.

I made loan payment just to confirm that Loan is legit and Bank account on file is correct. The loan payment was credited to loan account with no issues confirming the company has loan under my name with correct Bank account. I have been calling and Emailing Avant Customer support and provide all Bank statement requested to prove no funds were received and all I get as respond is Escalated.

On Sunday, XX/XX/scrub> 2026, I tried to use the Avant card to make an online purchase. I could not do so, again with " unauthorized '' as the reason. On XXXX XX/XX/scrub>, 2026, I contacted Avant customer service XXXX to resolve this matter. I was told that I needed a " termination letter '' to remove the " unauthorized '' designation from my account. I asked for more information, butthe customer service did not provide a clear explanation. I was told to get a termination letter from the XXXX to remove the hold. I did not know what a XXXX was, and was told it was a debt management company. I have never contacted or engaged a debt management company. I asked for more information ; customer service had little information other than " XXXX XXXX XXXX '' and an email address of " XXXXXXXX XXXX.

on XX/XX/XXXX while in the hospital following an auto accident i kept getting messages on my cell phone but couldn't get to them while in the XXXX the next day once back home from hospital i read my messages i had gotten several alerts from various credit card companies asking if i had used my cards in California to make any purchase i replied no and i also called in to the companies on the next business day XX/XX/XXXX and Disputed the charges on my cards i was also advised to check all my other credit cards at that point i noticed that several cards had been used on XX/XX/XXXX while i was in the hospital i did not received any alerts from Avant credit at all but i called them and told them about the fraud alerts that i had received from other credit card and that my Avant card had some Fraud charges on it as well so they took the report.

I am filing this complaint because AvantXXXX is reporting late payments on my credit reports that are the result of inaccurate instructions provided by their own representative, not from any failure on my part to pay. Avant placed me on a payment plan to close my account with reduced monthly payments. The representative explained how I should submit my payments under this plan, and I followed those instructions exactly. I later learned that the instructions given to me were completely wrong. Because I followed the incorrect process they told me to use, my payments were not applied correctly, and Avant began reporting late payments to the credit bureaus. These late payments are a direct result of Avants employee providing me with misinformation. I acted in good faith and complied fully with the directions I was given.

Avant has got to be the worst company I've ever dealt with. Customer service is abhorrent and the practices and procedures they stipulate for their agents are ridiculous and impact us as a consumer. On XX/XX/31, I spoke with a customer agent about my concern with making payments. At this time the agent got me on a payment plan which would reduce my payment amount for XXXX months. There was a full payment due in 3 days from the call, which agent was clear would not go through due to the payment agreement we had entered and she would turn off auto pay. On monday XXXX I got an alert from my bank about being negative. I check and low and behold a full payment was taken out, which I was expressly told wuld not happen. This caused other payments aready scheduled to be returned, and took the little money I had for food for the week. I called in on Monday XXXX. I spoke with an agent who provided the generic script that the autopayment cojldnt of been cancelled and all eas fine and dandy.

I opened a credit card with Avant but never received statements electronically or otherwise. I have documented at least a dozen times in the last XXXX or XXXX months to inform them that their app was not working and I can't get my information. Multiple times, I requested access to my account information and only once, I was allowed to do so, but only after setting up a new password which is not sustainable. I began paying blindly over the phone. Each time I called them, I told them that I couldn't access my account information. Tonight, I tried again. Even after multiple attempts to ask for a manager, it never happened. I had to listen to my phone call being put on speaker phone with a group of girls giggling in the background while they listened in. I have made many efforts to try to work this out with total frustration and lots of disrespect. I requested an audit of my account as I am sure they are charging me right and left without my knowledge with all kinds of punitive charges.
