I am filing a complaint regarding a billing error and improper fees on my XXXX credit card account. On XX/XX/year> I was charged {$420.00} at XXXX XXXX # XXXX ( XXXX, VA ). I returned the same item on XX/XX/year> but was only credited {$420.00}, leaving a {$6.00} balance. I was not aware of this balance, and it has since grown to {$71.00} due to late fees and interest. I have contacted Comenity Capital Bank multiple times, but they refused to resolve the issue and redirected me to the merchant. I also received a voicemail referencing potential attorney action despite this being a disputed billing error. I am requesting correction of the {$6.00}, reversal of all related fees, and confirmation my account will not be negatively reported.

I am filing a formal complaint regarding a fraudulent charge of {$3100.00} on my medical credit card account. The charge was initiated by XXXX XXXX XXXX for an upcoming oral XXXX. However, the clinic officially canceled my procedure in writing, stating their doctor was " un-equipped '' to perform it. Absolutely ZERO services were rendered to me. Despite canceling the procedure, the clinic initially kept the charge on the account. When I visited the clinic in person to resolve this, the receptionist was incredibly rude and refused to help, falsely claiming that signing the initial paperwork obligated me to pay. However, after I stated that I would take legal action, she finally checked the system and claimed that the funds were actually returned to the bank on XX/XX/year>. She provided me with a printout confirming this refund, which I am attaching to this complaint.

I contacted the company multiple times to request the full and accurate payoff amount for my credit card account. I also have records of conversations with a supervisor who specifically stated that a payment of {$89.00} would pay my account off in full. I am filing a formal complaint against Comenity Bank regarding inaccurate and unverified information being reported on my credit file. I have previously disputed this account directly with the company, requesting proper validation of the alleged debt, including a signed original contract and full account-level documentation. Instead of providing legally sufficient verification, Comenity has only supplied billing statements and summary information, which do not meet the standard of proof required under federal law. Billing statements are not proof of a valid, enforceable debt, nor do they demonstrate that I am legally obligated for the account. Despite this, Comenity continues to report this account to the credit bureaus, which is causing harm to my credit profile. This is a violation of my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), as inaccurate and unverified information must not be reported.

I am submitting a complaint regarding the payment allocation practices on my credit card account with Comenity Capital Bank involving deferred interest promotional financing. I currently have XXXX deferred interest plans on my account. XXXX of these plans ( Plan XXXX ) is set to expire on XX/XX/year>. I have been consistently making payments above the minimum amount due with the intention of paying off the balance associated with the earliest expiring promotional plan in order to avoid deferred interest charges. Instead, payments have been distributed across multiple balances according to internal rules that were not clearly explained to me at the time of account opening or during use of the card.

On XX/XX/year>, I requested a credit limit increase for my XXXX credit card via my online account managed by Comenity Capital Bank. The online disclosure stated that the bank " may '' need to access my credit report. This wording is ambiguous and fails to provide " clear and conspicuous '' notice that a hard inquiry ( which negatively impacts credit scores ) would be performed. I was never presented with a mandatory warning or a secondary confirmation screen stating that a hard pull was certain. I was notified of my approval via email on XX/XX/XXXX, but the bank never disclosed that they had hit my credit file. I only discovered the hard inquiry through a third-party monitoring service. On XX/XX/year>, I contacted Comenity customer service to dispute this.

Complaint Explanation I am submitting this complaint regarding interest charges applied to my account following what I believe to be an unfair and inadequately disclosed payment processing practice related to a promotional balance. At the end of my promotional period, I made a good faith effort to pay the remaining balance in full. At that time, approximately {$370.00} remained. I had an automatic payment of {$250.00} already scheduled and submitted an additional payment of {$120.00} to satisfy the remaining balance. However, instead of applying the {$120.00} as an additional payment toward the outstanding balance, the issuer reduced my previously scheduled automatic payment. This resulted in a small remaining balance at the end of the promotional period, which then triggered approximately {$3000.00} in interest charges. At no point was it clearly disclosed that submitting an additional payment would reduce a scheduled automatic payment.

am submitting this complaint regarding my XXXX XXXX account issued by Comenity Bank. I financed a dental procedure for approximately {$3000.00} under a promotional financing plan. I made consistent, good faith payments and reduced the balance to approximately {$1500.00} prior to the promotional expiration date of XX/XX/year>. I was not clearly informed or did not fully understand that if the balance was not paid in full by the expiration date, interest would be applied retroactively from the original purchase date. After the promotion ended, my balance increased significantly to approximately {$3400.00} due to these retroactive interest charges. I have made every effort to responsibly pay down this account and was actively working toward paying it off. I contacted Comenity Bank to request a courtesy adjustment or settlement, and I explained that I am willing and able to pay the remaining {$1500.00} balance immediately if the excessive interest charges are reduced or removed.

I opened a Comenity Bank credit card to finance dental work. Without prior notice or clear explanation, Comenity charged {$710.00} in interest to my account in a single charge. This amount appeared suddenly with no warning. Since that charge, Comenity has continued to add additional interest charges every single month, causing my balance to grow continuously beyond what I originally borrowed, and those monthly charges are still occurring as of today. Over the past two months, I have made multiple attempts to contact Comenity to dispute these charges and get an explanation of how they were calculated. During one attempt, I was transferred to a manager and placed on hold, after which the call was disconnected. I was never called back. Despite two months of attempts, Comenity has refused to provide any explanation of the {$710.00} charge, how it was calculated, or why interest continues to accrue every month.
