XX/XX/XXXX spoke to XXXX at Discover regarding what was needed to transfer my IRA to another bank. I got all of the paperwork needed and went to XXXX XXXX to open an IRA account so Discover could transfer the funds. Discover had XXXX send the check to a PO box but it never got there. XXXX refused to do a wire +/ account transfer. I gave up and had Discover send it to XXXX. Low and behold, I needed more paperwork. XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX,...... I kept getting told by Discover to send, resend, didn't get. Then, low and behold Discover sent a check to Discover - written for XXXX. They denied ever getting approval to send it but sent it anyway. XXXX and I resent the transfer request. XXXX " we got it and everything looks good, the transfer will be in XXXX business days ''. XX/XX/XXXX " We don't have your paperwork, you need to send it again. '' It's been 3 months. I am not getting interest while Discover is.…

To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting this complaint to request assistance regarding Discover Cards handling of a fraud dispute involving unauthorized transactions on my credit card account. Despite reporting the fraud promptly and providing supporting documentation, Discover has repeatedly closed the claim without adequately investigating the matter or resolving the unauthorized charges. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act ( 15 U.S.C. 1666 ) and Regulation Z, consumers are protected from liability for unauthorized credit card transactions and creditors are required to conduct a reasonable investigation when a billing error or fraud claim is reported. In my case, Discover failed to conduct a proper investigation and instead placed the burden on me to obtain information from the merchant.…
I am submitting this complaint regarding Discover Banks failure to properly post or return a deposit that belongs to me. On or about XX/XX/year>, XXXX transfers, both in the amount of {$5100.00} were sent from my Discover Bank accounts to my XXXX XXXX account. Discover confirmed that the transfer was successfully completed and that the funds were delivered. However, during the time XXXX received the funds, XXXX closed my account. Under these circumstances, the funds should have been returned to Discover. Discover initially issued a provisional credit to my account, acknowledging the expected return of the funds, but that credit was later reversed. Requested trace identification numbers from XXXX have been provided. Since that time, the funds have not been restored to my account, and their current status has not been clearly explained. Despite contacting Discover to resolve this matter, the issue remains unresolved and the {$5100.00} deposits remain missing.…

I am reporting an issue with my bank account at Discover Bank regarding a deposit and transaction history that does not make sense. I received a deposit that shows it was made at XXXX AM, but my bank is reflecting a different time ( around XXXX PM ). Additionally, even though the deposit appeared in my account, the funds were not available for me to use. I have been using money transferred from my savings account to cover my expenses, which is reflected in my transaction history. This indicates I did not actually receive or use the deposited funds. Despite this, the bank is claiming that I spent the deposit amount. This is incorrect. The funds were not available to me, and the timing discrepancies raise concerns about how my account activity was processed or recorded.
This has been by far the worst furniture purchasing experience Ive ever had. I ordered a bedroom set ( paid over {$3000.00} ) in XX/XX/scrub> 2025, but the order arrived partially and with missing items. The pieces that did arrive had scratches and dents, and during delivery the delivery crew scratched my floors. Unfortunately, I noticed the damage only after they left ( and after I had tipped them ). What followed was months of frustration. After waiting over a month for replacements, the next shipment arrived damaged again and with the wrong item. Another long wait followed, and the order was still incomplete the nightstand was missing. Eventually the nightstand arrived completely damaged, so we sent it back. The company assured us a replacement would arrive within a couple of weeks, but after waiting another month nothing happened.…
I am submitting this complaint regarding the reporting of late payments on my Discover credit card account. During the time the account became past due, I was not properly aware that payments were due and did not receive clear notification of the delinquency status. As a result, the account fell behind without my full awareness. Since then, I have taken full responsibility and resolved the account, which is now settled with a XXXX balance. I have also contacted Discover directly in an effort to address this issue, but was advised no adjustments could be made. I am currently working to improve my financial standing and maintain positive credit behavior. Given that the account has been resolved and my efforts to remain in good standing, I respectfully request a review of the accuracy and fairness of the reported late payments and consideration for their removal or adjustment. I would appreciate a thorough review of this matter.
XX/XX/XXXX Discover credit card approved through a student referral while I was a full-time student. XX/XX/XXXX- XX/XX/XXXX I traveled to XXXX for winter break. While abroad, I opened the Discover app to make my monthly payment and discovered that my account had been closed without any prior phone call, email, or document explaining the reason. After the account closure, many app features were restricted, and even making a payment required pressing the payment option multiple times to initiate and confirm the transaction. XX/XX/XXXX I returned to the XXXX and contacted Discover ; I was told the account was closed due to insufficient information. XXXX XXXX I repeatedly tried to resolve the issue, thinking there might be an error related to my SSN, but I received no clear assistance from Discover. XX/XX/XXXX Due to app issues and payment processing confusion, a payment I believed had been made was recorded as a late payment.…
Late XXXX I called about a supposed late payment made, I have been on a credit recovery plan through XXXX XXXX and payment to the closed discover account has been paid on or about the 25th of every month. The Discover Bill date either changed or they have not been reporting late payments prior to XXXX of this past year. The Bill due date is 6 of each month causing the payment made on the XXXX of the month to always appear late for credit reporting purposes. In XXXX I made a payment to bring account current and was told that moving forward the payments from the credit recovery plan made on the XXXX would keep the account current and the due date would be changed to reflect this and stop negative reporting to the Credit Bureaus for Late Payments. I have now had to call three times and asked to speak to a supervisor twice with no success and no resolution.…
I have been atempting to access my Discover acocount for almost XXXX months now. These people have cancelled my card, never sent a new one. I finally figures it out myself, withou any help from them, that they cancelled my card, so I asked them to send me a new card. I ahve recieved the new card, but am still unable to login to their system. It is concerning, especialy considering I have spent hours attempting to resolve this issue. I also wanted to ensure no payment was due, and was told my balance is XXXX due. I have no way to confirm this information, since there is no visibility when I login to my Dioscover account. I have spent an ample amount of time to resolve this, with no success. Today marks the twelvth time I have attempted to login and establish a connection with overvies and accouint summary, with no success. The issue is with the Discover system, technical difficuklties, buut these people seem to be terrible at resolving these sort of issues.…
I am re-filing this complaint because Discover Bank is engaging in deceptive reporting to the CFPB ( Follow-up to closed XXXX # XXXX ). On XX/XX/year>, Discover reported to the CFPB that a " final response '' was provided. However, the physical letter I received ( dated XX/XX/year> ) is a generic referral notice that contains NO substantive information. It completely ignores my demand for debt validation regarding the {$18000.00} balance. The bank intentionally misled the CFPB by claiming the issue was addressed while failing to provide the mandatory mathematical breakdown ( principal, interest, and fees ) required under 15 U.S.C. 1692g. This is a bad-faith stalling tactic to avoid transparency. Furthermore, while the court granted my petition for installment payments on XX/XX/year>, the bank 's refusal to provide an accurate breakdown of the balance prevents me from verifying the amount I am required to pay.…
In XXXX of XXXX, I had a XXXX emergency and ended up in the XXXX for XXXX XXXX. I contacted Discover Card from my XXXX bed to see if they could assist me with my payments. They gave me an option for XXXX months that helped me to keep my payments a little lower until I got back to work. It ended in XXXX of XXXX. Now I must have another XXXX ^ that piggybacks the above. It is scheduled for XX/XX/XXXX and I requested assistance again. They are stating there is no program available to me this time around and if the payments don't get paid they will report me to the credit bureau and that will kill what little credit I have. It's been a XXXX since the XX/XX/XXXX XXXX but then she stated they can't help me until a " XXXX from XX/XX/XXXX '' not a XXXX from the start of it. I requested documentation to show this ; she couldn't provide it. I requested a XXXX month lower interest rate, XXXX said no.…
I am a victim of identity theft. An account with Discover was opened in my name without my authorization. I have filed an Identity Theft Report with the Federal Trade Commission and provided this documentation to both Discover and all three credit bureaus ( XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ). Despite this, the account continues to be reported as valid and unpaid. The account was previously deleted and then reinserted onto my credit reports. I was not properly notified of this reinsertion. Additionally, the account is actively being updated as over the credit limit, which is causing ongoing damage to my credit. This is inaccurate reporting of a fraudulent account and a violation of my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I am requesting immediate blocking and permanent removal of this account from all credit bureaus. I am not responsible for this debt. I do not know the billing address associated with this fraudulent account because I never opened or authorized it.

The label is real and addressed correctly to me, but the status has been stuck at \'Pre-Shipment: Shipping Label Created, XXXX Awaiting Item\' (XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX) for XXXX days with no acceptance scan or movement whatsoever.…
On XX/XX/XXXX, " XX/XX/XXXX '' sent a person to fix our inoperable garage door. I agreed to an {$1100.00} price and signed when I thought the repair work had been completed. I did not notice that the technician had not connected the garage door to the garage door opener. When he connected the opener, the garage door remained inoperable. The technician tried to convince me that the garage door opener was at fault and tried to talk me into a new opener. I refused and told him to adjust the door so that I could open the door manually. For over anXX/XX/XXXX or more, I kept checking on his work and he kept calling people and telling me " not to touch the door ''. Eventually he packed out his tools, left through the house, and said he had to go to his pickup and not to touch the door. I assumed he would return with a tool. Instead, he left. When I went into the garage, I found the garage door jammed.…
On XX/XX/XXXX I was sued for the amount of {$7400.00} by XXXX XXXX XXXX to Discover bank for a credit card account with Discover bank that should have been considered closed and settled for less than full amount. I have attached email correspondence from Discover bank offering debt settlement dated XX/XX/XXXX along with a confirmation email from the Discover card representative dated XX/XX/XXXX confirming the total settlement agreement amount of {$2800.00} and my authorization of XXXX payments to be deducted from my bank account starting XX/XX/XXXX thru XX/XX/XXXX. The account with Discover bank was to be listed as closed settled for less than full amount after the final payment was satisfied. I have attached a copy of my bank statements showing that every payment on the confirmation email from Discover bank was paid on time for each month listed and the total amount of {$2800.00} was paid in full.…

XXXX credit card called my job looking for me and spoke with several employees at XXXX XXXX and told them I had debt with them. I wanted to sue before with my lawyer but I want to contact you first to see if you will do anything about it. My privacy was not respected and Discover was telling my debt business to people I work with weeks later I lose my job. How I know people knew about my business they cam up to me and I didnt even know them and said discover just called my phone line and said you have debt with them. And it wasnt just XXXX person it was SEVERAL. This caused XXXX and financial distress to me as a new mom. They put me in court when I was having my baby and they were taking 25 % out of my paycheck every week. This is illegal overall. I was given this website from a friend that said it needs to be reported because it is not right.
I am filing a complaint regarding XXXX refusal to issue a refund for merchandise that was misdelivered and never received at my address. The order was shipped via XXXX and marked as delivered. However, the delivery confirmation photo clearly shows that the package was delivered to a different address. I provided XXXX with clear photographic evidence : My residence has a white door with no screen door The delivery photo shows a mahogany-colored door with a white screen door This confirms the package was delivered to the wrong location. Company Conduct Despite reviewing this evidence, XXXX representatives XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and XXXX refused to issue a refund. Additionally, a supervisor identified as XXXX stated on a recorded call that I had provided proof of non-delivery, yet the company still refused to process a refund. I spent four days attempting to resolve this issue, submitting all requested documentation.…
I paid a {$500.00} deposit and {$1500.00} charge for a hair transplant with XXXX XXXX, but the surgeon did not use the amount of hair grafts I paid for, and completely disregarded how we agreed to do the hair transplant. I paid for XXXX hairs, but the surgeon only provided approx XXXX ( XXXX hairs per incision site/scab ), which can be seen in pictures, and I felt and counted how many incision sites were made during the procedure -- only about XXXX incision sites, which again can only amount to approx XXXX, at the most. The surgeon, then, also placed the hairs in areas I specifically told him not to ( in the middle of my hair, above my hairline ), and avoided areas where I asked him specifically to put hairs in to ( in front of my hair, before the hairline ). I have emails showing where we had previously agreed. After the procedure, I reached out to my bank to dispute the charge for services not received.…
Yes a attorney 's office put a garnishment on my checking account and they refuse to answer any of my phone calls to be able to set up a payment plan they have not returned any of my phone calls and also emails And they did not notify me in any way that they were going to do a garnishment on any of my accounts
I am submitting this complaint regarding Discovers handling of a billing dispute involving a billing error for services not rendered. On XX/XX/year>, I made an XXXX reservation using an XXXX gift card. Shortly after, I requested a modification to extend the stay through XX/XX/year>. When I accepted the modification, XXXX charged my Discover credit card {$3100.00} ( Transaction ID XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I did not receive any services for this charge. After noticing the charge, I immediately contacted the host and XXXX support and canceled the reservation associated with the {$3100.00} charge before any stay occurred. No accommodation or service was provided for that reservation. I subsequently rebooked the same accommodation and paid separately using the appropriate payment method. As a result, I paid for the same stay twice, once through the disputed charge of {$3100.00}, which was never used, and again through valid payments for the reservation I actually used.…
I disputed a {$75.00} XXXX charge ( dispute # XXXX ), which was denied on XX/XX/year>. After the denial, I submitted new material evidence, including airline correspondence acknowledging deficiencies in disability-related communication and a Department of Transportation complaint . Despite this, Discover refused to reopen or meaningfully review the case. Their representatives stated the documentation was not enough but could not identify what specific evidence was missing. They also stated they could not advise what documentation to provide, while simultaneously claiming the case had already been reviewed. This demonstrates that no reasonable investigation or evaluation of the submitted evidence occurred. I am requesting that Discover properly review all submitted documentation and provide a detailed explanation of their decision.
I recently discovered a credit card account reported in my name that I did not open, apply for, or authorize. The account is associated with Discover Bank, now referenced by XXXX XXXX as successor by merger. I believe my personal information may have been used without my permission to open this account. I did not receive the card, did not activate it, and did not make any purchases or payments on this account. I became aware of the account after it appeared on my credit report and was later used as the basis for a lawsuit against me in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I dispute this account entirely and maintain that it is the result of identity theft or unauthorized use of my information. I am requesting that this account be fully investigated, that any fraudulent activity be removed from my credit report, and that I be provided documentation showing how this account was opened and linked to my identity.

I am filing a complaint against this debt collection agency for refusing to provide debt validation prior to demanding payment. The company stated that they can not send any documentation or proof of the debt unless I pay first. This is a violation of my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), which requires debt collectors to provide validation of a debt upon request. They have continued attempting to collect via text messages while refusing to provide proper verification of the debt. I am requesting that the company : 1. Provide full validation of the alleged debt, including original creditor and documentation 2. Cease all collection activity until validation is provided 3. Remove the account from my credit report if they can not properly validate it This behavior is deceptive and non-compliant with federal law.
To Whom It May Concern at the Discover Disputes & Chargebacks Department : I am writing to formally escalate my chargeback dispute, which has been decided incorrectly against me on the most recent review. This letter serves as notice that Discover 's current ruling is factually unsupported, ignores documented merchant fraud, and if not corrected will compel me to pursue all available legal and regulatory remedies. I am requesting that Discover issue a final, permanent credit to my account in the amount of {$1200.00} no later than 48 hours from receipt of this correspondence. I have been a Discover cardholder in good standing for many years. In return, I am entitled to Discover 's good-faith application of its own chargeback protections protections which exist precisely for situations like this one. Discover has instead, on repeated occasions, allowed a foreign merchant engaged in documented fraud to reverse credits issued in my favor.…
Discover Dispute Numbers : XXXX ( {$180.00} ) and XXXX ( {$370.00} ) I am filing this complaint against Discover Bank for its failure to conduct a 'reasonable investigation ' into merchant fraud under the Fair Credit Billing Act ( FCBA ). I am seeking a full reversal of the diagnostic and service fees charged to my Discover card by the merchant, XXXX XXXX, as I am fighting to get all my money back and be made whole due to their extensive deception. XXXX XXXX engaged in blatant billing fraud. They charged me for ghost labor for a reservoir replacement that never actually happened. Furthermore, they aggressively charged me for a coolant flush on a vehicle they were fully aware had a severe, active coolant leak. Selling a fluid flush for a system that can not even hold fluid is an entirely useless, predatory service meant only to inflate the bill. This merchants deception goes beyond just these receipts.…
I inquired to XXXX XXXX about a year ago for debt settlement options. This was my first time inquiring and after speaking with a rep on the phone she told me shed send me documents to overview and sign. After more research I had decided to not go through with it. I NEVER signed anything. But they reported that I was working with them and reached out to Discover and XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX on my behalf. Because of this Discover and XXXX XXXX closed my account. I had to send a letter to tell them that I was not working with this company but it had been too late and my credit report was tainted.I have now started working with XXXX to pay off these cards.
I was having issues with a merchant, XXXX, as I was having issues with their website. They would not refund the {$30.00} subscription with the issues I was having. Eventually, they reinstated the membership. At the same time, I put in a dispute with Discover on the charge. When XXXX reinstated my subscription, I had Discover cancel the dispute. According to Discover, they cancelled the dispute in XXXX and it is now XXXX. XXXX somehow received the dispute after I cancelled it and they took off the {$30.00}. Now Discover refuses to reopen the dispute and XXXX refuses to refund the {$30.00}. Whatever policies are in place should be looked upon due to the issues here. This would never have happened if 1, XXXX 's site was working properly and 2. Discover did in fact cancel the dispute before it had reached XXXX. Now I am out {$30.00} and neither XXXX or Discover is taking responsibility.
Incident XXXX XX/XX/XXXX Discover placed a XXXX hold on a Pennsylvania unemployment deposit of {$520.00}, citing a " high likelihood of being returned unpaid. '' A state government unemployment payment is among the lowest-risk deposit types that exists. No issue was ever found. The funds were eventually released without explanation. Incident XXXX Current : Paycheck from XXXX XXXX XXXX and Heating, {$450.00} Discover has placed an extended hold of approximately XXXX week on my most recent paycheck. This is my second paycheck from this employer. Discover has already processed a paycheck from this same source, establishing it as a known, recurring deposit. There is no legitimate basis to flag a second paycheck from an established employer as suspicious.…
On XX/XX/year>, I purchased a sectional couch from XXXX XXXX XXXX The sectional was delivered on XX/XX/year> and was a right facing sofa not a left facing arm. On XX/XX/XXXX, it was re-delivered and held together with two C clamps. The clamps kept falling while delivery was still here. They refused to take it back I had contacted the store in XXXX, Ohio and the value city repair team in XXXX, Ohio. On two separate occasions, the repair team came out which was a young man who was advised to double side tape it together. I continue communication with the store for a resolution at which point they quit responding and subsequently filed bankruptcy. I filed a dispute with my credit card company Discover 45 days later after not hearing from value city they close the case I want this reevaluated I need some assistance with their dispute process.
As of XXXX have been advising that there was fraud on the account. The company advised they would report me on my credit bureaus if I did not make payments ; yet, making a payment according to the fraud investigator meant I had no fraud. Im a senior citizen, and they are practicing elderly abuse. I had asked to close the account then, but they refused, made me pay, and the balance never decreased. Fraud was never ethically reviewed because of the payment, which I was deceived and tricked into making. Now, as a senior citizen, I can not afford to. I did not charge up the cc. It is on my alert of CR, filing compaint with FACTA too. They violated UDAAP, FACTA, FDCPA, and Edery Abuse
