The transporter that was supposed to deliver this item to me company name XXXX XXXX XXXX and deliveries owner XXXX XXXX had stood me up twice and upon arrival and gave me an addition fake phone number claiming it was his wifes number which led to a homeless shelter. The seller XXXX gave me a hard time about this whole scenario I requested my money back he refused submitted my evidence to Zelle and Zelle keeps denying my claim despite everything

Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am writing to submit a follow-up complaint regarding my previous issue with Zelle involving XXXX {$500.00} fraudulent transaction that has yet to be resolved. Since filing my initial complaint, I have made multiple attempts to follow up directly with Zelle regarding my case. I have specifically left numerous messages for an agent identified as XXXX, who was assigned to or associated with my claim. Unfortunately, I have not received any response, nor have my phone calls been returned. This lack of communication is extremely frustrating and unacceptable, especially given the urgency and financial impact of this matter. As a consumer, I expect timely and professional communication when reporting fraud and seeking assistance. XXXX failure to respond only adds to the harm I have already experienced. To date : I have not received any meaningful update on my case. My repeated attempts to contact Zelle have been ignored.

The individual posed as someone I knew, but the actual recipient name ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) does not match the person I intended to pay. I reported the transaction immediately after sending it and requested a stop payment and fraud assistance. XXXX has no record of my initial report and confirmed that no recall request or notification was sent to the receiving bank. I contacted both XXXX and Zelle multiple times, including speaking with a supervisor. XXXX stated there are no recovery options for this type of fraud and took no recovery action despite immediate reporting. This transaction was made under false pretenses and should not be treated as a standard authorized payment. I am requesting a re-review of this case and appropriate recovery efforts.

I am submitting this complaint regarding inaccurate and fraudulent reporting related to my banking history and identity theft. I previously submitted an Identity Theft Report and supporting documentation showing that unauthorized transactions and activity occurred on my account without my knowledge or authorization. Despite this, negative reporting related to these fraudulent activities was reinserted into my consumer banking file. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Identity Theft provisions under XXXX U.S.C. XXXX, any information resulting from identity theft must be permanently blocked and can not be reinserted unless verified as accurate and belonging to me. I have not authorized any reinsertion, nor was I provided proper notice prior to reinsertion. The fraudulent activity also led to account restrictions, closures, and issues with peer-to-peer payment services. These actions were based on unauthorized transactions that were formally disputed as identity theft.

The final insult was a fake medical emergency, which had a completely unrelated drug prescribed, and she was told she would go to jail if I didn't pay. She claimed to have bruises and to have been attacked, which takes weeks to heal. She miraculously healed once the money was received. She threatened to attack me and my mother if I didn't send her money. She also said that she would punish me by opening fraudulent loans in my name from my information via XXXX and Zelle. I have been in touch with the XXXX XXXX fraud team member XXXX XXXX. I have contacted USA FBI and lodged a complaint with the FBI IC3 and also contacted USA ICE immigration team. I have XXXX unauthorized transactions that occurred on my bank account - one through Zelle for {$1800.00} to an XXXX XXXX ( associated phone number XXXX ) and XXXX unauthorized transactions using my debit card through XXXX for the amounts of {$750.00} and then subsequently {$1300.00} to a XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) via their platform. I am not familiar with either party and have never sent money to either individual previously. All XXXX transactions took place around XXXX XXXX while I was at home, in bed. None of these transactions were authorized, they are not to people I know, and in amounts that drained my entire checking account within moments. I have reported the issue to XXXX XXXX my financial institution and spoke with their security specialist for Zelle, XXXX, who reviewed the Zelle transaction and could clearly see that the money was moved to the XXXX XXXX account and then immediately transferred to another account.

It was induced by deception. XXXX is widely recognized as a platform frequently exploited for impersonation scams. Despite this, there appear to be insufficient safeguards in place to detect or prevent these transactions, and limited recourse for consumers once fraud occurs. My claim was denied on the basis that the transaction was authorized, despite the clear presence of fraud.

Despite this finding, my Zelle account continues to be restricted. XXXX XXXX has confirmed to me in writing that : They are not responsible for the restriction of my Zelle account, and The restriction was imposed by Zelle directly I must contact Zelle to have the restriction removed ( see attached email correspondence ) At this point, there is clear documentation from my financial institution verifying that no fraud occurred, yet Zelle has not lifted the restriction or provided a clear path to resolution.

Despite multiple disputes, Early Warning Services continues reporting the account and has refused to properly reinvestigate the dispute. In its written responses, Early Warning stated that my dispute contained no new information and dismissed it as duplicative. However, my dispute included new evidence, including incorrect identifying information associated with the account and confirmation of a fraud claim with the bank. My daughter informed me later that day that she had not received the monies therefore I went back into the Zelle application and I realized that I had selected her old phone number. I selected her correct phone number and sent her {$300.00}. I requested that the other number send me back the {$300.00} and did not receive a response. I called XXXX bank and informed them of the mishap. They said they reached out to Zelle and unfortunately they were not able to give me back my {$300.00}. I called the number that previously belonged to my daughter and it constantly goes to voicemail. I dont believe that this is an active phone number and I do not believe. that previously belonged to my daughter and it constantly goes to voicemail.

In XXXX of XXXX I began receiving collection notices and mail regarding overdrawn checking accounts, I reached out to XXXX, early Warning to get my consumer reports and accounts were open at XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX with overdrawn balances. I received notice from IRS that taxes were filed fraudulently using my social security number as well. I sent police report, IRS identity theft letter, FTC fraud verified notice to XXXX, early warning and they refuse to remove accounts from my file stating my information is accurately reported. It would be accurate if someone uses my drivers license in my stolen purse. I would like a lawsuit filed against Early Warning company.

They said they had a business account and customer service had to contact me. I called the number texted. I was told they would send me {$500.00} then I would send it back in order verify I could send to business accounts. I received a check from the customer rep via text to deposit the {$500.00} which was processed into my XXXX banking account. When I called to finish the process of sending it back, I knew it was a scam. The guy kept pressuring me to send {$500.00} back to the buyer. I refused, hung up, and was then locked out of my chase account due to suspicious activity. I am now on the phone with them seeing what I can do about the situation. After research, I learned this is a common scam. I did NOT send the {$500.00} back and I hung up immediately to call XXXX XXXX line.

After that application, I was contacted via text message because I had provided my phone number on the application which was about a week later they had reached out to me. The person contacted me had told me to communicate through XXXX teams for the interview and the hiring process during these conversations, I was offered a remote position with the company, which I accepted. XXXX, the company sent me a check for {$3500.00}. From there, the person told me to deposit in my XXXX XXXX account. I then got an email from XXXX that looked like a legitimate email everything about it a XXXX email except once you actually clicked on it and viewed the senders email address. It was not the official XXXX XXXX. I got a call from them who claimed to be a XXXX representative. They then said that I needed to upgrade my account to a business account and they said that the smallest transaction for this would have to be {$1000.00} so they told me that they informed XXXX to send me {$1000.00} and then I would just need to send it back.
