XX/XX/year>. I have over the past month tired to close my account with a vertual bank called Current bank which is primarily a phone application accounting, and FDIC backed by a Bank called XXXX Bank. They keep sending me an email saying that they have received my request to cancel my desire to close my account. The chat function is very slow and is offshore and it is impossible to get a real human on the phone to speak with. This institution promises credit building, but the way they do it is that you direct deposit your money and then they make a fake loan from it as you spend money and at the end of the month they report the spending as a loan and XXXX it out. Which is not helpful for credit building for it is creating a high borrowing ratio which makes the customer 's XXXX XXXX go down drastically.

I am filing a complaint against Current ( banking institution ) for improperly denying a charge dispute involving an invalid {$100.00} charge from XXXX XXXX XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX. The XXXX XXXX XXXX service associated with this charge was canceled prior to the transaction, and XXXX XXXX XXXX confirmed that a {$100.00} refund was owed to me. Despite this, the charge was applied because XXXX XXXX XXXX failed to provide the required equipment return kit in a timely manner. I did not receive the return kit until after the charge was assessed, which was completely outside of my control. I disputed this charge with Current in good faith and provided accurate information. On XX/XX/XXXX, I was informed that the dispute resulted in a loss. However, Current did not provide a clear written explanation of how the evidence was evaluated or why this charge was deemed valid despite the service cancellation and XXXX XXXX XXXX acknowledged refund obligation.

On XX/XX/XXXX I placed a rather large grocery order on instacart and never recieved the groceries I ordered. I sent my bank clear proof and factual statements about what happened to show proof of what happened .there was no communication between me and the delivery driver for him to gain entrance to my gated community and no proof of delivery ie Picture of drop off location to show where my order was left. I sent proof to my bank of the merchant apologizing for not delivering my order and when I called the delivery driver he didnt speak English to even communicate properly about my order. I've sent over documentation to my bank of communication between me and the merchant of them telling me to withdraw the dispute filed with my bank so they can refund me and then when my bank decided to favor the merchant and close the dispute the merchant went back on their word to refund me. I've filed complaints with the bbb as well and filed a police report over the incident.

Dear XXXX XXXX, I am writing to formally request that my dispute be reopened regarding the unauthorized transactions on my account totaling {$2300.00}. Unfortunately, he knew my phone passcodes and had access to my financial apps and personal information. Because of this, he was able to access my accounts and make transactions without my authorization. During that time, I did not have control of my phone or accounts. I had to replace my phone and secure my accounts afterward once I was able to regain access. The funds that were taken included my tax refund, which I depend on for essential living expenses and to secure a new place to live. I want to make it very clear that I did not authorize these transactions or give anyone permission to use my card or accounts. The transactions were made while my phone and financial information were in someone elses possession.

Shortly after the deposit, my account was placed under review for suspected fraud, and {$5000.00} of my funds have been withheld. However, they have not provided any evidence supporting that conclusion. Under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act ( Regulation E ), unauthorized electronic fund transfers must be reimbursed unless the institution can demonstrate that the consumer authorized the transfer. I did not authorize these transactions and did not knowingly send funds to this person. The banks response appears to rely solely on merchant confirmation rather than a proper investigation that includes device logs, authentication records, or other proof that I initiated the transfers.
