By obstructing my right XXXX cancel and refusing XXXX provide the necessary paperwork during business hours, the gym acted in bad faith XXXX violated consumer protection standards regarding gym contracts. I ceased using the facility immediately following these failed attempts XXXX cancel. I am filing this complaint regarding collection accounts that have been reported on my credit report for over XXXX years. I have been receiving repeated phone calls from debt XXXX attempting to collect these debts. I previously disputed these accounts because I do not recall entering into a valid agreement with the XXXX reporting them. Despite my disputes, the accounts continue to appear on my credit reports and collection agencies continue to contact me by phone. I have requested validation of these debts, but I have not received sufficient documentation proving that the debts are accurate, that the amounts are correct, or that the XXXX have the legal right to collect them. These continued collection attempts and repeated calls are causing harassment and financial harm to my credit profile.

I am disputing an alleged debt of {$120.00} from XXXX XXXX, which was sent to First Credit Services for collection. I had a month-to-month membership and was informed I could cancel anytime. After moving to a new location, I contacted XXXX XXXX to cancel my membership, but they refused to process the cancellation, even though I could no longer use the facility. I do not owe this debt. First Credit Services is attempting to collect a debt that is invalid and legally unenforceable. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA, 15 U.S.C. 1692g ), I requested validation of this debt, including a signed membership agreement, detailed billing history, and proof the agency is authorized to collect it. They have failed to provide any validation, which makes continued collection activity a violation of federal law. I request that all collection activity cease immediately and that this alleged debt be removed from any credit reporting unless proper validation is provided.

I am reporting repeated and improper collection activity from a debt collector who refuses to identify their company or the creditor they represent. Two different phone numbers associated with the same collector have called me multiple times, often hanging up immediately after I answer. When I finally spoke with a representative, they refused to state their name, company, or the debt they were attempting to collect until after I pointed out that under Florida and federal law, they must identify themselves and their client before requesting any verification of my identity. The representative tried to persuade me to confirm my personal information before verifying who they were. I have never received any written notice or debt validation letter from this company prior to these phone calls, as required by 15 U.S.C. 1692g. I have twice stated clearly that I will not verify any information by phone and requested written correspondence only.
