Phil Long Ford XXXX XXXX XXXX, wrote a fraudulent contract. The dealership used an inflated sale amount which in turn caused the Truth in Lending disclosures to be inaccurate. They also charged fees and services I did not authorize. I recently noticed this when reviewing my contract. The Sales Agreement was also incomplete and does not match the Retail Installment Contract numbers.

In XX/XX/year>, Ford Motor Company called me about extension and late fees on my car loan. I agreed to pay off the {$2000.00} starting on the XXXX, but the agent didn't explain how to send the payment or request a confirmation number. I drove to XXXX, made a payment for {$280.00} including a {$1.00} fee on the XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. A week later, I found an email from FMC stating my account was sent to the Credit Bureau as charged off. I called FMC to ask why this happened. XXXX, a representative, put me on hold to review confusing notes left by a previous agent. She clarified that my payment was due on XX/XX/XXXX but was received on the XXXX, which led to my account being charged off. The XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that I bought/financed through Ford Motor Credit suffered XXXX XXXX XXXX stall at highway speed in approximately XX/XX/XXXX about 7 months after purchase. This happened on a vehicle subject to Fords own acknowledged recall covering loss of drive power. I subsequently voluntarily surrendered the defective vehicle. Ford Motor Company failed to repair or remedy the defect despite its recall obligations. Ford Motor Credit a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company is now attempting to collect a deficiency on a loan for a defective vehicle that its parent company refused to repair. I have since written a demand letter to Ford Motor Company to acknowledge their warranty obligation on the defective battery of the car and provide a similar replacement, not new, and I am offering to continue payments based on the current market value of the replacement vehicle that is warrantied to have a non-defective battery.…
I am filing this complaint against Ford Motor Credit Company regarding a significant and unexplained increase in my monthly auto loan payment. I purchased my vehicle in 2022 under the understanding that my loan had a fixed monthly payment of {$690.00}. At no point did I enter into a hardship program, deferment plan, or agree to any modification that would permanently increase my payment. However, my monthly payment has increased to {$960.00}. This increase was not clearly explained to me, and I do not recall signing or agreeing to any terms that would justify such a substantial change. When I contacted Ford Motor Credit Company for clarification, I was told that there was nothing they could do because I signed the contract. No detailed explanation or breakdown of the increase was provided. As a result of this unexpected and unaffordable increase, I am now 70 days behind on my payments and at risk of repossession.…
I refinanced my vehicle with XXXX and signed the paperwork in late XXXX. They sent the pay-off, but then received a notice from Ford Motor Credit that the payment was returned due to an issue with the check. XXXX sent another check again and the payment was returned once more. I did submit a complaint to XXXX due to the issue with the payoff, and they responded and reached out to Ford about the payment reversals and they agreed to receive the payment. They sent another check on Friday, XX/XX/XXXX, and just received notification this morning, XX/XX/XXXX, that the check was not being accepted. In the mean time, I am on the hook for XXXX car payments that I can not afford as this back and forth keeps occurring! I have refinanced my vehicle with XXXX before and had no issues, not sure why Ford is not accepting the payments.
I leased a vehicle through XXXXXXXX XXXX ford XXXXn XXXX, michigan. Per their own letter which is being provided there was a system error and they did not provide Ford motor credit with the correct phone number AFTER signing. Not only has Ford kept the derogatory mark on my credit due to an issue from their dealerships end but its being incorrectly reported as I have paid Ford motor and do not have a bill it is still being viewed as a " charge-off '' and not a " paid charge-off '' Ford is also trying to charge me with an extra {$700.00} charge over a crack in my windshield at turn in as I have request pictures from the lease end turn in team and they only provided me with…

I am requesting assistance with an auto loan held by Ford Motor Credit Company for a vehicle that was totaled and no longer exists. I did not have XXXX insurance, and the insurance payout did not satisfy the remaining loan balance. As a result, Ford Credit continues to require monthly payments on collateral that has been destroyed and from which I receive no use or benefit. Since the total loss, my financial circumstances have significantly deteriorated. I am currently unemployed, experiencing homelessness, and living solely on XXXX XXXX income. I no longer have transportation and do not have the financial ability to continue paying a balance tied to a non-existent asset. I am filing this complaint regarding an auto loan that was approved using materially inaccurate financial information submitted by the dealership. During the purchase of a XXXXXXXX Ford XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, New Mexico, the dealership completed and submitted my credit application electronically through its finance system. After reviewing my loan documents, I discovered that my income was overstated well above my actual W-2 income and my monthly rent was listed far below my true housing expense. I did not provide or authorize false income or housing information, and I was not asked to provide proof of income. I was not shown the inaccurate figures before signing. The loan included over {$20000.00} in negative equity, making accurate financial information essential to underwriting approval. The loan appears to have been approved based on these misrepresentations.…
A car dealership ran multiple ( over XXXX ) hard credit inquiries with several credit unions without my authorization. Over a course if several days. Any credit authorization I signed was approximately two months earlier for a separate transaction. On the date of the inquiries, I did not sign a credit application or provide written or electronic consent. The dealership relied solely on a phone conversation regarding vehicle pricing and financing possibilities and did not disclose that a hard inquiry would be run or that my credit would be submitted to multiple lenders. I am requesting investigation, removal of the unauthorized inquiries, and confirmation that my consumer rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act have been upheld.

Most notably, on XXXX and XXXX I felt that I should stay on the phone and wait until I got an answer. I am submitting this complaint regarding an auto loan that was funded after I attempted to withdraw authorization prior to funding. On Monday, XX/XX/XXXX, while the loan was not yet funded, I contacted the dealership, XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX XXXX to communicate that I wished to withdraw authorization to proceed with funding of the transaction. During these communications, I was advised that the matter would need to be handled through the dealership. I clearly communicated to the dealership that I did not wish to proceed with funding. Rather than addressing my withdrawal of authorization, the dealership focused discussions on vehicle repairs and continued the transaction. Before any reliability issues arose and before I sought to withdraw from the transaction, I invested significant funds in non-essential, enjoyment-based vehicle modifications.…
Ford Motor Credit Company cancelled and discharged my auto debt and issued IRS Form 1099-C declaring cancellation of the debt in the amount of {$48000.00}, with an identifiable event date of XX/XX/XXXX. The account was charged off and closed, and no repossession or enforcement action has ever occurred. Despite cancelling the debt and reporting it as discharged to the Internal Revenue Service, Ford Motor Credit Company continues to retain and assert a lien against the vehicle title. This prevents lawful sale, transfer, or clear ownership of the vehicle. The vehicle has remained continuously registered and lawfully operated in the State of South Dakota, including registration renewal in XX/XX/XXXX, without any repossession or enforcement by Ford Motor Credit Company. Ford Motor Credit Company has no lawful basis to retain a lien after cancellation of the underlying debt. Continued retention of the lien constitutes wrongful lien retention and unlawful clouding of title.…
