On XX/XX/year>, I submitted a CFPB complaint disputing inaccurate credit reporting related to a vehicle repossession. The company confirmed that a single repossession occurred, the vehicle was sold, and the account was charged off. However, the account continues to be reported with month-to-month repossession ( RPO ) indicators for an extended period after the repossession and sale. In addition to the continued repossession reporting, the account is being reported with inaccurate and misleading information, including continued monthly derogatory updates after the account was closed, inconsistent account status following repossession and sale, and reporting that creates the appearance of ongoing negative activity rather than a single historical event. This continuous reporting makes the derogatory event appear more recent and ongoing, which is misleading.…

What happened : I am filing a complaint regarding inaccurate credit reporting on my credit file. My account with Global Lending Services ( Account Number : XXXX ) is currently being reported as a charged-off account, which is incorrect. This account was never charged off. Despite this, the account continues to be reported inaccurately, which is negatively affecting my credit profile and financial standing. .

I disputed an automobile loan account reported by Global Lending Services on my credit report. The account shows an original loan amount of approximately {$28000.00} and a balance reported around {$30000.00} with a charge-off status. I requested verification of this account and asked the company to provide the original signed agreement, the complete payment history, and documentation showing how the balance and the charge-off amount were calculated. The company responded that the account was verified as accurate, but they did not provide the documents I requested. Because I did not receive the requested documentation, I can not confirm that the balance and the charge-off status being reported are accurate. I believe the investigation may have been incomplete and the information being reported may be inaccurate.

At the time of purchase, the dealership provided inspection documentation indicating that the vehicle had passed a multipoint inspection and did not show major mechanical concerns, including suspension or axle issues. Shortly after the purchase, mechanical issues began to appear. The vehicle was taken to another XXXX dealership for a full diagnostic evaluation. That diagnostic identified significant suspension and axle related concerns that contradict the earlier inspection documentation provided at the time of sale. After discovering these issues, I attempted to resolve the matter by contacting the dealership and seeking clarification regarding the inspection results and the vehicles condition at the time it was sold. I was directed back and forth between the dealership and manufacturer without resolution.…

I requested complete account documentation for my auto loan so I could verify the amount being claimed as past due. Specifically, I requested a full transaction ledger from origination to present, all monthly billing statements from XX/XX/XXXX to present, a copy of the executed retail installment contract, an itemized breakdown of the current past-due balance and late fees, copies of any deferral or modification agreements, and an updated amortization schedule reflecting any extensions. The company did not provide the requested records. Instead, it stated in writing that the ledger is the contract, that it does not have a copy of the contract to provide, and that if statements are not available online then it does not have copies to provide. The online portal only shows limited statements from XXXX forward, even though the loan originated in XX/XX/XXXX. This means multiple years of billing statements are unavailable to me.…
I entered into an auto loan agreement with Global Lending Services and have made consistent monthly payments. However, I have been unable to register or legally operate the vehicle for approximately eight months because there is no valid title available. Without a title, I can not obtain registration or legally drive the vehicle. I have contacted the company multiple times regarding this issue. Despite the unresolved title problem, they continue to demand full monthly payments. I believe it is improper to require full payment on a vehicle that can not legally be used due to documentation issues outside of my control. I am requesting correction of the title issue or a fair financial adjustment for the period I was unable to legally use the vehicle.
