In [ month, e.g., XX/XX/year> ], I was charged {$420.00} by GoogleXXXX XXXX instead of my usual monthly charge of {$87.00}. I contacted Google immediately, and they agreed to issue a refund. However, over two months have passed, and I have not received the refund. The original payment was made with a debit card that was later cancelled by my bank. I have already provided Google with my new card information, but they continue to state that the refund is processing without providing any date or confirmation. I have filed complaints with both the New York State Attorney Generals Office and the Consumer Protection Agency, but Google still has not completed the refund.

In XXXX XXXX, I attempted to subscribe to the advertised Google XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. However, I encountered a systemic technical glitch : the system displays an " Offer unavailable '' error immediately upon clicking the promotion, functionally blocking me from reaching the required third-party SheerID verification portal. This is not an isolated incident ; a massive number of consumers have reported encountering the exact same technical barrier online ( links to community reports are attached as evidence : https : XXXX ). Over the past two weeks, I engaged in extensive communication with Google Support. I provided clear video evidence demonstrating that the error occurs prior to the verification step. Instead of escalating the bug, support agents trapped me in a logical loop, repeatedly demanding a screenshot of a " completed SheerID verification '' an impossible request since their own system prevented consumers from initiating the process.

On XX/XX/year>, I had approximately {$100.00} in my Google Play balance funded with my own money through a gift card. On XX/XX/year>, I asked XXXX to let me transfer that balance to Google Wallet or withdraw/refund it. XXXX refused and relied on its policy that, in the United States, Google Play balance is generally not refundable, not transferable, and not redeemable for cash, except where required by law. XXXX public policies also show that users in XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX have refund options for certain redeemed balances that are not being made available to me as a XXXX consumer. Subject : Unauthorized Charge and Overdraft Caused by Google Subscription Billing I am filing a complaint regarding an unauthorized recurring charge processed by Google that resulted in financial harm. A subscription that I was unaware was still active attempted to charge an older payment method on file, which was declined. Without my authorization or notification, Google then charged a newly added debit card associated with my Google account. I did not give explicit consent for this new payment method to be used for this subscription. This unexpected charge caused my bank account to overdraft, resulting in additional financial hardship and fees. I immediately contacted Google to request a refund, explaining that : I was unaware the subscription was still active The charge was processed using a different payment method without my knowledge The charge caused an overdraft Google denied my refund request without adequately addressing these concerns.

From XX/XX/XXXX, thru XX/XX/XXXX Google charged me {$16.00} per month for a subscription to Google workplace suite , a business software suite composed of their free products meant for sale to small businesses. As an individual not a business, all these products are offered for free use. For months when I would see the charge in my ledger, I was under the impression that it was for another product that I did purchase from Google. It was only recently did I learned what exactly I was being charged for. Additionally I learned why I never found more information out about it. Google uses a 12 digit payment ID that basically bundles and itemizes all your purchases associated with Google. Under my payment ID the Google workplace suite never showed up I was never aware that I was being charged for it. However I did not know that there was a separate payment ID. Using my email not my name. The fact is I never signed up for the Google workplace suite , I never provided my informed consent.
