I bought a XXXX XXXX XXXX from top speed auto in XXXX Arizona on XX/XX/XXXX. We met at Lendmark financial to discuss numbers and finalize the autoloan for the mustang. Once we finished the paperwork and I was approved, they handed me the keys and said come back to their dealership in a week and they would give me the registration paperwork and fix the clips on the bumper since I complained about it. I wait XXXX week and during that time the XXXX XXXX broke. I went back to the dealer to tell them about it only to find out they closed forever. No cars on the lot, windows were covered and the doors were locked. So I am left with no registration. I go to Lendmark financial and explain the situation to them. The XXXX XXXX told me I need to get a " bonded title '' if I wanted to register the car since the dealer went out of business. Also mentions that the dealer never sent the title to the bank!…
I am filing a complaint regarding a charged-off account with Lendmark Financial Services XXXX I am attempting to resolve this account in good faith, however I have been told that I must pay the full remaining balance of {$8800.00} with no option for settlement or negotiation. Additionally, this account continues to update on my credit report, which is causing significant damage to my credit score. I recently experienced a drop of over XXXX points after this account was updated.
I am disputing the inaccurate reporting and improper handling of my auto loan account with Lendmark Financial Services following my vehicle being totaled. My primary auto insurance paid the majority of the loan balance. A GAP claim was also involved ; however, I have confirmed that the lender did not submit the GAP claim until XX/XX/year>. The claim remained open and under review until XX/XX/year>. During this time, my account was in an active insurance/GAP process. Despite this, Lendmark reported my account as 30 days late in XX/XX/year>. I was not notified that payments had resumed or that my account was due prior to being reported late. I was not contacted regarding any payment until XX/XX/year>, XXXX day after the GAP claim was finalized. During that XX/XX/year> call, I was not informed of any prior delinquency for XXXX. Instead, I was offered a deferment, which I signed on XX/XX/year>.…
The debt collector has done unjustifiable practices of the FDCPA which it prohibits. They furnished this account that we didnt agree upon and I didnt sign an agreement on. A legal contract is signed by XXXX parties and I didnt sign not participate in any of it. They didnt follow the proper XXXX validation procedure. I am filing this complaint regarding my auto loan with Lendmark Financial Services. I formally requested a copy of my amortization schedule and a detailed breakdown of how my payments have been applied to principal, interest, and fees. When I originally executed my loan agreement, an amortization schedule was provided as part of the contract documents. I contacted the branch where the loan originated to request a copy and was told that Lendmark does not provide amortization schedules and that I was never given one. This statement is incorrect. After reviewing my payment history, I discovered that the first six consecutive monthly payments were applied entirely to interest and/or fees with no reduction to principal. I sent multiple written requests to Lendmarks corporate customer service and complaint email addresses requesting : 1. A copy of the full amortization schedule, AND a detailed payment history showing how each payment has been applied. 2.…
This company sent me an email about a debt that does not belong to me or anyone i know. They have this person 's name and debt details, very sensitive information and just shared it with me in the email. Very not okay and illegal. Debt collectors get away with so much, but this is inexcusable. I have the amount, his name, the end of the account and a login pin.
I called the branch XXXX Wednesday the XXXX, at XXXX pm, to explain to them about some stuff I was dealing with, how the car payments were a little high, and that XXXX XXXX down on a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that books between $ XXXX {$6000.00}. They want a total payoff of almost {$17000.00}. The branch XXXX, XXXX, was extremely rude and dismissive, and explained to me that they would not go through the effort of repossessing my vehicle, and that they would just contact a lawyer and garnish my wages her words, not mine. I feel like XXXX XXXX down in this loan on a predatory 25 % XXXX, to which I was met with bullying and harassment and response of trying to explain my concerns. When I tried to explain that my XXXX diagnosis and related financial hardship forced me to refinance, I was told that it was my choice to do so, and that no one had forced my hand. I was treated very poorly, and I am very upset with the result.…
I filled out an online application XX/XX/year> a little after lunch time I believe. I got a call the same day, later on in the evening to gather some more information. They requested pay stubs, which I submitted and a copy of my drivers license which I submitted. She called back requesting a utility bill or something since my address on my application did not match my drivers license. Understandable, I happily submitted it. She calls back to tell me what I have been approved for and goes over everything and we agreed I would come in the next day on my lunch break to finalize the documents. I got in the next day, already very defeated because of the financial situation I was in and then she starts acting if I decided if I wanted the full amount I was approved for or just the amount I requested.…
Original loan- XX/XX/XXXX Amount- {$6500.00} The company reached out via phone to offer complimentary {$240.00} in XXXX of XXXX. I was told the loan and payments would remain the same. I have reviewed my credit report and Lendmark had closed my original loan and reopened a new loan with higher amount and interest without my consent. I emailed and called Lendmark complaining and asking to reach out to fix this immediately without any response or resolution. Please see email below sent XX/XX/XXXX after I found out on my credit and payments. Hi, I am writing to you all with concerns that I have. The call that I received from my representative XXXX, was that I would receive an additional {$240.00} and just skip a payment. I did not authorize a full credit screening ( which dinged my credit ) a closing of my old account and an opening of a new account under lendmark with a larger balance and double the monthly payment.…

My account with Lendmark Financial as charged off in XX/XX/year>. I reached out to lender to surrender the vehicle for repossession and they refused to pick up the vehicle. The informed me I still owe which I understood and accept responsibility for the balance but I am in the process of moving to another state and I do not want to tow the car that I cant register or drive because it was charged off. I am considering filing XXXX just no not have to drag the vehicle around that they already charged off.
I am submitting this complaint regarding Lendmark Financial Services for ongoing harassment and excessive debt-collection calls that are causing significant stress and disruption to my daily life. Lendmark Financial has been calling my personal cellphone more than seven times per day, often from different phone numbers and, at times, from different branch locations in other states. I have also received calls after the Georgia office is closed, which suggests attempts to bypass call-blocking or tracking. In addition, Lendmark has repeatedly called my place of employment, despite being clearly informed that personal debt-collection calls are not permitted at my workplace. I explicitly advised them of this, yet the calls have continued. I want to be clear that I do not refuse to repay this loan. I fully intend to do so.…
I am writing to formally document and report my experience during a phone call with Lendmark Financial on XX/XX/year>. On this date, I contacted Lendmark Financial and spoke with a representative named XXXX, as well as her manager, to explain my current financial hardship and the reasons I have been unable to make my monthly payments. During this call, I clearly explained that I intend to repay my debt through National Debt Relief, as I am no longer financially able to maintain the existing payment arrangement. Throughout the conversation, XXXX repeatedly spoke over me and would not allow me to fully explain my situation. Both XXXX and her manager stated that Lendmark would continue calling me multiple times and threatened to contact my current employer to garnish my wages if payment was not made immediately. These statements were made despite my explanation that I am actively pursuing a legitimate debt repayment program.…
I am submitting this complaint for violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), including 15 U.S.C. 1681i and 1681e ( b ), involving inaccurate, duplicate, and reinserted credit reporting by Lendmark Financial Services and the credit reporting agencies. I want to be clear that I am aware of and acknowledge owing one legitimate debt with Lendmark. However, my credit reports are reflecting two separate accounts, which is inaccurate, misleading, and confusing. I did not open, agree to, or authorize a second account. One Lendmark account was previously deleted from my credit reports in or around XXXX, yet it later reappeared. This reinsertion occurred without any written notice to me within XXXX business days, and without any certification of accuracy, in violation of 15 U.S.C. 1681i ( a ) ( 5 ) ( B ). Additionally, the reporting is materially misleading.…
I received a car titleloan in XX/XX/XXXXXXXX for {$5000.00}. And then I had referred a friend in XX/XX/XXXX and they could not approve my person I referred and they told me that I could get {$1000.00} out and just pay it to the person I was referring to the XXXX XXXX so in total it was a {$6000.00} loan that ended up getting refinanced and they put {$3000.00} extra on the {$1000.00} that they suggested that I get so that way I could help my friend out even though she wasnt approved through the company, but it was approved through my account. So now in XX/XX/XXXXXXXX I have paid this loan for 30 months now of $ XXXX monthly and Ive only asked for two deferment so far from those 30 months so Ive been paying 93 % of the time for my loan and I still have an outstanding principal balance of {$8000.00} that I owe to the financial institution.…
I am filing a complaint regarding materially inaccurate and misleading loan balance information provided by Lendmark/Landmark Financial , which has significantly impacted my ability to manage and resolve my account. According to the lenders customer-facing online portal, the amount due on my next billing statement is listed as {$540.00}. However, I contacted the lender directly and spoke with a representative named XXXX, as well as the branch manager, XXXX, on separate occasions. Both confirmed that the correct amount due for the upcoming billing cycle is {$290.00} and that the amount displayed in the customer portal is incorrect. I was explicitly told that accurate balances are reflected only within the lenders internal systems and that the portal is unreliable. The online portal is the primary and official tool provided to customers to review balances, track payments, and manage their accounts. It is reasonable and expected for consumers to rely on this information.…
I am disputing a personal loan with Lendmark Financial Services, LLC. Prior to Lendmark filing a lawsuit against me in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Case No. XXXX ), I contacted Lendmark by telephone and requested my principal balance. Lendmarks representatives refused to disclose the principal balance. After filing suit, Lendmark claimed a principal amount and total balance that appear to include insurance or add-on products that I did not knowingly authorize. These insurance products were bundled into the loan without clear, separate disclosure or my affirmative consent. I was never provided a clear, itemized accounting separating actual loan proceeds from interest, fees, and any insurance products. I believe these actions constitute unfair or deceptive practices and may violate the Truth in Lending Act ( TILA ), including failure to clearly disclose finance charges and optional insurance.
Re : Lendmark Financial Services Inaccurate Credit Reporting I am disputing Lendmark Financial Services reporting of the account listed on my credit report. I previously requested validation and accurate verification of this debt, yet Lendmark continues to report negative information without providing proper documentation proving the accuracy of the balance, payment history, and my legal responsibility. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( 15 U.S.C. 1681 ), furnishers must investigate disputes and report only information that is complete and accurate. Lendmark has failed to meet this obligation. I am requesting that CFPB require Lendmark to either provide full, competent verification or delete this account from all credit reporting agencies immediately. This continued reporting is causing financial harm and is not legally supported.
We pay for an insurance on our loan for in case if we are in an accident or lose our job. When we got the loan and were asked if we wanted the insurance we asked if they can explain it better and they told us the insurance would cover the entirety of the loan if anything happened to the car, if either of us lost our lives, if we were in an accident and unable to work or if we lost our jobs. We'll just about all of the above happened to one or the other of us except for loosing our jobs, and when each event happened we were told oh sorry thats not covered. When my husband finally lost his job and was approved for unemployment they said that the payments would only be made for 12 months and not the entirety of the loan. When we told them thats not how it was explained to us they said oh well who ever explained it to you gave you the wrong information and there is nothing they could do.
I have request to settle the debt with this company and theyve ignore to make a settlement with me. They keep informing me in order for them to settle with me I have to be up-to-date with my payments. I cant afford to pay them {$240.00} a month and they wont accept any payment less than that amount. I am sick of Lendmark Financial. They attempt to debt my card without my consent. The XXXX at Lendmark in XXXX VA keep ignoring my request to settle. This company had caused stress because if they go without being paid they attempt to take me to court and put a judgement against me. And the more I seem to pay the debt only gets higher its up to {$10000.00} now.

Help my rights are being violated, 15 U.S.C. 1692g ( b ) of the FDCPA requires debt collectors to cease collection activities and provide proper validation of the debt when requested in writing within 30 days of initial contact. The accounts Ive referenced are not 100 % accurate. So I had bought a used car a few years back with Lendmark financial. I had refinanced the car a few times because of financial reasons but I was able to pay no problem up until a few months back I was really struggling with financial hardship and let them know they had agreed to do a loan modification for about half of what I was paying, but I couldnt keep the car because of maintainence and tags basically extra expenses to take care of the car so the branch manager told me sell the car and by selling it and giving them the money I would be on a permanent loan modification for doing that which I thought was good so I went ahead and did that with them i sold it for XXXX $ dollars I kept no money from the sell I just wanted to pay them down some money and the branch manager told me that I had basically paid 4 months of the loan ahead of time so I didnt need to worry about making any payments and I asked her in person because I signed off on the car with my co worker in front of her that…
