I decided to continue to make my payments as usual & expected to see the account closed by THEM, not by me due to the fact that if I request it, it will affect my credit negatively. XX/XX/XXXX, they sent me an email reminding me that the account will be closed if card is not activated. I had no incline to activate the card due to their interest being 33.99 % and the fact they had concocted a {$4.00}. monthly statement fee out of nowhere for months. For over one year, Best Egg has failed to properly release or transmit the vehicle title to the XXXX Department of Revenue, which is required to renew my vehicle registration. XXXX MVD and my county tag office have confirmed that they have not received the title or any electronic lien release from Best Egg. Best Egg repeatedly states that the title was sent or that a duplicate was requested, but they have provided no proof of electronic lien release or tracking. I contacted BestEgg and was told they couldnt help because I didnt let them know before filing. However, Ive been informed by my attorney that the automatic stay goes into effect immediately - notice isnt required beforehand. I sent the full payoff amount to Best Egg on XX/XX/year>. Best Egg did not record payment until XX/XX/XXXX ( XXXX days later ). In that time, my regular monthly automatic payment was also sent to them on XX/XX/XXXX. They refused to turn off that payment in advance. They said there was nothing they could do about the interest charged between the date I sent the payoff amount and when they marked it as received. They said I would receive a refund of the overpayment no later than XXXX days from XXXX XXXX. That date has come and gone and they have ceased communicating with me on this topic. The have continued to call more than 7 times a day from best egg listed numbers and spamed numbers. Even though I have not been more than a month late I feel its excessive. Everytime I attempt to use this credit card, it declines and fraud locks. I've responded to text message alerts that all the charges are valid, then tried the charge again and it fails over and over. I tried calling customer service to have them unlock the card and it still declines even with them on the phone. I've also tried talking to the fraud department and they are of no help in getting the card to work either.
