Debt collection· Attempts to collect debt not owedSC

I have made multiple attempts to contact this company directly to request validation of this debt, including requests for a signed lease agreement, payment history, and proof of my legal responsibility. To date, I have received no response. Despite this, the company continues to report this account to credit bureaus while it is under dispute. I am also requesting that the credit bureaus explain their method of verification for this account.

I am requesting immediate removal of this collection account from all credit reporting agencies because the debt collector ( National Credit Systems XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, GA XXXX ) reported and continued collection activity on a disputed account before providing proper validation after a timely written dispute and request for validation. The account has been reported on the credit files of two consumers, myself and my son. Despite repeated written and verbal requests for validation and attempts to resolve this matter in good faith, the company proceeded with credit reporting without substantiating the alleged debt or providing the requested validation as required under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and further provided materially contradictory information regarding validation and credit reporting practices. I timely disputed this alleged debt in writing on XX/XX/XXXX, and requested validation pursuant to my rights under federal law.

I dispute the collection account reported by National Credit Systems , Inc. relating to XXXX XXXX because the information is inaccurate and has not been reasonably verified. I first disputed this account through NCSs website on XX/XX/XXXX, and again on XX/XX/XXXX. NCS simply confirmed the account with XXXX instead of resolving the actual discrepancy. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent NCS both an email and a letter urging it to investigate. NCS replied that it had investigated, but the only support it provided was email communication with XXXX and XXXX own ledger. Those records are internally inconsistent. XXXX Final Account Charges page states that I paid {$470.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. However, the ledger in the same set of records shows that my payment was {$820.00}. My bank statement confirms a payment of {$820.00}. I pointed out this specific discrepancy again through NCSs website on XX/XX/XXXX, but received no meaningful response, and the account has continued to be reported.

I DO NOT OWE ON THIS DEBT. I FINISHED MY LEASE AND STAYED XXXX EXTRA MONTHS BY PAYING MY MONTHLY RENT. THIS COLLECTION IS A TRUE VIOLATION OF MY FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT RIGHTS. In XXXX, terminating a lease requires written notice at least XXXX full rental period plus XXXX day before the move-out date for month-to-month agreements. For fixed-term leases, notice is not required to end on the expiration date, but XXXX days ' notice is recommended. Landlords must now mitigate damages if a tenant abandons the property. Your collection agency has ruined my credit, even though I did everything right. My landlord is trying to collect on a debt I do not owe. Im consulting a lawyer to fight this and I believe the CFPB should take sanctions against this agency. Currently, I demand copies of my original documentation that proves responsibility of a posted collection against me personally.

Cleaned the apartment at move out. The landlord asked for a 'professional '' receipt. I provided a hand-written receipt from a private cleaner who cleans their common areas. The landlord claims it ( receipt not the quality of the cleaning ) to be not professional. After paying the cleaner {$120.00}, I agreed to pay an additional {$160.00} to the landlord to close the issue ; landlord still insisted amount close to {$500.00} for cleaning. I told them I consider it unreasonable and inaccurate. The landlord sent their invoice to collection. The collection asked for {$570.00}, an inaccurate amount, which is about twice of what they reported to the credit bureaus as derogatory claim amount. I have attached back up documents. There are several reviews for this landlord ( XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, WA ) regarding the cleaning charges at the moveout.

Failure to properly investigate Reporting inaccurate information Failure to validate disputed details ( dates ). I have made multiple attempts through phone, email, and formal disputes to obtain the exact date of first delinquency and the timeline of this alleged debt. To date, the company has failed to provide this required information. My dispute is not about who owns the debt. My dispute is about the accuracy of the reporting, specifically the failure to provide a verifiable and consistent Date of First Delinquency and a clear accounting of when the debt began. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, any information reported must be accurate and verifiable. If this account is scheduled to remain on my credit report until XXXX 2028, then the company must be able to clearly document and provide the exact date the delinquency began. They have failed to do so despite multiple requests.

I am disputing an inaccurate and unvalidated collection account reported by National Credit Systems Inc. ( NCS ) on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX. The dates being reported are contradictory and do not match my actual tenancy or my certified 60day notice to vacate. 1. False Delinquency Date Reported : XXXX is reporting a delinquency date of XX/XX/XXXX, even though I was never notified of any balance due, never received a final account statement, and had already submitted my certified 60day notice on XX/XX/XXXX. No delinquency occurred on that date. 2. XXXX Own Statement Contradicts the Reported Delinquency : After my dispute, XXXX sent me a notice stating : On XX/XX/XXXX, your NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEMS INC account was classified as a collection account and assigned to XXXX XXXX XXXX. This means XXXX is claiming the account did not even exist as a collection account until XX/XX/XXXX, which is 43 days AFTER the reported delinquency date of XX/XX/XXXX.

The address the original creditor claims the bill was attempted to be sent to is the same address we had already vacated, and therefore we were not properly notified before the account was referred to collections. Additionally, we have documentation showing that the property had significant habitability issues, including the roof caving in, and that it took numerous months for the matter to be addressed. These conditions materially affected the premises and are directly relevant to the alleged balance.
