I am filing a complaint because my financial institution failed to properly investigate a disputed transaction and came to an inaccurate conclusion that it was not fraud. I disputed a {$230.00} charge from XXXX XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX under Case No. XXXX. I discovered this fraudulent charge only after receiving a XXXX late notice, which was confusing because I was under the clear impression that the account had been closed in XX/XX/XXXX. I reported the issue immediately after receiving the late notice, yet the institutions employee delayed submitting the dispute for nearly a monthrepeatedly instructing me to call in and stalling the process. Despite these delays being entirely the institutions fault, they later denied the dispute, falsely claiming it was outside the XXXX window. The financial institution also concluded that the transaction was not fraud but provided no evidence whatsoever that I authorized it.…

I had a loan with the initial due date as XXXX. Due to me losing my job I was not able to make the payment. The loan was passed due for the XXXX payment. I was able to make a payment on XX/XX/XXXX. Due to the loan being in past due status it would not let me pick a payment to make, I was only given the option to just make a payment with my debit card. Once I made the payment the account updated showing I still hadn't made the XXXX payment, which is weird because usually when you are behind on an account the payment goes towards the past due balance, not a future payment. I contacted support and advised the rep that I need that payment to be applied to the past due balance which would stop the account from going into collections. I was told they could not refund the payment so that it can be applied to the payment that is 20 days past due. Instead he insisted that I make another payment by XX/XX/XXXX, which is a duplicate payment.…

The account reflects the following information : Balance : {$870.00} Remark : Account charged off {$870.00} written off {$870.00} past due as of XX/XX/2026 This reporting appears inconsistent and inaccurate. If the account has been charged off and written off, it should not continue to reflect a past-due balance of {$870.00}. Reporting a balance as both written off and still past due is contradictory and misleading, which does not comply with the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) requirement that information reported must be accurate and complete. Additionally, the continued reporting of this account as both charged off and actively past due is negatively impacting my credit profile.…

CFPB, I am submitting this complaint regarding Possible Finance and a remaining balance of {$14.00} on my account. While I understand this is a small balance, I am requesting that Possible Finance consider waiving this amount in the interest of fairness and administrative efficiency. Given the minimal balance, the cost and effort associated with continued collection activity likely exceeds the value of the remaining amount. I have made good-faith efforts regarding this account, and I am seeking to resolve this matter fully. Waiving the remaining {$14.00} would allow both parties to close the account promptly and avoid unnecessary time and resources being spent on such a nominal balance.

I started with a new App called Possible who offered short term lending. I was approved for a {$50.00} loan to be paid back in installments of XXXX every XXXX weeks which included the finance cost of {$18.00}. So $ XXXX {$21.00} every XXXX weeks for a total of {$63.00}. Which i agreed to. This wasn't the issue. The issue came when I went to make my payment within their App. The app although recognizing me through logging in stated that I had no open loans and asked if I would like to apply for XXXX. Since I did not recognize that I already had a loan with them, it would not accept or even give me the ability to make my payment. I tried everything I could think of. Calling the company didn't work, it sent me to a recorded message that said there was high call volume and to call later and then just disconnected the call. It didn't matter how many times I called back, what day I called or time. The results were always the same. Disconnection and no assistance.…

Please investigate and provide a resolution.
I am writing to formally request debt validation for a collection account mentioned in a letter I recently received. Under my rights through the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), I ask that your office provide clear proof that the debt is valid. This should include the name of the original creditor, the amount owed, a full payment record, and proof that I am responsible for this debt. I am making this request to ensure the information being reported is accurate and not the result of a mistake, fraud, or confusion. While waiting for proper validation, I ask that you pause all collection activity and reporting related to this account, as allowed by law.

I am filing this formal complaint against POSSIBLE FINANCIAL INC for violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2, regarding the reporting of inaccurate and unfair negative information on my credit profile. POSSIBLE FINANCIAL INC has reported 65 late payments on my account CYSFTNXXXXXX. However, POSSIBLE FINANCIAL INC failed to provide me with a Notice of Negative Information, as required by Section 623 ( a ) ( 7 ) of the FCRA. This federal law mandates that financial institutions must notify a consumer either before, or no later than 30 days after, furnishing negative information to a nationwide consumer reporting agency. Furthermore, I contend that the reporting of these late payments is inaccurate because I was not properly notified of the alleged delinquency or the bank 's intent to report such status to the bureaus. This lack of notice deprived me of my right to resolve any potential discrepancies before damage was done to my credit standing.…
