I borrowed {$1400.00} on XX/XX/XXXX and was given a schedule of $ XXXXand change to be debited form my account every two weeks u til paid off. Showing it would take approximately 1 year to pay off. I signed the loan agreement, my first payment was said amount and now the second payment they are debiting is {$420.00}! I would have never agreed to repay that as I can not repay that. And only {$10.00} of it goes to principle. I was NOT given a copy of my signed agreement, I can not access any signed payment agreement in the customer portal either.

Payday loan, title loan, personal loan, or advance loan· Problem when making paymentsFL

I obtained a {$750.00} installment loan from Willow Lake Lending in XX/XX/year>. Since origination, I have paid approximately {$3500.00} through scheduled debits ( 34 payments of {$100.00} ), yet the lender is still asserting a remaining balance of approximately {$580.00}. I am disputing the lenders payment practices and ongoing ACH withdrawals. Given the substantial amount already collected relative to the original principal, I have serious concerns about how payments have been applied and how the remaining balance has been calculated. I revoked ACH authorization and notified both the lender and my bank that no further electronic debits are authorized. I also opened a dispute with my bank and provided supporting documentation, including the loan agreement and payment-related records. Despite these actions, collection activity appears ongoing and the lender continues to claim a remaining balance.

I took out a {$3000.00} installment loan from Willow Lake Lending on XX/XX/year>. I later discovered that the loan requires XXXX payments of approximately {$1400.00} each, for a total repayment exceeding {$23000.00}, with an APR of approximately 580 %. At the time I entered into this agreement, I was recovering from a XXXX which significantly impaired my ability to read and understand complex documents. I continue to have difficulty reading and writing and rely on assistive tools such as text-to-speech and other XXXX. I did not fully understand or knowingly agree to these repayment terms. I have made XXXX payments totaling {$4300.00}, which exceeds the original loan amount. I believe this loan is predatory and unconscionable. The lender states the loan is governed by tribal law and includes provisions limiting legal action and requiring arbitration, which I believe restricts my ability to access normal legal protections.

I can work with this company, and I was so glad. But when I saw this XXXX, if I knew that, I would not have signed for the loan. And I told her you all are loan sharks.

I am a resident of Louisiana and am filing this complaint regarding account # XXXX with Three Sticks Lending. First, on [ XX/XX/year> ], I formally revoked my ACH/Electronic Payment Authorization in writing. The company acknowledged and confirmed this revocation on [ XX/XX/year> ], which I have attached as evidence. Despite this, I am concerned about potential unauthorized draft attempts under different entity names, which would violate XXXX XXXX XXXX. Second, I am formally disputing the validity and enforceability of this debt. The interest rate on this loan exceeds 400 % XXXX, which is significantly higher than the 45 % per annum limit for Criminal XXXX in Louisiana under LA Rev Stat 14:511. Furthermore, under LA Rev Stat 9:3557, lenders must be licensed by the Louisiana Office of Financial Institutions ( OFI ) to conduct business in the state. I believe this loan is void and unenforceable due to these state law violations.

Payday loan, title loan, personal loan, or advance loan· Getting the loanTX

Never applied with them, guessing another company sold my info. They sent me texts saying I was approved for {$1000.00}, give them a call, so I did. As soon as they answer, first thing they say is can I have your full social to pull up your account. I thought it was weird, so I said Im not comfortable, then they follow up and say whats your email then? ( Why not lead with this? ) gave them my emails, they cant find anything, although they sent messages to me. Then they proceeded to ask for full social again, so I gave it to them ( stupid decision ). Then they pull up account, dont say anything about the approval or anything. They go straight into asking me employer info and banking info. Once I connected my bank, they said, we cant help you, and hung up. This seems like fraud and a scam to me. If you look at reviews, EVERY ONE OF THEM ARE 1 stars.

I applied for this loan and they called and immediately asked for my social which was weird. I was in a desperate time and requested {$400.00} which I received and another one for {$160.00}. They charge fees of $ XXXX, and installments of {$40.00} each. I called XXXX weeks ago and the lady on the phone said that with my current payment schedule, I would have to make another " XXXX payments ''! They also said that there was no way to stop recurring billing, meaning I will have about {$120.00} deducted from my checking for the next XXXX weeks for a {$560.00} loan. I read that they may not be licensed in Florida and their interest rates may be illegal. Everything that I have read about this company is negative and many think they should not be able to operate anymore, which I 100 % agree. I am attempting to try to find a class action lawsuit and stop paying them.

XX/XX/XXXXwebsite sent me to a third party website that sent me an offer for {$2700.00} it didn't have the terms of the term only the amount. I wasn't aware of the 500 % interest rate on this loan. If I would have been aware from the beginning I would have never took the offer. Why would I want to pay {$13000.00} in interest payments for likes I an of {$2500.00}. It doesn't make sense. I didnt see that until after I made my first payment. Because there website didn't update until after I made my first payment.

I submitted my information and was told I needed to call them to confirm the loan. I called them and did the loan process. It came down to the bank info where I submitted my banking password and email to them because they stated they were having trouble connecting my bank account to their services that verify banks. I stupidly gave them my username and password for the bank. Even after this they said I was approved and the funds would be in my account later this evening or tomorrow morning. Around XXXXpm I got an email stating I was declined which really disappointed me as I was relying on and looking forward to this money so I did some research on the company and apparently this is something they have done with mostly everyone.

I am writing to report Willow Lake Lending for predatory lending practices involving XXXX # XXXX. The company is charging a 738.23 % APR on a {$300.00} principal, resulting in a total repayment of {$1600.00}. This lender is using a " XXXX XXXX '' model to intentionally evade state interest rate caps and consumer protection laws in Texas. The agreement mandates binding arbitration and claims sovereign immunity to prevent borrowers from seeking legal recourse in state or federal courts. I am concerned that this company is part of a " XXXX '' scheme where a third-party non-tribal entity is actually managing the loan operations while hiding behind tribal sovereign immunity to charge illegal interest rates. I request that the CFPB review this lenders practices and their compliance with the Consumer Financial Protection Act, specifically regarding unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts or practices ( UDAAP ).

I am a California resident and took out a {$1000.00} loan with Willow Lake Lending. The loan carries an APR of 738 %, with total repayment exceeding {$5300.00}. I believe this loan is predatory and not compliant with California lending laws. The lender is not clearly licensed in California and is attempting to enforce excessive interest and fees. I am requesting that this loan be reviewed, that my payments be applied to principal only, and that the account be marked paid in full if the principal has been satisfied. I am also requesting that the lender cease all further collection efforts and debits from my account.

After submitting my revocation, the company removed my bank account information from my profile. However, despite the revocation and removal of my banking details, My Quick Wallet processed a debit from my bank account in the amount of {$230.00} on XX/XX/year>. Under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act, once authorization for recurring electronic payments has been revoked, any further withdrawals are unauthorized. I have attempted to contact the company during their listed business hours but repeatedly receive an automated message stating that I am calling outside of business hours, making it impossible to speak with a representative.

I am a Massachusetts resident who took out a short-term installment loan online to cover unexpected expenses. I fully intended to repay the loan but I am now trapped in a cycle of debt due to the extremely high interest rate. I borrowed XXXX dollars on XX/XX/year>. The APR is 614.35 percent and I am scheduled to repay XXXX dollars over XXXX weekly payments. That is over XXXX dollars in interest and fees on a XXXX dollar loan. This lender is not licensed in Massachusetts. Massachusetts caps small loan interest rates at 23 percent APR. This loan exceeds that cap by an enormous margin. The lender claims tribal sovereign immunity to avoid Massachusetts consumer protection laws. I have already made XXXX weekly payments of XXXX dollars totaling XXXX dollars. Despite paying nearly XXXX dollars on a XXXX dollar loan the vast majority of that has gone toward interest rather than principal. The weekly payments are consuming a significant portion of my income and I am falling further behind.

In XX/XX/XXXX I filled out an application for a loan due to having cash flow issues with my business. Upon them reaching out by phone afterwards and seeing the terms of this loan I informed the gentleman that I would consider accepting the loan but I was very persistent that I wanted to make sure verbally that I was not accepting the loan for {$1200.00} due to the amount of interest due and having to put my banking information in the application. A day or so later I looked into my account and there was {$1200.00} deposited by them. I called them immediately upon doing so and the person I was talking to informed me that I could pay off the initial loan amount in full at any time so I did not panic as much after this reassurance ( and I would hope these conversations are all recorded ). So I also have accumulated XXXX in VIP points which it says XXXX dollar towards your principle as of XX/XX/XXXX.

Charged interest or feed not properly disclosed I obtained an installment loan from willow lake lending on XX/XX/XXXX2025 in the principal amount of {$1200.00}. At the time I entered into this agreements, the true total case of the loan and the manner in which payments would be applied were not clearly or understandably disclosed. ACH authorization for this loan was revoked in writing and the linked bank account was permanently closed. Despite this, Willow Lake Lending stated that a scheduled payment had already been sent for processing. I requested written confirmation that ACH authorization was revoked, a complete payment history, an itemized breakdown of how payments were applied, and a single accurate payoff statement. Instead, the company provided inconsistent payoff amounts and has not provided the requested documentation or written confirmation that further debits will not occur.

I obtained an online loan from XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. I received XXXX deposits of {$300.00} each on or about XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, for a total of {$600.00} in loan proceeds. Since receiving the loan, I have made payments as scheduled. On or about XX/XX/XXXX, the company withdrew {$140.00} from my bank account. On or about XX/XX/XXXX, the company withdrew an additional {$180.00}. In total, I have paid {$330.00} within approximately XXXX month. Despite these payments, XXXX continues to reflect a remaining balance of approximately {$580.00}. The payments made have not meaningfully reduced the principal balance and appear to be applied primarily to fees and interest. Based on these amounts and the short time period involved, the effective cost of credit is extremely high when annualized. I am not refusing to pay the loan. I am disputing the fairness, structure, and disclosure of the fees, interest, and payment application.
