I am filing a complaint regarding an auto loan that I believe was improperly structured by the dealership and not adequately addressed by the lender. The vehicle was financed in my name ; however, at the time of purchase, the dealership was aware that the vehicle was intended for another individual due to their inability to qualify for financing. I did not understand that structuring the loan this way could have legal or financial implications. I did not find this out until I asked another dealership if it was normal we have received yet another set of 30 day tags and no license plate. Additionally, all communication regarding the loan, including approval details, documentation, and transaction coordination, was conducted through this other individual rather than directly with me. He was told I did not need to be present and could complete paperwork remotely.…

This complaint raises an entirely independent cause of action regarding repossession procedure that was not addressed in any prior complaint or response filed against Professional Financial Services of South Carolina, LLC. It should not be treated as a continuation of previously closed matters. On XX/XX/year>, I made a payment of {$1000.00} on my vehicle loan. The following day, XX/XX/year>, while getting a haircut in XXXX, North Carolina, my vehicle was XXXX without any prior notice. Upon discovering the vehicle missing I was forced to arrange emergency transportation documented by an independent third-party XXXX receipt timestamped XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/year>, placing me in XXXX NC and confirming the vehicle was already gone at that time. PFS has claimed to the CFPB that the XXXX occurred on XX/XX/year> three days after the documented actual date. This claimed date is contradicted by two independent facts.…

I was given a loan from PFS bank, for XXXX $ I had the vehicle for XXXX year and made all my payments on time, then on XX/XX/XXXX, the truck was hit in a hit in run, I reported it to my insurance, who then had me take it to get an assessment which resulted in a total loss. The vehicle however only had cosmetic damage as the truck was still structurally and mechanicaly sound. With us just having our first child and it being our only vehicle, I decided to withdraw my claim from the insurance and keep the truck and continued to make payments to the lienholder. A couple months ago by and didn't really think about it at all until in the middle of XXXX, I came home to my truck gone, my first thought it was stolen or my landlord had it towed for some reason, after making some phone calls, come to find out the lienholder came and repossessed the truck with out any for knowledge, when asked why they told me that they don't finance totaled vehicles, and even when I tried to reason with them…
his lender furnished information to the credit bureaus that has resulted in a XXXXpoint decrease to my credit score. The information being reported does not accurately reflect the true status of my account and is misleading and incomplete. Specifically, the lender reported the account in a manner that fails to reflect my actual payment activity and added fees that do not represent the true balance history. This reporting creates a false and damaging representation of my credit profile. Under federal consumer protection requirements, furnishers are obligated to provide information that is accurate, complete, and not misleading. The information being reported by this lender fails to meet these standards. Because of this inaccurate reporting, I have suffered material harm to my credit standing.
I am filing a complaint regarding inaccurate and inconsistent credit reporting by Security Finance on my XXXX and XXXX credit reports. This account is a 9-month installment loan opened on XX/XX/XXXX with an original balance of {$540.00}. It now shows a {$0.00} balance, is closed, and is reported as paid or paying as agreed on both credit bureaus. However, both XXXX and XXXX continue to report 30-day and 60-day late payments on this same tradeline. In addition, the account is being reported inconsistently between the two credit bureaus. XXXX shows the balance updated as of XX/XX/XXXX, while XXXX shows the balance updated as of XX/XX/XXXX. Despite these different update dates, both bureaus still display the same late payment history, which raises serious concerns about the accuracy and reliability of the information being furnished. I previously disputed this account with the credit bureaus.…

This correspondence is in response to your letter denying responsibility for the undisclosed and unsafe conditions present in the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX : XXXX ) sold in XX/XX/XXXX. While I acknowledge that the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Contract was executed and that the vehicle was sold as-is, your position materially misstates Texas XXXX and mischaracterizes the conditions identified after delivery. An as-is sale does not permit the sale of an unsafe or unroadworthy vehicle, nor does it shield a dealer from liability arising from misrepresentation, omission of material facts, or violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act ( DTPA ). Specifically : The absence of rear brake pads is not a cosmetic issue, routine maintenance item, or normal wear and tear. Brakes are a primary safety system, and a vehicle sold without functional rear braking components is unsafe and unroadworthy at the time of sale.…

CFPB DISPUTE STATEMENT SECURITY FINANCE CORPORATION ACCOUNT Creditor : Security Finance Corporation Account Number : XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX / XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Credit Bureau Reporting Issue : XXXX ( and any other CRA reporting this tradeline ) I am filing this complaint because Security Finance Corporation and XXXX are reporting an account that contains multiple inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and unverifiable data, in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and Regulation V. The tradeline includes numerous contradictory and impossible details, including : Pay Status reported as Charge-off even though the account was closed on XX/XX/XXXX, more than XXXX years ago. Reported balance is {$480.00}, but the high balance history only shows {$370.00}, which is mathematically impossible and indicates inaccurate or manipulated data. I had a total loss accident on my Jeep in 2023 while insured through XXXX. I paid for XXXX insurance through my auto lender XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ). The entire total-loss process was handled in an irregular and harmful way that resulted in a false deficiency balance and credit damage. XXXX paid approximately {$26000.00} for the vehicle, but the value was far higher due to extensive upgrades and custom work that dramatically increased the value. I repeatedly told the lender and insurance company that the XXXX was worth significantly more and that I wanted to keep it or buy it back. I was told I was not allowed to remove anything from it and was never offered a buy-back option. The timeline of events shows this was handled for their financial benefit, not mine : The XXXX was declared a total loss based on airbag XXXX and an unfinished paint repair, not a full valuation of the vehicle or documentation of upgrades. I did not authorize removal of the XXXX before all bills were paid.…

I have been proactive in attempting to work with my loan company to lessen the payment of my car note payments. They are currently at {$710.00} per month. I have attempted to negotiate with them in which I was told that I had the option of paying up to half of the price of the vehicle and that I would qualify for a loan modification. This loan modification would extend the life of the loan but offer relief in my monthly payments making them less. This was told to me by XXXX at PFS auto in XXXX, XXXX. I then called to follow up to see if this was still available and I was told that this option was nonexistent. Prior to this I had expressed my concerns about the cost of my monthly payment because it was too expensive. I have tried to refinance with other banks only to be denied. I am filing this complaint because I was told that I had an option and completed that option and was later told that I would not qualify and that that option was unavailable.…
