I called Southwest Credit Systems XX/XX/XXXX to see if they could explain why they were continuing to open and close account. For the past 4 years, they have been reopening account once it expires on 2 years. This was the same company that I RECOGNIZED since XX/XX/XXXX. As of today, the account was REOPENED XX/XX/XXXX. When I spoke to representative from Southwest Credit Systems, she refused to tell me who was the original creditor was so I could verify with them the details. She continued to pry information ; when I clearly stated I didnt feel comfortable giving information when the details arent verified. After much research, I was able to find the original creditor XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX I called XXXX and asked them to verify debt. To Whom It May Concern, This letter serves as a formal follow-up to my previous Cease and Desist and Debt Validation Demand Letter regarding the above-referenced account. Despite my lawful demand made pursuant to 15 U.S.C. 1692g of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), your agency has failed to provide adequate legal validation of the alleged debt. Instead, you responded with a generic summary of charges or statement balance, which does not satisfy the federal requirements for debt validation. Your failure to provide the following constitutes noncompliance : 1. A copy of the original signed contract or agreement bearing my signature ; 2. A full chain of title including all assignments and transfers of the alleged debt ; 3. A bill of sale or purchase agreement proving legal ownership of the debt ; 4. Proof of licensing to collect debt in my state ; 2:16 debt Search 212 5.…
I am writing to formally request debt validation for a collection account mentioned in a letter I recently received. Under my rights through the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), I ask that your office provide clear proof that the debt is valid. This should include the name of the original creditor, the amount owed, a full payment record, and proof that I am responsible for this debt. I am making this request to ensure the information being reported is accurate and not the result of a mistake, fraud, or confusion. While waiting for proper validation, I ask that you pause all collection activity and reporting related to this account, as allowed by law.
On XX/XX/XXXX, I reviewed my credit report and found a collection account from Southwest Credit Systems XXXX for {$1000.00}, allegedly opened on XX/XX/XXXX. I have no knowledge of this debt, have never received an original invoice or contract, and do not recognize the " XXXX XXXX '' listed. I have disputed this multiple times through the credit bureaus, but the disputes were denied without the agency providing physical proof of the debt. Furthermore, the reporting is factually inaccurate under the FCRA ; the " Original Creditor '' is listed as " Southwest Credit Systems XXXX, '' which is a debt collection agency, not the original service provider. The account type is also left blank. Because the agency is reporting inaccurate information and has failed to validate the debt despite multiple requests, this trade line is in violation of federal reporting standards.
I discovered a phone bill account in collections on my credit report that I did not open or authorize. This account appears to have been opened and used by my deceased brother without my knowledge or permission. Around XX/XX/XXXX I contacted the company/collection agency to request verification of the debt, including any contracts, account records, and proof that I am responsible. The company has failed to provide sufficient documentation showing that I authorized or opened this account. I dispute this debt and do not accept responsibility for it. I am requesting a full investigation, removal of this account from my credit report, and written confirmation that I am not liable for this debt.

I am formally disputing the account reported by Southwest Credit Systems LP as inaccurate and unverified. This account, showing a balance of {$430.00}, is not recognized, and I have not received any prior validation or documentation supporting this alleged debt. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), including 15 U.S.C. 1681e ( b ), credit reporting agencies are required to ensure maximum possible accuracy, and under 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( b ), furnishers must conduct a reasonable investigation and correct or delete any inaccurate or unverifiable information. Additionally, pursuant to 15 U.S.C. 1681i, all disputed information must be properly reinvestigated. This account appears to be reported in violation of these requirements. I am requesting a full investigation and demanding immediate deletion if the furnisher can not provide competent evidence of the debt, including proof of ownership, the original signed agreement, and a complete account history.
A collection account from Southwest Credit Systems LP is currently being reported on my credit report associated with XXXX XXXX XXXX, account XXXX XXXX I do not recognize this alleged debt and have no knowledge of what this account could possibly be for. Prior to this account appearing on my credit report, I never received any initial notice or written communication from this company regarding the alleged debt. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, a consumer must receive written notice of a debt and the right to dispute it. Because I never received this notice and do not recognize this account, I requested proper validation of the alleged debt multiple times. A collection account is appearing on my credit report that has not been properly validated. I exercised my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) by requesting verification of the alleged debt. The creditor or collection agency has failed to provide any legitimate documentation demonstrating that the debt belongs to me, that the amount is correct, or that they have the legal authority to collect it. Despite this lack of verification, the account continues to be reported on my credit file. This is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), which requires that only accurate and verifiable information be reported. Reporting an unvalidated account is both inaccurate and misleading.
Complaint Against : SouthwestCredit Systems, L.P. Issue : Credit Reporting / Improper Handling of Paid Collection Account I am filing this complaint regarding SouthwestCredit Systems, L.P. and their reporting of a collection account on my credit file. On XX/XX/year>, I paid this account in full. At the time of payment, I was informed that the account would be submitted for deletion from all credit bureaus within approximately 60 days. I disputed an alleged debt with Southwest Credit Systems appearing on XXXX Credit Report. Despite the account being disputed, Southwest Credit Systems transferred or sold the account to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX without resolving the dispute. Southwest Credit Systems was asked to validate the debt and did not provide me with the requested information. Both Southwest Credit Systems and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX are now reporting the same alleged debt on my credit reports. Reporting the same debt with conflicting balances and delinquency dates indicates that inaccurate information is being furnished to the credit bureaus and raises concerns about potential re-aging of the account. Please investigate and please encourage debt collector to remove unverifiable reporting.

This debt collector has done unjustifiable practices of the FDCPA which it prohibits. They furnished this account that we didn't agree upon and I didn't sign an agreement on. A legal contract is signed by two parties and I did not participate in any of it. they didn't follow the proper 5-step validation procedure. According to the FDCPA, Im entitled to compensation for these violations and clearly, they violated my rights and abused my privileges. I demand this account be taken off immediately. This is very stressful as I am currently unemployed and technically homeless. I am taking all proper measures to correct my line of credit so that I can feel some sort of clarity in my financial situation.
