I am disputing the Sunbit/XXXX Bank account being reported on my credit file. Sunbit has not provided any proof of my written authorization, itemized billing, or documentation showing the validity of this account. Under FCRA 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), furnishers may not report inaccurate or unverified information. SunbitXXXX Bank has failed to validate the account or provide supporting documentation. I am requesting removal of this account if they can not verify it.

I agreed to pay whatever my insurance didnt cover out of pocket. They immediately set me up with SunBit for a 3rd party loan as well as taking a {$180.00} deposit. I agreed and signed on the paperwork. They did the work on half my mouth. On XX/XX/XXXX I called the dental office explain to them I no longer wanted half the services I needed the loan canceled and my bill adjusted. They claimed they would call me. They never did. SunBit refused to cancel without the merchant submitting paperwork. On XX/XX/XXXX I visited the dental office to get the second half of my cleaning done. I was in a lot of pain and they said it was normal.

The agent that I spoke to said that this was regarding an XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card. The payment requested was {$50.00}, but the agent said that there was about {$1700.00} charged to the card. The card was opened in my maiden name and using my mailing address, but used a fabricated phone number and email address. The agent said that everything was paperless, which was why I never received a bill until the past due notice was sent.

Sunbit initially approved me for a loan and requested that I submit additional documentation to complete the process. Sunbit through XXXX XXXX approved a credit card with an initial credit limit of {$2300.00}. The card was received but I was unable to activate the card, however, was able to download it via online. The card was reported to the three credit bureaus and closed immediately. Sunbit advised that they could not give any reason for closing the account, but they would send a written explanation. Numerous calls were made, verbal questions were asked and were answered. They never sent anything in writing, nor gave a verbal explanation. One lady said that an explanation was emailed to me, so I asked her to resend the email to me via email, and she put me on hold, came back to the phone and then stated that she's sorry it was not emailed to me.

I am filing this complaint regarding Sunbits handling of unauthorized activity on my account. On or about XX/XX/year>, I reported unauthorized charges on my Sunbit account. I was informed that the issue had been logged and that my card would be replaced. Despite this representation, no investigation appears to have been documented. The unauthorized balance remains on my account, and as of late XX/XX/year>, Sunbit continues to report that I owe a large balance that I did not authorize or incur. I have attempted to follow up multiple times since XX/XX/year>, but Sunbit has not responded to my calls or resolved the dispute. Sunbits failure to properly document, investigate, and resolve reported unauthorized activity while continuing to report the balance is inaccurate and harmful.

On XX/XX/year>, I again formally requested cancellation and a refund for the trays, explaining that the trays were optional, misrepresented, and never received. I contacted Sunbit requesting my signed financing agreement, proof of delivery, and cancellation of the loan due to non-delivery and misrepresentation.

In XXXX of last year my daughter went to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for a consultation on retainer. She paid up front for the consultation and used my name and XXXX to apply for a loan to cover the retainer. The payments for the loan were to start when the retainer was delivered. She changed her mind the next day and cancelled the order. The retainer was never made or delivered, but my information was sent to Sunbit ( the loan provider ) and automatic payments were taken from her bank account. XXXX payments of {$190.00} were withdrawn before she realized and she blocked the card and requested her money be re-imbursed. Sunbit refused and said the XXXX office must send them a zero-balance invoice before the loan can be cancelled. Numerous calls have been made to the dentist with no resolution. In the meantime, my credit has been hit from XXXX to XXXX. The dentist agreed a mistake was made but that they do not have the power to correct it...

I called the Sunbit Customer service number tonight XX/XX/year> ( XXXX ) to troubleshoot my Credit Card available balance which turned out to be {$150.00}. This agent from an XXXX company stated my card was blocked and I needed to verify my information. SHE MADE ME VERIFY EVERY ITEM ON MY CREDIT REPORT : Last XXXX addresses, profession, social security number, telephone numbers. This aged in a foreign country should not have access to my CREDIT REPORT, I already have the card so this is illegal. This is how people 's ID get STOLEN. After all this verification, she still would not release the HOLD on my card. I told her that no other credit card company HAS EVER asked me to verify information on my credit report? I've been paying on the card for XXXX YEAR!!!!

Despite the payoff, Sunbit continued initiating withdrawals from my XXXX XXXX XXXX checking account beginning in XX/XX/XXXX. I was charged again in XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX, I disputed a Sunbit charge with XXXX XXXX XXXX. The bank investigated and issued permanent credit, confirming the charge was unauthorized. Despite this outcome, Sunbit initiated a new withdrawal on XX/XX/XXXX. This withdrawal occurred after authorization was revoked and after the dispute was resolved. My bank issued a new debit card and attempted transaction blocks, indicating these withdrawals are ACH-based. During the original approval process, the dealership used my parents Social Security numbers to obtain approval, raising serious concerns regarding borrower identity and authorization.

However, when I called to speak with the billing department to tell them my story, I was passed back and forth by the receptionist and left on hold until the phone was disconnected. I would love to see you try to speak with someone in their billing department at ( XXXX ) XXXX. I went to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to have my XXXX XXXX XXXX repaired on XX/XX/XXXX. I sat in there all day. 2 weeks later my car started stalling out when I turned it on, requiring me to crank the engine multiple times before it started and the car would just shut off while I was driving. I called the service department and scheduled a time to come back to fix my car the following week. Before I could take my car back the car completely died. I needed a car immediately and didnt trust XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX would/could fix my car so I had to purchase another car quickly.

On XX/XX/XXXX, Friday, they requested verification of my credit card account. They asked for my driver 's license and social security card, both front and back, a picture of my driver 's license next to my face, and recent utility bills and bank statements from which I make my payments. Then I let them know I dont have a utility bill, only my mother 's name. I dont have a car, so I don't have car insurance or a mortgage. On XX/XX/XXXX, Monday, I contacted Sunbit to see if they had my documents. I sent them on Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX. One representative stated I need to send over my bank statement again, but make sure they can see all four corners. The representative said that since I dont have utility bills in my name, I can send my government benefit letter that I just received for my XXXX Benefits.

I am filing this complaint regarding SUNBIT ( also reporting as TAB/SUNBIT ) because the account they are reporting on my credit file does not belong to me, was never opened or authorized by me, and is the result of identity theft. I have already filed an FTC Identity Theft Report, notified SUNBIT of the fraud, and disputed the account with the credit bureaus. Despite this, SUNBIT continues to report the account as a collection/charge-off and has refused to delete it, even though they have not provided any original documentation proving that I opened or agreed to this account. This complaint is necessary because XXXX actions violate the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), and federal identity theft protections. I am requesting that all interest and finance charges be removed from this loan and that the balance be adjusted to the original dental charge only. I was rushed into signing at the dental office and was told the financing was no interest with easy payments. I was not clearly informed of the APR, finance charges, or that the total repayment would exceed {$9000.00} on a {$5600.00} charge. I believe this loan involves violations of the Truth in Lending Act ( TILA ) and Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices ( UDAP ). I was rushed into signing the financing at the dental office and was told it was no interest with easy payments. I was not clearly informed of the APR, finance charges, or that the total repayment would exceed {$9000.00} on a {$5600.00} dental charge. A fair resolution would be removal of all interest and finance charges, re-amortization of the loan to the original principal only, or conversion to a true no-interest payment plan.

Sunbit credit card said that their policy regarding a credit balance is to issue a refund in the time frame of 30-90 days after the customer requests it ( a different agent said 30-90 days from receipt of the refund to the credit card ). I phoned them twice, emailed them twice and phoned again in an attempt to get this process expedited. On XX/XX/XXXX the amount of {$3400.00} was deposited into my account by the XXXX visa service. I can not spend this money from the card because the account is closed. I feel like they are holding my money hostage and this is not fair. I first called them in XXXX - sorry I don't have the exact date. Then I called after XX/XX/XXXX, thinking I was in the 30 day window and may have success. I emailed them XX/XX/XXXX and again XX/XX/XXXX. In their response on XX/XX/XXXX they asked me to call their customer service team which I did and spoke to XXXX.

I applied and was approved for an XXXX credit card from Sunbit. I was using said card and had zero issue when the charges were under {$100.00}. The second I attempted a charge over {$100.00} they flagged my account for fraud, restricted my card and demanded a copy of my signed social security card, ( which a social security officer stated should never be done ) my bank statement ( which my bank account was already linked for payments ) a utility bill, a photo of my license front and back as well as a selfie with my license. They did not inform me anything was wrong I had to reach out and ask. They refuse to unblock my card unless I give them a photo of my signed social security card. I have asked why this wasnt required prior to the application that did a hard hit to my credit report and they wont answer. I have asked why they need the information and they said because the XXXX department wants it.

Sunbit APPROVED this request and sent me an email confirming : Scheduled Due Date : XX/XX/XXXX ; Amount : {$100.00} ; Will be charged on XX/XX/XXXX. I have all email records. Later in XXXX I contacted Sunbit again and asked for the payment to be moved to the end of the month instead. Sunbit approved this second request and moved my due date to XX/XX/XXXX, with the amount STILL {$100.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX, I paid {$100.00}, which matched the modified due date and amount Sunbit approved. However, despite Sunbit approving the new payment date and amount, the company later claimed this payment was past due and outside their XXXX timeframe, even though they themselves changed the date to XX/XX/XXXX.
