However, XXXX XXXX XXXX representatives repeatedly told me by phone and email not to worry and to ignore those notices because they were automatic system-generated messages. Now, to my surprise, in XX/XX/XXXX, I am being contacted by a collection agency regarding a debt that I do not owe. I am filing a complaint regarding inaccurate and unverified debt reporting. I contacted Sunrise Credit Services to request validation of an account they are reporting under my name. Despite providing identifying information, the company has not been able to properly validate the account or provide documentation proving the debt is accurate and belongs to me. Instead of providing validation, Sunrise Credit Services has repeatedly requested additional information from me, without first verifying or substantiating the debt they are reporting. Additionally, XXXX XXXX XXXX informed me at the time of my final bill review that no balance was due on the account. Based on that information, I understood the account to be settled with no outstanding amount owed. As of today, Sunrise Credit Services has not provided proper validation or supporting documentation, yet the account continues to be reported on my credit file.…

This debt collector has done unjustifiable practices of the FDCPA which it prohibits. They furnished this account that we didn't agree upon and I didn't sign an agreement on. A legal contract is signed by two parties and I did not participate in any of it. they didn't follow the proper 5-step validation procedure. According to the FDCPA, Im entitled to compensation for these violations and clearly, they violated my rights and abused my privileges. I demand this account be taken off immediately. This has caused me mental stress and anxiety.

XXXX charged me for a early termination of {$200.00}. I asked them not to do to me having to move abruptly. I was with them for 15 years but the minute I could not keep them because the place I moved had move to had another agreement with a different company. I could not keep both. So the agreement on XX/XX/year> was for them to waive the last {$100.00}. During that time I requested a letter stating the {$100.00} was waived and they never sent it. Fast forward I am now in collections with sunshine credit attempting to charge the last {$100.00} XXXX lied about. Not only that the debt collector as re-aged the debt to reflect missed payments from XX/XX/year> ( complete fabrication ). Because my last payment was XX/XX/year> so how are they able to place a debt before it even happened?
I am disputing a XXXX account that was sent to collections while an active billing dispute remained unresolved. My account accumulated charges totaling approximately {$800.00}, including repeated $ 100 monthly data overage fees and returned payment fees. I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve the account, including submitting payments and contacting XXXX through customer service and Executive Relations. I filed an FCC complaint ( File # XXXX ) after XXXX failed to address my concerns. Comcasts response did not address the disputed charges and instead provided a generic billing summary without validating the accuracy of the fees or resolving the issue. I specifically requested a full itemized breakdown of charges, clarification of data overage fees, and written communication regarding resolution. XXXX did not provide a meaningful response and continued to send duplicate, non-substantive communications.…

I am filing this complaint against XXXX and Sunrise Credit Services for deceptive collection practices and harassment. For months, they chased me down for " unreturned equipment. '' I originally sent the equipment back in XX/XX/year> and it came back to me returned. After it was returned to me I resent it and this time kept the shipping information. After repeated attempts at collecting on the equipment I provided a XXXX receipt ( Tracking : XXXX ) proving the equipment was delivered and signed for by " XXXX '' on XX/XX/year>. Only AFTER I provided this proof did Sunrise suddenly switch their story to a {$93.00} service bill that was never once mentioned during the entire collection process. On XX/XX/year> between approximately XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX, I spoke with a representative from Sunrise Credit Services regarding an account I do not recognize. I clearly stated that this account is not mine and is the result of identity theft. During the call, I requested full debt validation and a fraud/identity theft packet. The representative initially refused to provide this and stated he would not complete a fraud packet on a recorded line. He also instructed me to contact XXXX XXXX XXXX and implied that my refusal to do so meant the account was mine, which is false and misleading. I explained that I have never had an account with XXXX XXXX XXXX and that I was disputing the account directly with Sunrise Credit Services. I am filing a complaint against several debt collection agencies for what appears to be ongoing violations of federal consumer protection laws. After formally disputing the alleged debts and requesting proper validation, the companies did not provide sufficient proof that I am legally responsible for these accounts. They failed to produce key documents such as original agreements, ownership records, account histories, or evidence of their authority to collect. Despite this, collection efforts and credit reporting activity may have continued without proper verification. This raises concerns about potential violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, including failure to validate debts and use of misleading or unfair practices, as well as the Fair Credit Reporting Act, particularly regarding the accuracy and investigation of reported information.…
