We are submitting a second complaint due to the lies and illegal result of the first. FULL scenario included : FIRST COMPLAINT- Submitted XXXX : In XX/XX/XXXX, my husband and I formally disputed a rent charge with our apartment complex after multiple hazardous structural collapses occurred within our unit, causing minor injuries. These incidents were promptly reported to both onsite management and regional management. Despite repeated reports and follow-up communications, management failed to take appropriate corrective action or meaningfully respond to the safety concerns. Instead, the matter was repeatedly redirected to hourly staff who lacked the authority to investigate or remedy the structural hazards. Senior regional management also failed to address the issue despite direct communication. Management represented on multiple occasions that the conditions had been repaired ; however, additional collapses subsequently occurred, confirming that the hazards had not been remedied.

I never received anything but a bill from the company trying to collect. After reviewing the 3 online bureaus I wrote a letter stating that the date delinquent was incorrect, the amount was incorrect, I never received any details of the charges, I never received a payment plan, I asked the collector to provide this information and haven't heard from them. The collection agencies all sent the same computerized response that they looked into it and verified that it is accurate. This is a joint debt. The joint debtor sent the same information and got the same responses.

After explaining my situation more in depth to the first representative I spoke with, whose name I did not get, she explained that there was a hardship program and that she would take my information down for it. She took all of my information and asked about my taxes, i informed her i was not getting anything back this year. She the said she would transfer me to her supervisor. I respectfully request that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau investigate a matter involving a debt collection company called IQ Data International. This company is reporting a collection account to all of the credit bureaus under both my name and my fathers name for an alleged apartment debt that we do not owe. The company contacted my father unexpectedly and demanded his credit card information and payment for this supposed debt. When he told them he did not recognize the debt and requested a verification letter, they refused to provide one. During the call, the representatives were aggressive, made threats toward us, and eventually hung up after a prolonged and hostile conversation. This behavior was extremely concerning. Despite their refusal, my father sent a certified letter requesting written verification of the alleged debt. To date, we have not received any proper documentation proving that this debt is valid.

I am disputing this debt because I am not legally responsible for the charges being reported. I properly vacated the apartment and provided notice to the leasing office. However, I no longer have access to the email used at that time. The apartment complex is incorrectly claiming I did not provide notice and is charging me fees that are not valid. Additionally, the collection agency ( IQ Data XXXX ) has refused to provide any documentation or itemized validation of the charges when requested. They stated they are unable to send any validation due to the age/statute of the account, yet they continue to report this debt on my credit. This is a violation of my rights under the FDCPA and FCRA, as a debt must be verifiable and accurate in order to be reported and collected. I am requesting that this account be investigated and removed from my credit report if it can not be properly validated.

I am submitting this complaint because multiple debt collection agencies appear to be engaging in a pattern of unlawful debt collection practices and inaccurate credit reporting in violation of the FDCPA and FCRA. After I formally disputed the alleged debts and requested validation under 15 U.S.C. 1692g, the companies failed to provide legally sufficient documentation proving I have any contractual or legal obligation, including a signed agreement, full chain of title, bill of sale or assignment, complete account balance, and proof of their authority to collect. Despite this, they continue collection efforts and/or report information to credit bureaus without verifying its accuracy. This conduct may constitute willful noncompliance with federal law, including violations of the FDCPA ( 15 U.S.C. 1692g, 1692e, 1692f, 1692c ) and the FCRA ( 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2, 1681e ( b ), 1681i ).

I am disputing a collection account reported by IQ Data International in the amount of {$1500.00} related to a former apartment lease. This account is inaccurate and appears to be based on inconsistent and unverifiable information. My lease ended on XX/XX/year>, and I vacated the unit and returned possession on that date. However, the account is being reported with a different move out timeline, including a XX/XX/year> date, which does not align with my lease or actual move out. The property previously demonstrated inaccurate record keeping when it initially recorded an incorrect move in date and attempted to charge me prorated rent based on that error. Although this issue was later corrected, it establishes a pattern of inconsistent record keeping. Additionally, the property acknowledged that my move out date needed to be corrected and stated that a revised move out statement would be issued.
