REJECTION OF COMPANY RESPONSE & NOTICE OF MULTI-AGENCY ESCALATION I formally reject the response provided by TomoCredit Inc. as fundamentally non-responsive, legally deficient, and submitted in bad faith. For the second time, the company has issued an automated, copy-pasted template from representative " XXXX '' XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXXXXXX XXXX demonstrating a willful refusal to engage in the regulatory dispute process or address the specific material facts of this complaint. TomoCredit continues to falsely shield itself behind a " non-refundable '' policy clause. As a matter of established consumer protection law, a non-refundable clause is predicated on the merchant actually delivering the agreed-upon service. In this instance, I did not request a cancellation of service ; I requested a clerical correction to an application package. In response, TomoCredit unilaterally terminated the application process and closed the account of their own volition.

When I signed up for a service with TomoCredit ( TomoBoost ), I was under the impression that when I paid the monthly subscription fee I would be given access immediately to a {$1000.00} credit limit. When I tried to access this credit limit, I was informed that I must sign up for a higher priced tier to gain access. When I tried to cancel the services the merchant would only let me schedule a call which would not take place until XXXX of this year. Unhappy with the result, I reached out to the merchant at their email address help@tomocredit.com. I submitted several emails asking the merchant to cancel my subscription, which they only have replied with customer canned responses and not addressing my request to cancel services. The last email reply that I have sent, I did let the merchant know I work for a well known credit card company and if the cancellation is not confirmed by XX/XX/year> I will be escalating this matter with my employer.

It's the same thing all the time. So it was like a robot emailing like an AI. Just doing it, it's not a human. I applied for the Tomo credit card and paid a {$300.00} enrollment fee. I was later denied, and I never received a credit card or access to a usable account. The company stated that the card was paused or closed due to internal system updates. Because the credit card was never issued and the service was never provided, I contacted Tomo to request an explanation and a refund of the {$300.00} fee. The company responded but did not explain the denial and refused to issue a refund. I am requesting a full refund of the {$300.00} for a credit card service that was never issued or provided.

Firstly the advertisement via a XXXX link was completely misleading, this company is hiding behind every legal firewall there is. The advert stated clear as day, credit line of {$30000.00}. There is no option on their website to cancel their membership, they soft lock me onto a page that says I need to schedule a phone call with them ( {$120.00} phone call they are advertising as discounted for {$0.00} ... because talking to them on the phone is the utmost privilege I will have in my life ) and then when I attempt to schedule a phone call it is 'booked up ' XXXX months. They will not answer emails, I can not remove a payment method, and can not delete account and data on my own.

This complaint concerns TomoBoosts failure to provide services as advertised and billed, followed by a response that deliberately avoided addressing non-performance and consumer harm. TomoBoost billed me {$79.00} per month for approximately 12 months ( {$1300.00} total ) for a service explicitly marketed and sold as a credit-reporting product. No credit reporting was ever performed to any consumer reporting agency during the entire billing period. I paid for a service that was never rendered. In response to my prior CFPB complaint, TomoBoost did not dispute the lack of reporting, did not explain why reporting never occurred, and did not provide proof that any services were delivered. Instead, the company relied solely on a generic non-refundable clause to deny reimbursement, while avoiding all substantive questions regarding non-performance, continued billing, and failure to notify the consumer.

On XX/XX/year> I paid a membership fee of XXXX with tomocredit. With that they promised a few things including a {$1000.00} credit line. I will attach the details. However I noticed that I received NO communication in regards to the credit line. I realized that this company used deceptive practices just to have you pay for a membership which means i WONT be getting a credit line. False advertising and very shady. I've been sending emails since yesterday and NOONE has responded. Very unprofessional. So now im ready to cancel... however they make it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel. In order to cancel you have to schedule a cancel consultation call but NO TIMES FOR THREE MONTHS are available which means they are purposely making it hard to cancel which is a VERY shady and deceptive practice. I need them to cancel asap and not to ever charge me. I will also report this to my credit card company. Below is attached screenshot of the cancelation page and the dates that arent available.

Throughout this entire billing period, TomoBoost failed to report any activity to my credit reports, despite the service being advertised, sold, and billed specifically as a credit-reporting product. I've asked this company who i have no relationship with to stop sending me spam texts. I filed a XXXX complaint, XXXX responded with a vague answer claiming that he already responded. I never seen a response hence why, still after filing a complaint i was sent another scam text about credit. His response is : Dear there, Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. We take these matters very seriously and appreciate the opportunity to address them. Upon reviewing your account, we can confirm that your request has been processed. Tomocredit advised it would report an excellent credit history with a credit line after months the report never was ever on my report and when I tired to cancel on numerous times it completely ignored my request and never closed the account they continued to bill me and when I asked again to close it they said I needed to pay for again when I requested the account to be closed when I paid the month I requested the account to pay I contacted their customer service where they advised I would not be able to open another in the future when I have a balance due to their non compliance I am now XXXX past due which is inaccurate when the month I requested the account to be closed they had received the payment so now my account is being flagged for non payment when this is completely inaccurate I am requesting an internal investigation on this company that many people are being billed and can not cancel and they continue to bill you when you dont owe them and refuse to cancel your membership

I am a Massachusetts consumer attempting to cancel a paid TomoBoost account with Tomo ( financial services / credit-building platform ). I clearly and repeatedly requested cancellation beginning on XX/XX/2025. Despite multiple written requests, Tomo has refused to cancel my account and has instead repeatedly sent marketing and retention messages attempting to discourage cancellation. These messages included claims that cancellation could harm my credit score and offers of a free 30-day extension, rather than honoring my explicit request to close the account. I responded clearly and unambiguously multiple times that I did not wish to continue the service and that I wanted the account canceled immediately. Tomo did not process the cancellation and continued to push promotional messaging instead. This has created unnecessary delay, confusion, and pressure, and has prevented me from exercising my right to stop a recurring financial service.

I have reached out to the help desk at TomoBoost via email due to the fact that there was no contact information given on the last complaint I filled ( XXXX ). I am unable to reach " XXXX '' or whomever is over the helpdesk to resolve my issue. I have paid {$300.00} for a service I feel like i was not given. I am unable to access the help page on Tomocredit to restart my subscription ( because they have suspended my account ). I paid {$300.00} and the other level tiers do not offer what I paid for. So if i have to keep the subscription for a year, I would like to have my account unfrozen or have my account fully refunded because I am out {$300.00}. I would like a physical number to reach out to someone or receive a partial refund.

So I repaid why the dispute was going on. They deactivated it again and said because of the dispute. So I cancelled the dispute and they still havent fixed my account. Now I paid them XXXX dollars 2 times and they are not providing my service. And they dont answer. All they have is a help desk ticket to contact them. I am a XXXX veteran on a limited budget. All they need to do is reactivate my account and provide what I paid for. I dont want to cancel my account. I want my account fixed

I am trying to do credit repair and was told that Tomocredit would provide a credit card up to $ XXXX for those who pay the VIP and they have not done anything with my account. I requested a refund and to cancel my account they removed me from the VIP and did not give a refund. I have asked to reach out to someone and even tried getting on to schedule a call through their webpage, but they don't have any availability through XXXX to talk to an actual human.I purchased this back around XX/XX/year> and felt like nothing had been done compared to other companies that I subscribe to that helps with reporting and fixing my profile. After a few days I felt that something was off and after reading other horror stories from other users who had issues with Tomocredit, I feel like I have been fraud and tricked out of mymoney.

This complaint is about TomoCredit ( Tomo Card ) and its issuing bank, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was approved for the Tomo Card while living in New York and used it mostly while living in North Carolina. I always paid on time and chose this product because Tomo repeatedly said in its marketing and in emails that the card would be reported to all three major credit bureaus and help build my credit. When Tomo later paused or closed the cards for system updates, multiple representatives told me in writing that although the card was closed for the foreseeable future, my credit reporting would continue as usual and that I would still be able to build credit without using the card. Despite those promises, my Tomo tradeline has never appeared ( or disappeared ) from my XXXX XXXX and XXXX reports. In XX/XX/year> I contacted Tomo because they were treating me as late after I had changed bank accounts and warned them in advance.

They have refused to get back with me after some time and never did anything to resolve the issue. I have several emails dating from XX/XX/year> to now of failed responses. All this time later and they still have not done anything to reach out to me or get this issue resolved. They even reported to my bureau and I had to pay {$2000.00} to get it off. I have several documentations/proof of these fraud charges I will try and attach. You can see my attempts to reach out to someone, but all I get is their robot. Their number never worked for me back then and I would always be rerouted to an automated email. Ive reported this company to consumer finance multiple times and each time tomorrow credit responds they say the issue is resolved. I reached out recently again and they say its resolved. I was charged another {$25.00} yesterday!!!! Tomorrow credit has charged me {$25.00} weekly for months for a service or debt that I do not use!!!! I cant even log into my tomo credit account anymore. They just continue to charge me over and over. Even when they say the issue is resolved. This needs to be fixed immediately. I want a refund of all the charges. It has been over a year. On XX/XX/XXXX I applied for a service called TOMO credit in hopes of boosting my credit profile. I paid {$300.00} for a VIP package that's suppose to report to all three credit bureaus on my behalf. Since then this company has not reported to any of the bureaus and I'm suspecting fraud and false advertising on their behalf. On three different occasions ( XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX ) i asked the same question " Why isn't Tomo reported '' i was sent a automated response instructing me to like my bank account through plaid. Since linking the account the company is still not reporting and at this point I am requesting a refund.

Tomo credit committed fraud by allowing a charge to my credit card I did not authorize. They then refused to cancel whatever it is their service is, continued to add products to be charged, and even keep deleting my requests to cancel immediately, as it is fraud. They have not responded at all to my requests, only saying I can not cancel without a phone chat first that is not even available.

I was prompted by their company to pay for a subscription to increase my chances of getting a loan. After I paid for the subscription, they let me know that I would have to pay {$1000.00} for the loan via another subscription. Pure scams. I have asked 4 times to cancel my membership and they won't. They keep trying to schedule a call for almost next year to cancel my subscription. I revoked access to my debit card, they won't honor it. It is a mess. They need to be shut down and sued!

I enrolled in TomoBoosts credit-building service approximately 24 months ago, beginning in XXXX, XXXX. But my account has been deactivated for 2 months while i have tried to contact tomoboost to rectify this issue ( 22 months have been billed ). The company advertises that, for a monthly fee of {$80.00}, it will report bill payments to the credit bureaus to help customers build credit history. Since enrollment, I have paid a total of {$1700.00} to TomoBoost. However, TomoBoost has failed to provide the services promised : Only 4 of my bill payments were ever recorded in my TomoBoost dashboard since XX/XX/XXXX. None of the data from my account has been reported to the credit bureaus. My credit reports show no trade line, no payment history, no credit limit, and no credit age associated with TomoBoost. I relied on this service for credit-building purposes, and as a result of their failure to report, I have suffered financial harm and lost credit opportunities.

Every month since XX/XX/XXXX, I have paid {$44.00} premium to Tomo Boost. To elevate my credit score to a base of XXXX available credit through their portal. They are supposed to report to XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. The only bureau picking this up is XXXX. I have repeatedly complained about this and brought it to their attention. Always getting the same response, wait 45-90 days, and it will show. It has never shown on the other bureaus. My credit score did not improve at all with this. I gave more than adequate time for results. Total payments : {$940.00}. The company 's actions have been unsuccessful. No improvement has occurred in my credit score, and no updates have been made to the outstanding bureaus. Not only this, but I was NEVER notified, even after multiple attempts, that they were prohibited from reporting to the credit bureaus due to multiple complaints and fraud.
