I am filing this complaint against TrueAccord regarding a collection account being reported on my credit file. At this time, the account is being reported as a collection/charge-off ; however, without proper validation, this reporting is premature and potentially inaccurate. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), I have the right to request proper validation of this debt. Until such validation is provided, this account should not be reported as verified or accurate. If TrueAccord is unable to provide complete and verifiable documentation, I am requesting the immediate deletion of this account from all credit reporting agencies. This matter is causing harm to my credit profile and must be addressed promptly.

Debt collection· Attempts to collect debt not owedFL

I am filing a complaint against multiple debt collection agencies for engaging in unlawful collection practices and credit reporting violations under the FDCPA and FCRA. After disputing the alleged debts and requesting validation under 15 U.S.C. 1692g, the companies failed to provide sufficient documentation proving I owe the debts, such as signed agreements, chain-of-title records, ownership proof, or a full account breakdown. Despite this, they continue collection efforts and may be reporting unverified information to credit bureaus. These actions potentially violate several provisions of federal law, including failures to validate debts, misleading representations, unfair practices, improper collection activity, and inaccurate credit reporting. Overall, their conduct suggests a pattern of attempting to collect debts without proper documentation while furnishing potentially inaccurate information, which may expose them to legal liability.

To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting a formal complaint regarding repeated debt collection attempts by TrueAccord for accounts that do not belong to me. Within a XXXXXXXXweek period, I received multiple communications from this company, each referencing different alleged accounts. I have never held any of these accounts and do not owe these debts. Additionally, at least XXXX of these accounts is associated with an address in XXXX XXXX, California, which is not mine and where I have never resided. This clearly indicates that the company is relying on inaccurate information and has misidentified me as the debtor. I have reviewed my credit reports and confirmed that there is no record of these accounts. Despite this, I continue to receive collection communications. This appears to be a case of mistaken identity and improper handling of personal information.

I received a call from this company stating they were collecting for a rental property, XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. In speaking with the representative, I told her the property management company was not awarded a money judgment and was awarded a 'possession only ' judgment. The representative told me that I would need to prove it. I told her that is factually incorrect ; by law, if the company is attempting to collect from me, they are legally required to validate the debt in regulatory compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and until the debt is validated, they must cease any further collection efforts. The agent laughed at me and told me I would need to pay the amount or prove I don't owe it. To date, I have received additional calls and emails attempting to collect this debt.

I am submitting this complaint against TrueAccord, a debt collection agency, regarding their failure to comply with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ). I recently discovered that TrueAccord has placed a collection account on my credit report. However, I never received any written notice, validation notice, or communication from this company regarding the alleged debt prior to it being reported. Under the FDCPA, specifically 15 U.S.C. 1692g, a debt collector is required to provide a written notice containing key details of the debt within five days of their initial communication with a consumer. To this day, I have not received any such notice, nor have I been given the opportunity to dispute or validate this alleged debt. This lack of proper notification has negatively impacted my credit and my livelihood. I believe this is a clear violation of my rights as a consumer. I am requesting the following : A full investigation into TrueAccords reporting practices.

Card Number : XXXX Hi, I have attached two letters from XXXX Bank clearly showing XXXX Bank clearly stating my account was placed with a third party collection agency for servicing which is TruAccord .. XXXX Bank also clearly confirmed in their letters to me that I did speak with a XXXX Bank Representative who told me to contact TruAccord to resolve the collections shown on my credit reports from XXXX Bank With this said : If XXXX Bank sold my debt to TruAccord, ( XXXX Bank stated that they placed my account with TruAccord and a reasonable assumption is TruAccord now owns this debt and XXXX Bank does not as my personal information including social security number was provided to TruAccord without my permission ), then why doesnt XXXX Bank report this accurately on my credit reports as a chargeoff? .... I recently reviewed my credit report and discovered a collection account reported by TrueAccord for {$84.00}. I have absolutely no knowledge of what this alleged debt is for. Prior to this account being reported to the credit bureaus, I never received the required written notice of the debt as required under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA 809 ( a ) ). After discovering the account, I sent a written request asking TrueAccord to provide proper validation of the alleged debt and documentation proving that the debt exists and that I am legally responsible for it. It has now been well over 30 days, and I still have not received any validation or response from the company. Because of this, I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission ( FTC ) and a complaint with the Attorney Generals office regarding this companys reporting practices.
