I am a victim of identity theft. XXXX fraudulent accounts were opened at XXXX XXXX Koalafi ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX ) in my name on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX, XXXX, without my knowledge or authorization. Balances : {$10000.00} and {$770.00}. I submitted a formal dispute to Koalafi on XX/XX/XXXX, with police reports ( XXXX XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX ) and an FTC Identity Theft Report ( XX/XX/XXXX ). I also filed a formal dispute with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke with supervisor XXXX ( XXXX. XXXX ), who informed me Koalafi determined the accounts are not fraudulent based on payment history. However, the payment accounts disclosed debit card ending XXXX and checking account ending XXXX are not mine, and I do not recognize them. This is direct evidence of fraud. Koalafi refused to provide written investigation findings, stating they are for internal use only, and confirmed there is no appeals process.

To Whom It Concerns, Im contacting you because an account with my information suddenly appeared in your system and is now being reported to the credit bureaus. Before I make any decisions or take any responsibility for something I dont fully understand, I need clarity and documentation. I am disputing this account and requesting validation under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. This is not a refusal to pay. I simply need proof that the information youre reporting is accurate, that I am the correct person, and that your company has the legal right to collect or furnish the account. Right now, what you have provided is not enough for me to confirm anything. To properly review and verify this matter, I am asking for the following : 1. A breakdown of what this alleged balance is based on, including dates and itemized charges. 2. Documents showing where this obligation originated and how your company obtained it. 3.

Vehicle loan or lease· Managing the loan or leasePA

I am filing a complaint regarding a financing agreement with Koalafi ( Agreement # XXXX ) that I believe was obtained under coercion and misrepresentation. I did not intend to finance the full amount. I only wanted to pay for the repairs necessary to pass inspection. However, they depleted the entire lease amount of {$3500.00} and I was charged for the full quoted amount to fully fix repairs and pass inspection, even though the repairs were not completed. The vehicle still does not pass inspection due to unresolved brake light and turn signal issues. A necessary component was not installed, yet I was still charged. He told me he would not leave the shop until he completed my vehicle ; however, upond arrival to pick up my vehicle about XXXX XXXX, he attempted to charge an additional {$1100.00} for completion of service, claiming I now needed a " tipping module '' in order to pass inspection.

Payday loan, title loan, personal loan, or advance loan· Problem with the payoff process at the end of the loanGA

On XX/XX/2026, I paid an amount of {$600.00}, I knew that the final payment was {$120.00} which is what I planned to pay once I got paid again. When making this payment, the only pay off amount shown was {$120.00} with no other indication that there was any pending payments or any amount due after this. So I made the payment, got the confirmation that the payment was made and the account was satisfied. The payment also cleared my bank account as well. As a consumer, I had no reason to believe that anything else was due after this because of the confirmation received. I made the intention to pay this account within the 90 day period because it was the same as cash thing so I knew the final payment had to be before XX/XX/2026 which is what I did. When checking my credit report, I seen that this account was still reporting and that it wasn't reporting as closed, so I logged into the account and I seen that there was still a balance but for the full 12 month period.

Debt collection· False statements or representationPA

On XX/XX/year>, I entered into a lease agreement financed by Koalafi to purchase furniture from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Pennsylvania. Shortly after the furniture was delivered, I realized that the furniture does not properly fit in my home. I contacted the store the same week to request an exchange for furniture that would fit my space. The store refused to help or offer any reasonable solution. I made the request immediately in good faith, but the merchant has ignored my concerns. I should not be required to continue making payments for furniture that can not be used in my home. The merchant failed to resolve the issue despite being notified promptly. I am requesting that Koalafi investigate this situation and stop the payment obligations until the issue is resolved with the merchant.

On XX/XX/year>, while reviewing my credit report, I discovered a collection account that does not belong to me and that I do not recognize. The account is being reported by KOALAFI as a collection account with a balance of approximately {$1300.00}. I never opened this account, never authorized this account, and I have never conducted business with this company. Because of this, I believe my personal information may have been used without my knowledge or consent. This inaccurate account is negatively affecting my credit report and my ability to obtain credit. I have already reported this issue as potential identity theft and requested an investigation. However, this account continues to appear on my credit report. I am requesting that this matter be investigated immediately and that the company provide proof that I authorized or opened this account.

Payday loan, title loan, personal loan, or advance loan· Problem with the payoff process at the end of the loanGA

I am filing a complaint regarding misleading loan terms provided by Koalafi. When I entered into the financing agreement, I was clearly told that my loan balance of {$1400.00} would be paid off within XXXX days as long as my payments of {$130.00} were made on time. Based on this information, I agreed to the financing terms. Since entering the agreement, I have made all payments as required and have paid a total of {$1700.00} toward the loan. However, my account currently still reflects a remaining balance of {$1700.00}. This indicates that I have already paid more than the original financed amount, yet my balance appears unchanged. This contradicts the terms that were explained to me at the time of purchase and raises concerns about misleading or deceptive lending practices. I am requesting a full accounting of how my payments were applied, clarification of the loan terms, and correction of my account balance if errors or deceptive practices occurred.

On XX/XX/year>, I submitted a payoff payment in the amount of {$1200.00} to Koalafi. The payment cleared via ACH and is labeled Payoff in my account history. After this cleared payoff, my account was reactivated and a remaining balance began appearing as due. Additional ACH activity occurred following the cleared payoff. I contacted Koalafi multiple times to request clarification and to have my payment method removed to prevent further withdrawals. My requests were not resolved, and I was unable to stop additional billing through the company. As a result, I was forced to contact my bank to block further ACH withdrawals. Despite the cleared payoff and my repeated attempts to resolve the issue, the account continues to reflect a remaining balance and collection activity. I am disputing the remaining balance and any further attempts to collect funds on this account. Based on the cleared payoff payment, the account should reflect paid in full.

Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am submitting this complaint to formally request the complete removal of XXXX/Koalafis account from my credit reports with XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX due to a documented pattern of inaccurate, inconsistent, and potentially unlawful credit reporting that has caused harm to my credit profile. Basis for Removal XXXX/Koalafi has engaged in repeated reporting actions that undermine the accuracy and reliability required under federal law, including : Updating the account to reflect an agreed-upon settlement amount and then, approximately one year later, increasing the reported balance to nearly double that amount without notice, explanation, or supporting documentation. Removing the account from my credit report and subsequently reinserting it between XX/XX/year>, and XX/XX/year>, without notice and without demonstrating proper certification of accuracy prior to reinsertion.

I opened a Koalafi installment loan account in XX/XX/XXXX for a couch purchase. On XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed a new payment on my account and learned that a refrigerator had been purchased using my financing account without my authorization. I did not approve this transaction, did not apply for additional financing, and did not receive the refrigerator. I immediately contacted Koalafi to report the unauthorized purchase and was advised to file a formal complaint. I believe my identity and/or account information was used fraudulently. I am requesting that the fraudulent refrigerator charge be immediately removed from my account, that my account be secured to prevent further unauthorized use, and that this matter be fully investigated. I am not responsible for this debt.

On XX/XX/year>, a payment was withdrawn from my bank account even though no goods or services were ever delivered. I never signed a pickup confirmation, never took possession of any tires, and no installation occurred. There is no proof of delivery because nothing was delivered. The loan is for point of sale car repair from the company koalafi. I am disputing an alleged debt related to an automotive repair transaction that is currently under review with state regulatory agencies. I have requested that the matter be handled in writing only and that collection activity pause while the dispute is pending, but the calls and credit impact have continued. I am requesting review of the collection practices and credit reporting related to this account. Basically, I took my car to a repair shop for a new radiator, used a used radiator. Background and XXXX XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted Koalifi to proactively address a temporary financial hardship caused by a government shutdown that halted my wages. On XX/XX/year>, I paid my Koalafi loan in full. At the time, my balance was {$1700.00}, which they reduced to {$1200.00}. The company told me the XXXX payment was part of the payoff. I explained that reducing the balance from {$1700.00} to {$1200.00} is a discount and should not have been applied as part of the payoff, because the proper payoff would have been {$1600.00}. I also explained the payment was meant for XX/XX/XXXX, not the final payoff, and cited Regulation E. I have a written payoff letter dated XX/XX/XXXX confirming the balance was paid in full, and an email confirming the account is closed. All of this was recorded with the company. They then threatened that if I reversed the payment, the loan would reopen. I am disputing the extra charge and request a refund and written confirmation that the account is closed.

I entered into an installment loan agreement with Koalafi with the understanding that the total amount owed and repayment terms were clearly disclosed at the time of purchase. After making payments, I noticed that my remaining balance and payoff amount were higher than expected and did not align with what I was originally told. Koalafi charged fees and/or interest that were not clearly disclosed upfront. The amounts applied to my account were confusing, and I was unable to get a clear, consistent explanation from customer service regarding how my payments were being applied or why the balance remained higher than expected. I attempted to resolve this directly with Koalafi, but I did not receive a satisfactory explanation or correction. I believe the fees and interest charged were misleading, unexpected, and not properly disclosed at the time I agreed to the loan.

On XX/XX/2024, I submitted a payoff payment for my Koalafi lease ( Account # XXXX ). I was never notified that the payment did not clear, nor did I receive any email, text, or other communication indicating a problem with the payment. This lack of notice prevented me from correcting the issue in a timely manner. I reasonably believed the account was paid off based on Koalafis written confirmation and the absence of any follow-up communication. At the time the payment was submitted and in the days that followed, there were more than sufficient funds in my bank account to cover the payoff amount. I have attached documentation showing available funds. There is also no record indicating that Koalafi attempted to reprocess the payment or notify me of a failure.
