Dear CFPB, I am writing to formally submit a complaint regarding XXXX XXXX XXXX and a recent change in their payment policies. I was notified that, effective XX/XX/2026, I will no longer be able to make payments using my debit or credit card. Instead, I am required to provide my bank account information for automatic withdrawals. I have several concerns regarding this policy change : XXXX Privacy and Security Risks : I consider this requirement an invasion of my privacy. Providing my bank information puts me at risk of unauthorized withdrawals, especially in situations where the lease is still active but unforeseen circumstances arise. I am concerned that all the remaining money owed on the car could be withdrawn without my consent, particularly given the uncertain financial conditions anticipated in the near future.

The lease on my XXXX XXXX XXXX ended. I turned in the vehicle at the XXXX dealership in XXXX, NC on XX/XX/XXXX. I received the lease termination statement on XX/XX/XXXX. Subject : Complaint Regarding Lease Payment Deferral Fees XXXX XXXX XXXX I am submitting this complaint regarding my auto lease with XXXX XXXX XXXX for a XXXX XXXX XXXX. Debt collection· Attempts to collect debt not owedFL

A collection account is appearing on my credit report that has not been properly validated. I exercised my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) by requesting verification of the alleged debt. The creditor or collection agency has failed to provide any legitimate documentation demonstrating that the debt belongs to me, that the amount is correct, or that they have the legal authority to collect it. Despite this lack of verification, the account continues to be reported on my credit file. This is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), which requires that only accurate and verifiable information be reported. Reporting an unvalidated account is both inaccurate and misleading.

Following this loss, Omni World did not contact me at any point regarding insurance coverage, the status of the loan, or the collateral. What happened? I entered into an auto loan in XX/XX/XXXX. Due to payment issues in early XXXX, the vehicle was involuntarily repossessed on XX/XX/XXXX and sold on XX/XX/XXXX. The lender reported a deficiency balance of approximately {$23000.00} and later applied a refund of {$7000.00} for canceled protection products. I filed this complaint after identifying inaccurate and inconsistent credit reporting related to this account. The lender acknowledged in writing that at least one consumer reporting agency was reporting an incorrect balance and last reporting date and stated that a correction would be submitted. Despite this acknowledgment, my credit reports continue to reflect conflicting information. The account shows a last payment date of XX/XX/XXXX, even though the vehicle had already been repossessed and charged off months earlier.
