I have been called non stop since XXXX about a repossession but when I answered they never gave me the answers I was looking for. They have called non stop since XX/XX/year>. I usually get anywhere from 5-6 calls everyday.
I purchase my vehicle in XXXX in 2020 and registered my vehicle under XXXX. My vehicle was cosigned with my husband. I never changed my last name anywhere after getting married. Shortly after I joined the military and got assigned to XXXX. My car stayed registered in XXXX. During my assignment in XXXX, my registration came back with the incorrect last name ( my husbands name ). I didnt notice at first as I usually put it in my car right away. I got order to move overseas. I tried to ship my vehicle to XXXX but was denied. I attempted to put my vehicle in government storage before moving to XXXX. I was denied access due to my name on registration not matching my military orders. I also couldnt sell my vehicle. I had to find a private company to watch my car. I couldnt delay moving to take care of the issue so I tried fixing it while in XXXX with runarounds. My husband and I called both XXXX DMV and XXXX XXXX but no one could help update my information.…
Honda Financial Services response is unacceptable and does not resolve my complaint. The company continues to avoid providing clear documentation or accountability regarding my {$1800.00} warranty cancellation refund, which was supposedly processed on XX/XX/year>2026. More than a month has passed, and I still have not received payment. Despite repeated attempts to obtain answers, Honda Financial Services has failed to provide : XX/XX/XXXX Proof that the check was actually mailed XX/XX/XXXX The exact issuance or mailing date XX/XX/XXXXVerification of the address used XX/XX/XXXX Tracking information or delivery confirmation XX/XX/XXXX Immediate reissuance of the missing payment Consumers should not be forced into endless phone calls and vague responses simply to recover money that is already owed to them. At this point, Honda Financial Services handling of this matter demonstrates a serious lack of transparency and failure to properly administer consumer refunds.…
This complaint is specifically regarding a {$500.00} XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXXthat was promised during the purchase of a XX/XX/XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/scrub> 2026 from XXXX XXXX XXXX but was NEVER applied to my loan by Honda Financial Services. This is a separate and distinct issue from any previously filed complaints. THE SPECIFIC ISSUE : During the purchase negotiation, a {$500.00} XXXX XXXX XXXX was promised as part of the transaction. This credit was never applied to my loan despite the following : The dealership collected my academic information to verify eligibility As late as XX/XX/scrub>, 2026 the dealership was still requesting my official transcripts to verify eligibility.…
I financed a 2023 XXXX XXXX through an auto dealer, and the vehicle has had serious mechanical, safety, and documentation issues almost immediately after purchase. After only XXXX round-trip drive from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX miles ), the maintenance light activated and the vehicle required an oil change far earlier than expected for a nearly new vehicle. I paid {$130.00} out of pocket for this service. When I later brought the vehicle to an XXXX dealership in XXXX, dealership personnel informed me the vehicle appeared to have excessive wear inconsistent with a XXXX model and indicated it may have prior undisclosed damage, heavy prior use, unresolved recalls, or accident-related issues. I was also informed the vehicle should not have been sold in its present condition.…
I am filing this complaint regarding my recent vehicle lease with XXXX XXXX and the dealerships handling of the transaction, including misrepresentation during the negotiation, coercive communication, survey manipulation, refusal to communicate in good faith, and the dealerships escalation to an attorney who declined to answer basic consumer questions. Summary of Issues Shortly after leasing the vehicle, I discovered multiple issues with the dealerships conduct : Material misrepresentation by the Sales Director, who stated the dealership was losing {$5200.00} on the deal, which partially influenced my wife 's decision to sign. Survey manipulation, including an offer of a {$250.00} gift card in exchange for a XXXX survey score. Coercive latenight communication at XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. Failure to follow through on promised contact from management. Corporate nonresponsiveness from XXXX XXXX XXXX.…
I am submitting this complaint regarding the repossession of my vehicle and the way the account has been handled and reported. I believe there are multiple irregularities related to the repossession process, the lack of proper notifications, and the possible inaccurate reporting of the debt on my credit reports. The vehicle was repossessed by the creditor or repossession company without providing me with clear and complete information regarding my rights, the exact account balance, the sale process of the vehicle, or how any alleged remaining balance ( deficiency balance ) was calculated. In addition, the account continues to appear on my credit reports with information that I believe is inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable. I have requested validation and documentation related to : The original contract. The payment history. The calculation of the remaining balance. Evidence of the vehicle sale.…
I total loss my XXXX XXXX XXXX last year. I paid for XXXX insurance in case of such situation but they only paid for half of the remaining Balance in oppose to all of it as it was advertised. I was left with a {$2000.00} balance to pay but now on my credit report it is reported as {$3000.00}. I do t think any of this is fair to me.
I am submitting a complaint regarding inaccurate credit reporting by Honda Financial Services. Honda Financial Services provided written confirmation that no late payments would be reported to any credit bureau for my account. Despite this written agreement, Honda Financial Services reported late payments to the credit bureaus, which caused a significant drop in my credit score ( approximately XXXX points ). This reporting contradicts the written confirmation I received and appears to be inaccurate under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The inaccurate reporting has negatively impacted my credit standing. I am requesting that Honda Financial Services immediately correct the reporting by removing all late payment history associated with this account and submit updated information to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I have attached the written confirmation from Honda Financial Services as supporting documentation.
XX/XX/year> accepted a settlement offer from XXXX XXXX XXXX that said and mailed information regarding the balance that was held on the Honda account ( {$4500.00} ) paid the offer that was ( {$800.00} ) have a confirmation that my debt was no longer a thing with a balance of ( {$0.00} )
I am submitting this because Honda financial has not been reporting accurately my payments on my vehicle loan since XX/XX/XXXX and it is now XX/XX/XXXX where my latest on time payment hasnt been reported for 7 months now, my due date is XXXX of every month. all my payments have been on time & I also have statements to confirm my credibility.
Subject : Urgent Request Status and Refund of {$990.00} XXXX Payment I am formally requesting resolution regarding a {$990.00} XXXX refund that has not been paid to me. XXXX XXXX XXXX dealership has provided me with documentation clearly showing that this payment was issued and sent to Honda Financial Services. These documents have been uploaded and are available for your review. Additionally, based on my communication with the XXXX provider, it has been confirmed that this payment was processed and sent to XXXX XXXX XXXX. This demonstrates that the involved parties records are consistent regarding the movement of the funds. However, the official documentation provided by Honda Financial Services states that this payment was not received. This creates a clear financial discrepancy, and the current status of the {$990.00} payment is unknown. I am requesting immediate clarification and resolution on the following : XXXX.…
On XXXX I traded my XXXX XXXX lease to XXXX of XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, Maryland XXXX XXXX is procrastinating in connecting with a local XXXX dealership to pay off my 2025 XXXX trade in ; which will allow the XXXX dealership to submit the payoff to XXXX XXXX services for XXXX of my title. In addition, my XXXX XXXX lease payment is currently due today XX/XX/XXXX, and Acuras refusal to coordinate the payoff payment to a local XXXX dealership will affect my 100 % on time payment history with XXXX XXXX. Most importantly, I have 100 % XXXX XXXX license plates, and need to replace XXXX dealership temporary tags ; with my XXXX veterans tags, and permanent registration seamlessly already.
What you are doing is not a clerical mistake. It is not a misunderstanding. It is the systematic assertion of a claim without evidence, followed by the institutional enforcement of that claim as though it were fact. When examined rigorouslythrough analytic philosophy and the framework of XXXX XXXX conduct reveals not just error, but a deeply embedded structure of epistemic irresponsibility and coercive power. You claim that my XXXX payment was returned. That claim is the foundation upon which you have constructed an entire chain of consequences : the retroactive reapplication of a deferment, the imposition of delinquency, and the reporting of that delinquency to credit bureaus. And yet, at the most basic level, you have failed to answer the only question that matters : where is the evidence? In analytic philosophy, a claim is only as strong as its justification. Your justification is nonexistent.…
The executed lease payment calculation appears to show that the {$520.00} amount already includes capitalized taxes because those taxes were embedded in the adjusted capitalized cost before the monthly lease payment was calculated. If HFS is servicing the lease under Pennsylvania tax treatment, then the capitalized Illinois tax amount should be removed from the lease balance first, and Pennsylvania tax should be applied properly on a monthly basis. HFS should not be permitted to use a payment structure that already includes capitalized tax and then add Pennsylvania tax or other charges on top of it. Using the disclosed lease figures, it is mathematically impossible to reach a payment of approximately {$570.00} unless HFS is adding undisclosed charges, reintroducing unauthorized fees, or taxing a payment amount that already includes capitalized taxes. In other words, the {$570.00} figure can only be explained by hidden fees, improper add-ons, or double taxation.…
BACKGROUND I purchased my vehicle at the end of my lease and never received the title. After months of follow-up, Honda acknowledged in early XX/XX/XXXX that the vehicle had not been properly transferred into my name it remained titled under XXXX XXXX XXXX and agreed to issue a corrected title at no cost. A supervisor confirmed this on XX/XX/XXXX, with an estimated processing time of 68 weeks. As of today, XX/XX/XXXX, I still do not have a title. I can not register the vehicle with the XXXX, and I am currently unable to drive it legally. I was issued a warning by law enforcement on XX/XX/XXXX, and advised not to drive or park the vehicle on public streets. I have been relying on a family member 's car since that date. I contacted the XXXX Duplicate Title Unit today and was informed by a representative named XXXX that the title for my vehicle was sent to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX over six weeks ago. Honda Financial Services has not been able to account for the status of that document.…
XXXX my XXXX was totaled in an accident and on XX/XX/year> spoke to numerous people at Honda finance to find out why I am being charged this when the car was totaled and I had gap insurance. They would not work with me at all. Also had to pay {$400.00} for a deductible and XXXX for over mileage which should never have been charged due to the loss of the vehicle and gap insurance
The car is paid off but it is reporting as charged off.
On XX/XX/year>, I spoke with representative XXXX XXXX from American Honda Financial Center ( AHFC ). I had made a verbal payment arraignment to pay the past due balance of XXXX on XX/XX/year>, to bring my account current. XX/XX/year>, was the due date of my payment and confirmed by Honda Financial. On XXXX I had just pulled into the driveway, and the rear of my vehicle was lifted up by a repossession agent from XXXX recovery. The repossession agent gave me a repossession order that was inaccurate ; stating that my account was delinquent since XXXX. I had shown him that I had made a payment to XXXX totaling {$810.00} on XX/XX/year>. The repossession agent stated that I needed to contact AHFS the next day to get this resolved and I could get my car back, they threatened that if I did not comply, I would not get my car back and be listed as a non-compliant and lose my rights to get my car back.…
* * Formal Complaint Improper Retention and Failure to Apply Refund * * * * Against : Honda Financial Services * * I am submitting this complaint regarding the handling of funds by Honda Financial Services in connection with my auto finance account. I canceled a service contract associated with my vehicle, which resulted in a refund being issued. That refund was sent directly to Honda Financial Services for the purpose of being applied to my account. Honda Financial Services has confirmed receipt of these funds. Despite acknowledging receipt, Honda Financial Services has refused to apply the refund to my account balance and has instead stated that the funds will be held until the loan/lease is paid in full. This position is improper and raises serious concerns. The funds in question were remitted specifically to reduce my outstanding financial obligation.…
My car was totaled and my lienholder American Honda Finance told me they have 10 to 15 business days to send a letter of guarantee to my insurance company. My insurance company needs this letter so they can send them a check. We are past the 15 days and they have not sent the letter. They have hung up on me two times now multiple times they have told me they will send a letter end of day and have not. I have asked to speak to a supervisor and they said I can not. They said One would call me back and this is not happening. I feel they are doing this to get more money out of me in interest.
Subject : Deceptive Auto Financing Practices and Improper Reinstatement of Paid Loan Balance I am filing a formal complaint against American Honda Finance Corporation regarding deceptive lending practices at the time of vehicle purchase, as well as the improper reinstatement of a loan balance that had previously been satisfied and inaccurately reported to the credit bureaus. At the time I purchased my XXXX XXXX XXXX, I was led by the salesperson and finance department to believe that I was receiving an interest rate ( APR ) of less than 7 %. I signed the contract under this understanding while seated at the dealership. After signing, I requested a copy of the contract but was told the printer was not working and that I could return the following day to retrieve it. However, I did not receive a copy of the contract until nearly a month later. Upon reviewing the document, I discovered that the actual APR was in excess of 20 %, which was never disclosed to me at the time of signing.…

am filing this formal complaint against American Honda Finance Corporation ( AHFC ) for Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices ( UDAAP ) and a direct violation of the XX/XX/XXXX CFPB Consent Order ( XXXX ). XXXX is currently refusing to investigate a documented dispute and is willfully ignoring a life-safety emergency. On XX/XX/XXXX, an AHFC agent ( XXXX XXXX ) committed a criminal Breach of the Peace under XXXX XXXX XXXX by coordinating an illegal box-in, high-speed reverse vehicular assault and pursuit against me while I was inside my vehicle. I recently about 2 weeks ago, got my XXXX XXXX repossessed from lack of payments, I was late 90 days. I spoke to a representative and she told me that I needed to make the payment through XXXX and immediately to give them a call back to avoid repossession so I made the payment through XXXX XXXX and I couldnt call them that exact day because it was already too late, so I tried to call them the next day but when I notice my car was already gone. In my email or mail I didnt got any letters from them saying my car was going to get repossessed, I didnt received lost calls from them and voicemails to give them a call back about my Honda account . But from the repossession that was so last minute that in the mailbox I didnt got any letter or either by email, and they should have my P.O. Box since I had gotten notices for service due. I will upload a picture statement of my balance and information of my loan, etc.
There are over XXXX XXXX dollars in fees on my loan that were NOT DISCLOSED TO ME WHATSOEVER. There is a gigantic text box saying that other charges on the loan must be clearly disclosed to the buyer, who is paid, and what the purpose is for. NONE OF THAT HAPPENED. There is a {$3200.00} dollar charge to " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX '' and {$1600.00} to " XXXX for XXXX XXXX ''. This is absolutely unacceptable and I am so far beyond unhappy. I was completely deceived and taken advantage of by the dealership. The loan was supposed to be for around XXXX XXXX dollars, and it's nearly XXXX XXXX dollars. They also lied and took XXXX XXXX dollars off my trade in vehicle, when the agreed trade in was XXXX and now says XXXX on the paperwork which I also did not see or agree to.
I went in on XXXX XXXX and received a loan from the company for a XXXX XXXX and they were approved under false pretense the application had my name and information from an over the phone process but once loan application was submitted and approved they called and was asking questions the salesman said when they call just say yes to verify that everything was completed and accurate I did when I got the car and they needed to send information to insurance company the insurance company had information that wasnt valid as mine so the company salesman had put in false information and on the very next day he called me after I sent him some customers before I found out he was falsely stating information to get the loan and asked me can my client you sent use your information as a co-signer and I said ok it was for my daughter come to find out when i get there and sign paperwork then she missed payments finding out he had put car in my name brand new car off of show room floor when just day…

We were waiting for the contract, but didn't feel comfortable driving the car untill the new contract was received, which made getting to work difficult XX/XX/year> we contact dealer again for the new contract. They said we need to pay an additional {$2000.00} and {$310.00} a month or return the car. XX/XX/year> leave work again to speak to the GM of the dealer. It was explained that Honda finance was at fault and there was nothing the dealer can do.…
I am submitting this complaint regarding my lease with Honda Financial Services and a significant issue involving lack of disclosure at the time of signing. When I entered into my lease agreement, I was not clearly informed that the contract included a restriction preventing third-party dealer buyouts. This limitation has a major impact on my ability to trade in or sell the vehicle outside of a Honda dealership. Recently, I contacted the original salesperson who handled my lease, XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX ), and she acknowledged that this restriction was not explained to me at the time of signing. This confirms that I was not fully informed of a critical term in the agreement. Because this information was not disclosed, I was unable to make a fully informed financial decision. Had I known about this restriction, I would have reconsidered entering into this lease.…
