On XX/XX/XXXX, I was reviewing my Axos Bank statements online. I noticed that there were charges from " Merchant '' that looked unauthorized, because I did not remember spending money on those dates for that amount, nor did I recognize " Merchant ''. There were XXXX charges over 2 months totaling {$50.00}. I submitted a message to Axos Bank regarding the transactions. In that dispute form, I was able to type into a box describing my issue. I do not have access to a copy of this text, but I essentially asked Axos to let me know if there was any other information regarding " XXXX '', because all other transactions had more details re the company other than just listing its name, and XXXX itself is just a generic placeholder. I then asked if a hold could be placed on JUST THIS MERCHANT SPECIFICALLY. Instead of actually responding to my request for information, my entire account was immediately frozen, and my debit card was shut off without my permission.…

I have reported this company multiple times and banking infringements continue to occur. Most egregious : Apparent 3rd Party Breach and Hacking of card at gas pumps Showing declines when there are funds available, False Fraud Alert, blocking Use debit card, that when called Axos shows there is no issue with the card, then a parent interference occurs and forces connection to parties that present themselves as associate with Axos, fraud department and are seemingly impersonators. This occurred last week prior to a trip and when finally speaking with someone who did not seem authentic stated and contradicted themselves apparently making up as they went along reasons for the car being blocked stating that XXXX XXXX transaction is fraudulent which makes no sense there was a parent Third-party hacking intrusion on the card place and in addition the person at First said that it was for a XXXX Cent bag of chips at XXXX then after I challenge them stating I was at the XXXX right that minute…
I am filing this complaint against Axos XXXX for unlawful retaliatory account suspension, wrongful withholding of funds, and a five-year pattern of financial negligence that has caused me significant and ongoing harm. On XXXX XXXX, XX/XX/year>, I contacted Axos XXXX to exercise my federally protected right to dispute a {$10.00} charge on my account pursuant to the Electronic Fund Transfer Act ( EFTA ) and Regulation E. The customer service representative refused to process my dispute without explanation and abruptly terminated the call. My account was immediately suspended without my authorization, without prior notice, and without any written justification in direct retaliation for attempting to file a legitimate consumer dispute. I was respectful and composed throughout the entire interaction. There was no legitimate basis for this suspension. As of today, XX/XX/year>, I have been completely locked out of my account and the Axos mobile app for four consecutive days.…
I had a savings account at XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX was sold to Axos bank and all accounts transferred. I received several emails from XXXX XXXX and Axos bank telling me that my account number and login credentials would remain the same. When I tried to log in, it said my account did not exist and I was denied access. I called Axos bank twice and they said they would reset my credentials and I would be able to re-register by creating a new log in and password. However, this did not work... I have been unable to access my funds ( over $ XXXX ) for 10 days now and I am unable to pay my mortgage, and my other bills. This has created a true hardship, anxiety and financial issues. When I request to speak with a manager or a supervisor, I am told there are none - which I believe is a lie. I want to be able to access my account and retrieve my funds. I believe Axos Bank is making zero attempt to assist me and is holding my money hostage.
I currently have an account with AXOS bank- Roth IRA- I started the process of trying to have the money transferred to XXXX over a year ago. I spent over 45 minutes on the phone every time I call. I have made over 10 calls in the last year. XXXX has made several attempts to assist me. The last attempt was emailed to Axos on XX/XX/year>. As of today XXXX we still have not rectangle I formation. I called Acos and they stated they do not have the information again. I attempted to set up a transfer via their app and was able to set up my outside account but it wont let me transfer it out either. This is the worst bank ever. You hold for so long and then get someone in the call and you cant even understand them bc of the noise behind them. They wont respond to messages sent via portal either
Systemic Failure to Deliver Advertised " Private Client '' Benefits ; Pattern of Deceptive Administrative Coercion ( Prior Complaint # XXXX ) I. Introduction & Regulatory Basis I am filing this complaint against Axos Bank for a sustained failure to honor its advertised " Private Client Banking '' terms and for engaging in deceptive administrative practices that withhold earned benefits from high-net-worth consumers. This follows a previous formal complaint regarding deceptive interest rate tiering ( Ref # XXXX ), establishing a clear pattern of Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices ( UDAAP ) under the Dodd-Frank Act. XXXX. Statement of Facts Since XX/XX/2026, I have maintained an aggregate balance exceeding $ XXXXmore than double the banks stated {$250000.00} threshold for " Private Client '' status.…
I am filing a complaint against Axos XXXX for what I believe to be misleading advertising related to its Axos XXXX savings account. In early XX/XX/year>, I saw a promotion advertising up to 4.21 % APY. Relying on that representation, I opened an account on XX/XX/year>, and deposited {$10000.00} on XX/XX/year>. On my first statement dated XX/XX/year>, I discovered that my account earned only approximately 1.01 % APY. When I contacted the bank on XX/XX/year>, I was told I did not meet certain promotional requirements. These requirements were not clearly disclosed or presented in a way that would allow a reasonable consumer to understand that the advertised rate was conditional. The promotion emphasized the 4.21 % APY without adequately disclosing the conditions required to earn it. This created a misleading impression that simply funding the account would qualify for the advertised rate.…
Axos Bank Failure to Validate Deficiency, Missing Required XXXX Notices, Contradictory Information, and Inaccurate Credit Reporting Complaint Narrative : I am submitting this followup complaint because Axos Banks XX/XX/year> response failed to address the core issues raised in my original CFPB complaint and introduced new inconsistencies. Axos Bank admitted in writing that it can not produce the legally required Notice of Sale ( UCC 9611 ) or the postsale accounting statement ( UCC 9616 ) for my repossessed vehicle. These documents are mandatory. Without them, the Bank can not legally substantiate a deficiency balance or report one to consumer reporting agencies. Axos also stated that the remaining balance after the auction and GAP refund was {$4500.00}, yet they are reporting {$8000.00} to the credit bureaus. They did not provide any documentation supporting the additional charges, interest calculations, or how the balance increased by nearly {$3500.00}.…
On XX/XX/year>, an unauthorized wire transfer of {$1900.00} was initiated from my checking account at XXXX XXXX to an account at Axos Bank in the name of XXXX XXXX ( account ending in XXXX ). I did not authorize this transaction, nor did I provide consent for any such transfer. I promptly notified XXXX XXXX upon discovering the issue and filed a fraud claim. Despite my notification : * The funds have not been returned * I have not received a satisfactory explanation of how the transaction was authorized * The bank has not demonstrated that proper authentication or security procedures were followed Impact / Harm Caused : * Direct financial loss of {$1900.00} * Disruption to my personal finances and account stability * Time and effort spent attempting to resolve the issue without success
I am formally disputing a missing ACH transfer in the amount of {$2000.00} between UFB Direct ( Axos ) and XXXX XXXX Bank. Timeline : XX/XX/XXXX {$2000.00} transferred from my XXXX account to UFB Direct XX/XX/XXXX Funds posted to my UFB account XX/XX/XXXX UFB removed {$2000.00} stating insufficient funds and returned to XXXX. However, the funds were clearly available in the XXXX account. ( See attached statements ). XX/XX/XXXX - Present Funds still not received at XXXX XXXX has confirmed : The funds were successfully debited from my account No ACH return has been received The ACH trace number provided by Axos does not correspond to any returned funds This indicates that the funds were not successfully returned through the ACH network.
I am pasting the most recent demand to Axos Bank and Axos Investing : " I will be forced to empty my savings and checking to prevent another automated transfer to self directed trading, which I have been unsuccessful stop this, or having Axos stop this, and eliminate the additional transfer of {$50.00} to a secondary trading account that I had requested closed and assumed it had been closed. Axos has no business offering a stock investment option if it will not allow the account holder to adjust, cancel and stop transfers, because Axos has managed to drain my savings account and deprive me with interest I would have earned. I believe Axos should refund me lost interest resulting from automatic transfers that before my direct deposit therefore defaulting to my savings account.…
I am a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX filing this complaint regarding Axos Banks bad-faith denial of promotional interest on a total relationship of {$520000.00}. I attempted for the past three weeks to work it out with them, however they refuse to. To earn a higher interest rate, one way is to move more than XXXX XXXX dollars of new money into the bank. Axos uses the XXXX of each month to tabulate the interest for the month that you are in. The Evidence : My originating bank XXXX XXXX XXXX ) transmitted funds {$5000.00} via ACH Trace # XXXX at XXXX XXXX EST on XX/XX/year>. Under NACHA standards, this qualifies for next-day settlement. Willful Ignorance by Leadership : I attempted to resolve this through proper executive channels. I contacted SVP XXXX XXXX multiple times and reached out to CEO XXXX XXXX. Both have remained entirely silent.…
~ XX/XX/year> I spoke with agent at UFB to close my account. There was a balance Idalready transferred but a small amount ~ XXXX in interest remained. I asked the remaining g balance be mailed to me in Florida, as instructed I went into my account and changed the mailing address. Agent confirmed on phone the mailing address update. She then suggested I follow up with an internal message requesting closure of account. She assured me the acried interest would be mailed and the account would automatically close because the balance was being mailed. Today XX/XX/year> no check of my remaining balance ever arrived and adding insult to injury UFB has claimed my interest as bank fees. Highly illegal, highly unacceptable.
XX/XX/year> To Whom It May Concern : I am filing a complaint regarding Axos Bank / UFB Directs failure to properly investigate an error under Regulation E ( 12 CFR 1005.11 ). I disputed two ACH transactions totaling {$17000.00} ( {$15000.00} on XX/XX/year> and {$1800.00} on XX/XX/year> ). I explicitly identified the issue as : Authorized transaction that does not conform to the terms of my authorization. This classification was clearly selected on the banks " Written Statement of Unauthorized Debit '' form and repeatedly explained in my submissions. My claim is not that the transaction was unauthorized, but that it did not conform to the terms of my authorization. This is not a merchant dispute ; it is an error under Regulation E.…
I open the account with AXOS BANK in XX/XX/XXXX My first direct deposit came in on XX/XX/XXXX My first problem with them was the fact that they promised early deposits for direct deposits up to 2 days. The money came in 2 days early yet I couldn't access it. My online app set available funds were {$1500.00} and I couldn't access one dime. I called the bank they're 24-hour service and they told me that they put a hold on my deposit nowhere did I read that they would hold my deposit. That happened again for XXXX and XXXX. Next issue I have is I went to the ATM to withdraw {$300.00} on XX/XX/XXXX at approx XXXX XXXX and my card was denied and I wasn't able to get any funds nor purchase anything with the card. Once again I called their 24-hour service and they told me " that due to nightly maintenance my card is restricted from XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX every night of the week.…
I am a business customer of Axos Bank. I am attempting to deposit a legitimate check from a health insurance company XXXX with whom I have an established relationship and a history of successful deposits into this same account. The amount of the check is {$1300.00} and the date of the attempted deposit is XX/XX/XXXX. I've tried multiple times throughout the day. Axos Banks mobile deposit system is rejecting the check with the message XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Return Probability. Customer support has been unable to explain the reason for the rejection or provide a workable solution. I've waited minutes only to be connected with someone who eventually re-routes my call because I have a business checking account ( even though I selected that I have a business account on their customer service number 's complaint routing system ). This is interfering with my ability to access funds and conduct normal business operations.…

On XX/XX/year>, Axos XXXX restricted my account after I attempted to close my relationship and transfer my funds to another financial institution. I contacted the bank repeatedly to resolve the issue.…
Axos Bank is in violation of Regulation E. They have split a {$2500.00} fraud event into XXXX separate 'disputes, ' leaving my account with a negative balance. They refused to escalate my call to a supervisor and have not provided provisional credit for this extreme hardship. I have an official FTC Affidavit ( Report # XXXX ) and demand immediate restoration of my funds.
I wish I had read the reviews for this bank before opening an account. Whats happening to me has happened to dozens of people online where the bank mysteriously holds your funds or sends you through a wild goose chase to withdraw your money. Makes me think the bank may be insolvent. I have called dozens of times, requesting to speak to a XXXX. Never received a callback. They told me they opened a case and I would hear from someone in XXXX business days and now its over a week that they have held on to $ XXXX without releasing it to me original bank. I followed their instructions to the T, none of their verification links have actually worked, they told me to open a new account to be able to transfer the money out. That turned out to be a lie and now they are using the fact that I opened a new account to transfer the money out that this was deemed suspicious even though these were the instructions their associates told me to go through.…
To the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am submitting a complaint regarding Axos Banks disclosure of eligibility requirements for the Axos ONE promotional savings Annual Percentage Yield ( APY ). Axos advertises a promotional savings APY of up to 4.21 % when customers meet certain requirements during a monthly qualification period, including receiving at least {$1500.00} in qualifying direct deposits. The promotional terms define a direct deposit as : An electronic ACH deposit of your paycheck or government benefits. The disclosure also lists certain excluded deposit types such as real-time payments, online banking transfers, ATM deposits, mobile check deposits, and person-to-person payments. However, after my previous complaint was filed, Axos Bank informed me in writing that the bank internally requires ACH deposits to be coded under the SEC code PPD ( Prearranged Payment and Deposit ) in order to qualify as a direct deposit for the promotional APY.…
I've been trying to access my funds from Axos bank for the past 3 days. I opened the account last week to try to get a higher interest rate than my current bank and had no idea how many restrictions and hoops would be associated with this account. After not being able to get any answers about when these restrictions would get removed, I requested to close out my account. The service associate let me know there was a {$25000.00} restriction for money money per day ( which I was not told about ), so I would need to move the money out in 2 separate transactions, so I did. I attempt to move the first {$25000.00} as instructed. Then, they sent me a verification link to my email to verify my identity. That link was broken, but since I couldn't verify using the link on time, they cancelled my transaction, which I found out next day.…
XXXX XXXX XXXX : UFB Direct/Axos Bank discriminates against consumers with disabilities. On XX/XX/year>, I had submitted a formal request for a reasonable accommodation to UFB Direct under the Americans with Disabilities Act ( ADA ), 42 U.S.C. 12101. My request specifically asked for the bank to provide a level of service for consumers with communication disabilities ( specifically those who have difficulty with standard telephone and TTY systems ) that is equivalent to the service provided to other customers. To date, I have received no response or acknowledgment of this request from the bank. By failing to respond or provide a clear status of this accommodation, the bank is effectively denying me equal access to manage my financial accounts and receive necessary customer support. Under ADA Title III, banks as " public accommodations '' must ensure effective communication with individuals with disabilities.…
I opened a bank account with Axos Bank and began using it for normal banking activity. Over the past XXXX months I deposited approximately {$6000.00} in legitimate settlement-related funds into the account and used the account for regular transactions. Recently, I received a notice from Axos Bank stating that my Electronic Fund Transfer ( EFT ) services were terminated immediately and that my debit/ATM card was no longer valid. The notice stated that the decision was final and that the bank would not provide any explanation for the account closure. This situation is particularly concerning because this is the second time my account has been closed by Axos Bank. The first time my account was closed, the bank later acknowledged that the closure was made in error. Because of that experience, I trusted that my account would be properly reviewed going forward. The sudden termination of my account services without explanation has created financial disruption for me.…
On XXXX XXXX, I initiated an online application to open an account with Axos Bank. As part of the identityverification process, I submitted all requested documentation, including biometric data and sensitive personally identifiable information ( PII ). On XXXX XXXX, I provided the additional documents Axos requested for vetting. On XXXX XXXX, I received an email from Axos stating that I could not be vetted, but the message did not include any explanation, reason code, or next steps. When I contacted Axos customer service line for clarification, the representatives were unable to provide any information regarding why the vetting failed or what specific issue prevented the account from being opened. During that call, I explained that Axos intake system had successfully captured and processed my documentation, including biometric identifiers and sensitive PII, without any indication of an error.…

I have been through back and forth dilemmas with this institution all day long regarding {$380.00} that I just recieved via payroll check and am trying to use it to feed my family and I.
