I am disputing a reporting error by BMW Financial Services ( BMWFS ). While I have paid the {$380.00} disposition balance in full ( Conf # XXXX ) to show good faith, I am requesting a Full Deletion of this record due to documented procedural and reporting failures. 1. Digital Billing Failure : For 36 months, I managed this lease via autopay and the MyBMW portal. Upon lease-end, BMWFS failed to upload a formal invoice to this established channel. The " view final bill '' link leads only to an " End of Term Inspection '' which lists " Estimated '' charges and contains no due date. BMWFS admits in XXXX XXXX # XXXX that supplemental emails sent were " alerts '' that lacked any mention of a balance or due date. XXXX. Admission of Reporting Error ( XXXX Evidence ) : Following a dispute, Equifax recently updated my report to remove the " Date Major Delinquency 1st Reported '' field, which BMWFS had originally listed as XXXX exact same day as the " Date of 1st Delinquency ''.…

On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with BMW Financial escalations supervisor XXXX regarding the missing information letter I received. She adamantly advised me, that the only way BMW Financial would accept the requested mileage was to complete, and return the document signed with complete mileage, so I did. In addition, I included my odometer disclosure statement with accurate mileage at the time of trading the BMW lease to XXXX. Afterwards, a few hours later I contacted BMW escalations supervisor XXXX again to confirm receipt. Now, she informed me, that she received the information. However, couldnt accept the mileage from me, that the mileage was only accepted from the XXXX, Maryland BMW dealership, and only accepted with the payoff. According to XXXX, XXXXXXXX Maryland BMW dealership submitted the payoff WITHOUT including the mileage. BMW Financial customer service is unscrupulous. Not to mention, XXXX is passive aggressive regarding customer support.…

Complaint Regarding Service Contract, Vehicle Condition, Loan Reporting Concerns, and Lack of Response XXXX BMW of XXXX XXXX XXXX I am submitting this complaint regarding my experience with XXXX BMW of XXXX XXXX XXXX related to the purchase and financing of a Certified Pre-Owned ( CPO ) vehicle, a service contract, and ongoing issues involving communication, loan reporting, and vehicle condition. At the time of purchase, I was sold a mechanical repair service contract in the amount of {$3800.00}. This contract was presented in a manner that led myself and my cosigner to understand it functioned similarly to a maintenance coverage plan. However, the terms, scope of coverage, and cancellation/refund policy were not clearly explained, and I do not have access to complete documentation clearly outlining what is included. I was not provided physical copies, and the electronic materials provided at the time of sale do not clearly identify or make accessible the full contract details.…
After 48 months of on time payment and having a great credit history BMW Financial Services put a collection on my credit reports AFTER the vehicle was returned and vehicle lease was satisfied. I called and told it was linked to condition report but could not get any further information then out of the blue I get a collection notice. This is undeserving without any attempts to settle or give information as to where these charges are related to and without any opportunity to remedy the situation after XXXX years of timely payments and excellent credit history. I do not know what or why the {$1700.00} they are attempting to collect comes from after a satisfied lease with under allowed milage - I purchased a vehicle from another manufacturer after repleaded and very insistent sales calls from BMW... I guess that is their way of thanking their customers and punishing them for not purchasing another BMW.…

To Whom It may concern, Im contacting you because an account with my information suddenly appeared in your system and is now being reported to the credit bureaus. Before I make any decisions or take any responsibility for something I dont fully understand, I need clarity and documentation. I am disputing this account and requesting validation under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. This is not a refusal to pay. I simply need proof that the information youre reporting is accurate, that I am the correct person, and that your company has the legal right to collect or furnish the account. Right now, what you have provided is not enough for me to confirm anything. To properly review and verify this matter, I am asking for the following : 1. A breakdown of what this alleged balance is based on, including dates and itemized charges. 2. Documents showing where this obligation originated and how your company obtained it. 3.…
I am submitting a complaint regarding an auto lease transaction facilitated through BMW of XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) and financed through BMW Financial Services. At the time of the transaction, the credit application used to obtain financing reflected income information that does not accurately represent my actual earnings. I believe the application may have been prepared or submitted by the dealership in a manner that materially overstated my income, which directly impacted approval of the lease. In addition, a significant amount of negative equity from a prior vehicle was incorporated into the lease, resulting in a monthly payment that is not consistent with my actual financial capacity. I would also note that in a separate transaction involving a XXXX BMW XXXX XXXX, the credit application reflected income at approximately {$200000.00}, which does not align with my actual earnings. That vehicle was subsequently taken back by BMW.…

I leased a XXXX BMW XXXX from XXXX BMW in XXXX. After the lease was terminated I was looking for a new BMW. When we sat down to build a new car I stated I did not want the wheels that BMW suggested in the build because they crack and bend and need numerous repairs. All fees were waived because I was going into a new car and I have never paid a lease return fee since I started leasing with the same dealership since XXXX. I have leased their flagship XXXX XXXX, BMW XXXX, and XXXX. After the deal did not go anywhere BMW deceitfully sent the balance of {$380.00} to collections? The never called me once to which I verified email and telephone # with XXXX of BMW Financial Services on XX/XX/XXXX. Further more, BMW would send all payment request to my email for the last 14 years when a payment was due. BMW could have called or emailed me at anytime with readily accessible information but choose the spiteful and malicious cause harm to me credit profile.
To Whom It May Concern, I am filing a formal complaint regarding the continued reporting of the following account on my credit report : Creditor : BMW Financial Services/Credit Account Number : XXXX This account was opened on XX/XX/XXXX and is reported as paid and closed as of XX/XX/XXXX. The vehicle associated with this loan was sold, and the account was satisfied in full. I am disputing the continued reporting of this account on the basis of obsolescence and aging. Given the age of this account and the fact that it is no longer active, I am requesting an early exclusion and removal from my credit report. Additionally, I am requesting full and complete verification of this account in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. This includes, but is not limited to, original signed agreements, complete payment history, and documentation supporting the accuracy of all reported data, including dates, balances, and status.…
I am filing this complaint against BMW Financial Services regarding a wrongful repossession and inaccurate balance reporting on my auto loan account. During the financial hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, I contacted BMW Financial Services and entered into a payment arrangement in good faith. Despite this active arrangement, my vehicle was still repossessed. Following the repossession : My account was marked as a charge-off The account was transferred to recovery A deficiency balance of {$4100.00} is being reported I dispute this balance and the reporting for the following reasons : XXXX. XXXX occurred despite an active payment arrangement, which I complied with. 2. The {$4100.00} deficiency balance has not been properly validated. I am filing a complaint regarding inaccurate credit reporting and improper account handling by BMW Financial Services ( Account No. XXXX ). A payment in the amount of {$410.00} was properly received and credited to my account on XX/XX/XXXX. However, on XX/XX/XXXX, BMW Financial Services reversed this payment and reported it as a returned item, adding the amount back to my account along with a fee. After contacting BMW Financial Services, I was informed that this reversal resulted from an internal processing error involving a batch of checks that were inadvertently mailed back. I was explicitly told that this error was on BMWs end and not caused by me or my financial institution. Despite this acknowledgment, BMW Financial Services has failed to correct my account. My account is now being reported as past due, and I have received a past-due notice attempting to collect on an amount that is not owed.…
I am submitting this complaint regarding the reporting of a single 30-day late payment on my account. This late payment was the result of an isolated issue involving timing of my direct deposit and an auto-payment that was returned. The payment was subsequently made and the account has otherwise maintained a strong and positive payment history. I previously submitted a goodwill adjustment request, which was denied. I then submitted a second goodwill request via certified mail, which was delivered on XX/XX/year>, and I have proof of delivery. This request is not a dispute of accuracy, but rather a request for a goodwill adjustment based on my overall history as a responsible customer. I have had multiple accounts with BMW Financial Services, all of which have been paid as agreed, and this late payment does not reflect my true credit behavior.…
I am filing this complaint against BMW ( US ) XXXX XXXX for dual reporting errors : an incorrect 1099-C and wrongful credit reporting of a repossession ( Account # XXXX ). Credit Reporting Error : My credit report incorrectly shows a 'repossession ' for a XXXX XXXX XXXX ( VIN : XXXX ). This vehicle was a 36-month lease, not a loan, and all 36 payments were made in full. Furthermore, the contract was in the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX, yet the derogatory mark is being reported against my name ( XXXX XXXX ). No repossession ever occurred. Tax Reporting Error : I received an incorrect 1099-C for XXXX claiming {$13000.00} in discharged debt. Because the lease was paid in full and the contract was not in my name, there is no debt to be canceled. I am requesting that the company immediately delete the repossession from my credit reports and issue a corrected 1099-C to the IRS showing a {$0.00} discharge. ''
On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with a BMW Financial Services representative regarding my past-due balance. During that call I was told I had until XX/XX/XXXX to pay the remaining XXXX balance ( approximately {$310.00} ) and until XX/XX/XXXX to make my next monthly payment. I was also instructed to call after making that payment to arrange a promise-to-pay plan for the following month until my account became current. I relied on those instructions in good faith and believed my account was compliant with the timeline the BMW representative provided. BMW Financial Services attempted to call me during this period, but because I had been told I had until XX/XX/XXXX to make the next payment, I did not believe the account was at risk of repossession before that date. On XX/XX/XXXX BMW Financial Services repossessed my XXXX BMW XXXX XXXX, which occurred XXXX days before the payment date I had been instructed to follow.…
I am submitting this complaint regarding a delinquent vehicle lease account reported by BMW Financial Services that is severely impacting my ability to obtain employment, housing, and financial stability. The vehicle associated with this lease has always been in the possession and control of my estranged spouse in the state of Hawaii. I reside in Florida and have not had possession or operational control of the vehicle since shortly after the lease originated in XX/XX/year>. My spouse has been responsible for making payments on the lease while retaining full possession of the vehicle. However, she has made inconsistent and partial payments which have resulted in repeated delinquency reporting on my credit file. This reporting is causing severe financial harm despite the fact that I have no control over the vehicle or the payments being made. After several attempts to have her or BMW Financial remove me from the lease I have been met with no answers or solutions.…
In XX/XX/2024, I leased a XXXX XXXX through XXXX XXXX XXXX and financed it through BMW Financial Services. At the time of signing, the dealer explicitly informed me that my first payment would be automatically covered as part of the lease transaction and that no payment was due from me. As this was my first lease in over 20 years, I relied on this guidance in good faith. As a direct result of the dealer 's erroneous instructions, I was unaware that a payment was due and incurred one late payment. Upon discovering the error, I immediately brought my account current and have made every payment on time since - a record spanning over two years. I have submitted two formal goodwill deletion requests in writing to BMW Financial Services asking that this single late payment be removed from my credit report given the circumstances. Both requests were denied.…
In XX/XX/XXXX I financed a new XXXX vehicle through XXXX XXXX XXXX ( BMW Financial Services NA LLC ). Since that time, I have been unable to obtain online access to my loan account. This prevents me from viewing statements, monitoring payment activity, or managing the loan electronically through the companys website. Over the past year ( XXXX ), I have made multiple attempts to resolve this issue by contacting XXXX XXXX XXXX customer support by phone and attempting to access the online portal. Despite repeated attempts, I have not been able to obtain working access to my account or a clear explanation for why access is being denied. Because I was unable to monitor my account online, I was unaware that my bank had failed to send one of my automatic payments. As a result, my account became past due without my knowledge. I did not receive any direct phone calls or email notifications from XXXX XXXX XXXX regarding the missed payment.…
My monthly auto loan payment was set to autopay, but the autopay failed and I did not discover it in time. This caused my account to become past due. On XX/XX/XXXX at approximately XXXX XXXX, my vehicle was repossessed from a private parking space at my friends residence. Around XXXX XXXX that same day, I discovered the vehicle was missing and called XXXX. Police informed me the vehicle had been repossessed due to delinquency. I immediately contacted BMW Financial Services ( BMW XXXX ) to resolve the delinquency. On XX/XX/XXXX, I paid the past-due amount in full and took an XXXX to the storage/location BMW XXXX provided to retrieve the vehicle. When I first saw the vehicle at the lot, I clearly observed a large inward dent/damage on the passenger-side door frame/body area ( the damage was obvious and was present at the time I picked up the vehicle ). I reported the damage to BMW XXXX immediately.…
I am filing this complaint against BMW Financial Services for furnishing inaccurate and/or incomplete late payment information to consumer reporting agencies and failing to conduct a reasonable investigation after receiving notice of my dispute. My auto loan account ( ending in XXXX ) reflects multiple 30-day late payment notations in XXXX and XXXX, despite inconsistencies within the reporting history and incomplete delinquency data. The reporting includes irregular payment coding and missing or incomplete XXXX XXXX fields, including the Date of First Delinquency. After disputing the reporting, the account continued to reflect the alleged late payments without BMW Financial Services providing documented proof substantiating the delinquency.…
I am filing a complaint against BMW Financial Services regarding their refusal to refund an insurance overpayment related to my leased vehicle that was declared a total loss. My leased BMW vehicle was recently totaled in an accident. My auto insurance company issued a payment directly to BMW Financial Services to satisfy the lease payoff balance. The insurance payment exceeded the total payoff amount owed on the lease. The confirmed overpayment amount is approximately {$5600.00}. BMW Financial Services has acknowledged receipt of the insurance funds and the existence of the overpayment. However, they have refused to issue a refund to me and instead stated that the funds can only be applied toward leasing or purchasing another BMW vehicle. Additionally, I currently have another active BMW account. I requested that the overpayment be credited toward my existing BMW Financial Services account, but they also refused to apply the funds to that account.…
I am disputing lease-end charges assessed by BMW Financial Services on a 36-month vehicle lease that ended on XX/XX/year>. The vehicle was returned on XX/XX/year> with XXXX miles, well below the XXXX allowance. BMW assessed excess wear charges, including {$900.00} for three tire replacements and {$600.00} for a windshield crack. I disputed these charges in writing. After review, BMW acknowledged inspection issues and waived the windshield charge. However, BMW continues to insist the tire charges are valid based solely on a tread-depth threshold, without addressing whether the condition of the tires is reasonable or consistent with expected durability given the vehicles exceptionally low mileage. I am not disputing that the tires may have met BMWs stated tread-depth threshold at return. Rather, I am disputing the attribution of responsibility for early tire wear to the consumer when the vehicle was used lightly and within normal driving conditions.…
BMW sent me a 1099C for the deficiency balance after XXXX years of non payment or collection activity. Also on the 1099C they failed to fill out box number XXXX, which should have been filled to offset my original investment. XXXX
I paid off my car in XXXX of 2024 and BMW still will not give me my title! When I last contacted them in XXXX they said they would mail it to me. Its almost XXXX and still no title! I contacted the XXXX but they said they need a certified release letter in order for them to give me my title. I havent been able to either from BMW. I will never buy another BMW again!
A bill payment in amount of {$1.00}, XXXX was made on XX/XX/XXXX from my bank, bank rep confirmed payment sent electronically to XXXX, a screenshot showing payment is attached to this complaint. It appears payment has not posted as of today, XX/XX/XXXX. The payment may have gone to incorrect account number, I believe I copy and pasted account number when bill pay set up prior to payment. Please note, this payment is intended to cover month of XXXX, a manual payment posted to account today, XX/XX/XXXX, the amount of {$1000.00} which i attempted to cancel as I had already made previously mentioned bill payment. Unfortunately, the payment dated XX/XX/XXXX did not show as pending or anywhere on XXXX website, no ability or option to cancel. I called XXXX several times to cancel ; they are not open weekends, this payment posted today on Monday.…
I have disputed this debt multiple times. My ex-husband went to a car dealership and said he had power of attorney over me to sign for me. Which was a lie. I was never aware of the possibility account being opened. I never benefited from this account being opened. I also filed a police report, upon my divorce proceedings, The judge declared that the debt was my ex-husbands and I was not responsible for it. I have sent in these documents and I have also said that that signature did not match mine and they just ignore it.
In XX/XX/year>, I entered into a vehicle lease with BMW Financial Services. The vehicle delivered to me was used, not new. I made regular monthly payments of approximately {$720.00}. Years later, after the vehicle was taken without prior notice, I requested complete and original lease and account records. In response, BMW Financial Services submitted documents that contain material inconsistencies and appear to be reconstructed or altered, including : The vehicle being falsely represented as new instead of used Missing or incomplete address information Missing agent names and insurance verification details Unidentified or illegible signatures Inconsistent lessor identification Documents that do not reflect contemporaneous records from XXXX These records were presented as authentic despite clear discrepancies, raising serious concerns of fraud and forged or fabricated documents.…
