Credit card· Problem with a purchase shown on your statementTX

XXXX On XXXX XXXX in XXXX Tx On or about XX/XX/year>, I purchased a XXXX XXXX from the store. A deposit was charged to my store-branded credit card account. At that time, my personal ring was also provided to the store for purposes of setting the new stone, resizing the band, and applying rhodium plating. The ring was originally sent by accident to the wrong place and effectively lost and not able to be worked on for over ten days. Then On or about XX/XX/year>, the store manager passed along from the jeweler representative that : 1. The XXXX XXXX could not be set into the ring due to the structure/design of the ring ; 2. The requested resizing could not be completed without damaging the rings design ; and 3. No rhodium plating services were performed. As a result, the transaction for the XXXX XXXX was canceled by the store manager. I took back my original ring.

Issue : Denial of advertised {$100.00} sign-up promotional credit due to documented internal banking software/mailing errors and inadequate escalation resolution. I am filing a formal complaint against Comenity Capital Bank for breach of promotional terms regarding my XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card. The bank has refused to honor an advertised {$100.00} introductory spending credit, explicitly citing an automated 90-day system clock, while completely ignoring the fact that the bank 's own administrative errors physically prevented me from receiving or activating the card for nearly four months. The Operational Timeline & Errors : 1. My application was approved on XX/XX/XXXX. 2. Systemic Software Glitch : A Comenity representative previously confirmed to me that the bank experienced an internal software error that truncated my address and failed to print my complete unit number, causing multiple delivery failures. 3.

I used this card responsibly and had no late payments, no delinquencies, and a {$0.00} balance. Despite this, Comenity closed the account on XX/XX/XXXX without any request from me. This closure occurred immediately after I filed involuntary unemployment and XXXX benefit claims on my other Comenity account and other XXXX accounts that use the same Protection programs.

I attempted to pay my credit card balance in full with Comenity Bank in XX/XX/year>, and believe I did so but there was {$3.00} of residual interest due on the account. It should be noted on their paynow page, there is no indication that there could be residual interest still due on the account. 60 days later I was contacted by phone from the creditor by a collections rep that spoke down to me saying I was not taking responsiblity for my debts, and that I had a past due balance. This was confusing given I paid the balance to {$0.00} and had not used the card since. I come to find out now that I was reported 30 days late in XXXX, but was not aware of the balance due until the call the occured today, XX/XX/XXXX. When I asked probing questions on this matter and requested consideration to waive the fees, I was spoken down to by the representative and was hung up on.

Due to the lack of response, I escalated this to a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX complaint against XXXX ( Complaint # XXXX ).

This is the 3rd time Comenity Bank for Torrid Credit Card has contacted a co-worker about and discussed my credit card debt with her because we have the same last name. She just forwarded me a recorded message left again on her cell phone about my credit card. I have asked them on numerous ocassions to stop contacting co workers, employers, friends about my debt! Now this is negatively affecting my employment. It shouldn't be a legal form of collection to harass anyone they choose to in order to gain attention.

Subject : Formal Complaint Regarding Unexpected Interest Charges on Promotional Financing Respected Team, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding unexpected and excessive interest charges applied to my account after completing a 12-month promotional payment plan. In XX/XX/year>, I purchased a ring from XXXX XXXX and was offered a 12-month interest-free payment option. I accepted this offer and set up auto-pay for the full 12 months, believing this would fully satisfy the balance without any interest, as represented at the time of purchase. At no point during the purchase processor afterwardwas I clearly informed that : * The financing was managed through Bread Financial in connection with XXXX XXXX, or * A high interest rate would be applied immediately after the 12-month promotional period, or * That failure to pay the entire balance by a specific date would result in such a large interest charge.

I recently reviewed my credit reports and discovered multiple accounts, collections, late payments, inquiries, and other negative information that I do not recognize or believe were authorized by me. I also found inaccurate personal information associated with my credit file, including incorrect names, phone numbers, addresses, and employment information. Some of the accounts appear to have been opened or reported between XXXX and XXXX without my knowledge or consent. I attempted to dispute several of these items directly with the credit bureaus after discovering the inaccuracies. Despite my disputes, many of the negative items continued reporting without sufficient documentation being provided to me proving the accounts belong to me. I am requesting a full investigation into the unauthorized and inaccurate information appearing on my consumer reports.

I am filing a formal complaint against Comenity Bank for severe violations of the Fair Credit Billing Act ( FCBA ) and predatory accounting practices regarding my Woman Within credit card account. I am filing this complaint against Comenity Bank regarding a XXXX retail credit card account. I recently completed an 18-month 0 % promotional period. Due to an honest oversight, I missed the exact expiration deadline by a very narrow window. As a result, Comenity Bank retroactively applied a massive lump-sum deferred interest charge to my account. I immediately contacted customer service and a supervisor to resolve this. I explicitly offered to pay off the entire remaining principal balance in full over the phone immediately if they would grant a one-time goodwill waiver for the interest. The bank refused to review my positive payment history or offer a goodwill exception, stating they could not reverse a 'valid charge. ' I am not disputing the contract terms, but rather requesting an executive review for a standard industry goodwill adjustment. I am fully prepared to close out the original principal balance today if the deferred interest charge is waived.

I applied for an XXXX XXXX credit card after receiving a pre-approval notice. Comenity/Bread Financial required me to call and verify information. After verification, I was told I was approved and that the card would be sent. I was not told that I was being approved for or issued a different credit product. I later learned Comenity issued an XXXX XXXX card instead of the XXXX XXXX. This is a materially different product. The XXXX XXXX can be used anywhere Visa is accepted, while the XXXX XXXX card is a store-only XXXX credit card. I did not authorize Comenity to open a XXXX account in place of the XXXX account I applied for. Comenity is now telling me I must cancel and reapply, which would create additional credit-report damage for a problem caused by Comenitys handling of the application and clear failure to disclose what they were doing. This is clearly deceptive business practices on the part of Comenity.

I am submitting this complaint regarding my financing account with Zales because I believe I was misled about the promotional financing terms and unfairly charged excessive interest. I made purchases through a promotional financing plan with the understanding that I would not be charged interest if the balance was paid within the promotional period. Unfortunately, after the promotional period ended on XX/XX/year>, I was charged approximately {$900.00} in deferred interest at an extremely high rate of nearly 38 %. At the time, I had recently been sick and was unable to make the payment before the promotional deadline. However, I was never clearly informed that missing the deadlineeven by a short periodwould result in retroactive interest being applied to the entire original balance. Had this been properly explained, I would have handled the account differently and paid the remaining balance sooner.

I purchased an engagement ring through a XXXX XXXX XXXX plan in approximately XX/XX/year>. I intended to pay for the ring at time of purchase, but the sales clerk aggressively pushed this financing plan. I have never missed a payment and I have maintained the account in good standing. At the time of purchase, I did not understand that the financing was structured as deferred-interest financing where substantial retroactive interest would be charged from the original purchase date if any balance remained after the promotional period expired. I was led to believe it functioned more like a standard promotional installment plan. I also did not receive monthly statements at my residence warning that the promotional expiration date was approaching. After discovering approximately {$3000.00} in retroactive interest charges, I immediately contacted customer service multiple times seeking a reasonable resolution and even offered to promptly pay the remaining principal balance in full.

Waited for the next billing cycle, and still no credit. Started a dispute with the bank ( XXXX ) and Catherines Credit Card.
