This is regarding XXXX ID : XXXX with Coinbase. They charged me {$290.00} for the past 11 months even though I canceled by Coinbase XXXX Subscription. My account was dormat with no transactions for 11 months but yet they kept charging me with no email, notification that I was being charged. They also charged using the balance in Coinbase so it never hit my bank account and I had no way of knowing I was being charged as they didn't send any communication on it. I reached out to them to refund. They acknowledged my account was not being used and that no communication about charge was sent but declined to credit anything beyond 3 months. I told them I never used any of their service and that not sending any notification of charging me monthly is not a consumer friendly practice. I also spent upwards of XXXX hours on chat with them as they would just not give a direct answer to my questions. I'm filing this complaint to get my 11 months refund of {$3200.00} ( {$290.00} * XXXX ).

On XX/XX/year> at XXXX UTC, I initiated a {$230000.00} USDC withdrawal from my Coinbase account to my XXXX XXXX account ( reference : XXXX ). The " Instant Transfer '' option was pre-selected by default in the Coinbase interface. There was no confirmation or overview screen displayed before the transaction executed, giving me no opportunity to review or change the transfer method or see the fee amount. As a result, I was charged a {$1000.00} fee that I did not knowingly authorize. Coinbase 's own help page states fees should be reviewed before completing a transaction, but no such screen was presented. I contacted Coinbase support via live chat ( case # XXXX ) and was denied a refund. The agent confirmed that an overview page should always appear before a transaction executes but it did not in my case, indicating a system error on Coinbase 's platform. I am requesting a full refund of the {$1000.00} fee.

Credit card· Problem when making paymentsCO

I attempted to make XXXX credit card payments using a bank account that was linked and verified through Coinbase 's own Plaid integration both on XX/XX/XXXX for a balance of {$8000.00}, and XXXX days ago for the total balance of over {$9100.00}. Both payments were reversed, and are logged as late, and now the card is suspended and labeled as " delinquent ''. I have never had a late payment in my life, not in cash, check, and credit. I was never notified about a payment reversal from coinbase in a manner that showed on my phone. Coinbase claims the account number was incorrect, but this account had previously been used to successfully transfer funds into Coinbase 's own banking system without issue. I made no changes to my banking information at any point. I contacted Coinbase support and was routed to an AI chatbot that was unable to process my payment or escalate my dispute. When I reached a human agent, no resolution was provided.

The product I was using was Coinbase 15 minute prediction markets. While using these prediction markets I noticed that the price being displayed was misleading and possibly being manipulated in favor of the issuer. After doing some research I realized they used XXXX XXXX XXXX and a XXXX second average to determine the outcome price. While diving deeper and comparing the prices to many other reputable price displaying sources and websites I noticed the the prices being displayed by Coinbase were just plain incorrect. Basically the company was displaying false prices on the prediction markets to lure customers to buying into something without even knowing what they were buying into. In total this lost my account {$7500.00} from XXXX XXXX XXXX. There were numerous different transactions so I have a complete document downloaded from Coinbase directly to show all the transactions and I have screenshots of evidence to also add.

First they had a freeze on my account which I didn't even know about and I did think my balance was wrong but I couldn't see where or how so I figured it was from the predictions fees they seem to sneak in on every bet you make and they sent me an email saying I had a Hold on my account and they would release the {$50.00} adding it to my balance at that time which I never seen it and the way they handle your money there's no way to actually see where it's at since I didn't see it in my balance and this isn't even what my complaint is about. My actual complaint is due to their predictions rulings when you're betting on the 15 minute up or down crypto bets and on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX I placed a bet for yes and placed {$50.00} which the odds were super high 96 percent and the no choice was locked anyways so I wasn't expecting to win much but I knew it was for sure since there were only 2 minutes before it closed and it's just the way that sort of bet works, it's either yes or no so there

On XX/XX/year>, unauthorized activity occurred on my Coinbase account involving rapid buy/sell transactions and liquidation of my crypto assets, resulting in losses of approximately {$7800.00}. I did not discover this activity until XX/XX/year>, when I received notice from my bank that my account was overdrawn due to an unauthorized {$6000.00} transfer to Coinbase. b'This exchange below illustrates the fact that I asked Coinbase for assistance to transfer all my Bitcoin to cold storage (my own wallet). My account is restricted with no reasoning given as you will see below. It has simply referred to their "backend" review that they repeatedly said would take 48 hours. It has been more than 48 hours and I have heard nothing. I am not able to access my Bitcoin AT ALL! I am unable to transfer it or perform any other transactions on the Coinbase site. I was told I would need to liquidate my holdings and this has serious tax implications. I have spent more than 24 hours trying to resolve this with numerous chats. They have said numerous times there is nothing I am able to do to help with this restriction. I have done nothing to give them concern. I have logged in on my computer and the IP address is consistent. They have records of all the chats.

On XXXX XX/XX/year> I tried to access my Coinbase account. If I had a pass key it is gone. There is no account recovery option other than to upload my ID with a live picture. There is no upload picture option so I can not do this on my computer. When I try on my phone the app takes a very blurry picture. This is the only app that does this. Any other picture I take is fine but of course I can't upload that. After trying numerous times it will let me upload the blurry picture but then it wants access to the microphone. There is no legal regulation that I'm aware of that requires me to give microphone access to a company in order to get access to my money even if the microphone did work. I've already verified all of this before when I signed up for the account. I found online that many other people are having this problem. Coinbase is locking us out of our account and blaming government regulations for using ineffective and intrusive " security '' practices.
