So i already talk to zelle and bank both company when i called bank about my zelle restriction they said we do not have access for zelle then i called to zelle company about to lift my restriction bcz i am not capable to make transfer they said we can not lift your restriction. So what do i need to do now i already made a camplaint about the bank that they are not giving me any solution. Still they are not giving me any solutions for my zelle this complaint is for early warning company please contact them. They can lift the restriction maybe. The complaint is for XXXX XXXX XXXX and early warning company for both because both are bot giving any resolution for my zelle restriction and they do not have any specific reason for restriction
I opened a new checking account with XXXX and deposited my personal funds into the account. Shortly after opening the account, XXXX placed a restriction on my account and froze access to all of my money. I was informed that another bank was reporting a negative balance through Early Warning Services and that there was an attempt to collect the alleged debt. I dont have business with either of this company. Im now finding out about all of this XXXX has not provided me with the name of the reporting bank, the amount allegedly owed, or a clear explanation of why my funds are restricted. I have not authorized XXXX to use my funds to pay any debt owed to another financial institution. My understanding is that the account is being restricted based only on a banking history report, and I am concerned about whether my funds are being held legally.
Zelle has failed to properly investigate my claims and assisting in recovering my lost funds with my financial institution. Zelle informed me that recovering a {$2000.00} transaction made on my financial institutions website on XX/XX/year> was not possible, despite the CFPB stating in recent times that Zelle has failed to properly and adequately protect its users and consumers. In addition to that, they refuse to properly assist with investigating these claims with the financial institution, leaving average Zelle users vulnerable to financial exploitation using a service their bank permits them to use. I have attempted to settle this matter 3x now to no avail.
I have a XXXX years of banking relationship with XXXX and XXXX has been my primary account for Salary deposits through out this time. So, when it was time for opening a representative payee account for my XXXX yo XXXX XXXX daughter, I naturally chose XXXX as my bank. I opened this account with XXXX on XX/XX/2026. On that very night I received email that my Zelle account has been deleted and all my chase accounts ( including the newly opened XXXX for my daughter ) are being closed. When I went into the bank branch next day, i was told that my relationship with XXXX was done and they will be sending all my account balance as check to my house. I did not give up and raised the issue with Branch XXXX who then spoke to customer service and found that my accounts were being restricted incorrectly ( apparently somebody else 's company XXXX matching with my SSN causing issue ). So all my bank accounts were reinstated by the next day, except for Zelle.…
I am requesting a review of a restriction that has prevented me from using my phone number and email address via Zelle for approximately XXXX years. Several years ago, I purchased an item from an individual who instructed another buyer to send their payment to me through Zelle because the seller said they were unable to receive the payment directly. Believing this was a legitimate transaction, I accepted the payment and then forwarded the funds to the seller as requested. I later learned that the sender reported the payment as fraudulent. I did not know the sender personally, and I did not know that the transaction was part of what appears to have been a scam. I did not intend to participate in or facilitate fraud. My former bank, Wells Fargo, advised me that my Zelle restriction is controlled by Zelle ( Early Warning Services ) and that the bank is unable to remove it. I no longer have an account with XXXX XXXX.…
I am a victim of identity theft. My account accounts were closed because of fraudulent transactions that I have no knowledge of I had multiple accounts opened up with the same bank in my name that I have no knowledge of, and I can not open a new account because of this. this needs to be fixed.
On XX/XX/year> there was an unauthorized withdrawal from my XXXX XXXX XXXX account for {$10.00}. It shows as : Withdrawal ZELLE XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is an unknown person at an unknown address. That same day there was also an attempt to withdraw {$10000.00} from my wife 's account ( declined by the XXXX ) by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The XXXX contacted us. We told them we had never created a ZELLE account under my wife 's account. They said one was created in XX/XX/year>. That was not done by either my wife or myself. Further research showed that my email had been compromised & the phone number changed from my number to XXXX. Any ID checks would probably have gone to that number rather than to me. All accounts have been replaced, ID 's & all passwords also changed to prevent further compromise. The XXXX contacted ZELLE & attempted recovery, but ZELLE refused.
b"Please review the attached documents for clear and concise proof that I sent a Zelle payment to XXXX XXXX enrolled as XXXX XXXX XXXX This is the person to whom I attempted to send XXXX via Zelle to and they are correct intended recipient. \n\nSomehow, the Zelle payment was sent to XXXX XXXX (yes, the exact same phone number) who is enrolled in Zelle as XXXX XXXX. I have no idea who this is, how the funds were sent to them instead, I have no way to contact them, there is no business information for them online, and they are not the intended recipient. \n\nThe Zelle payment sent on XXXX XXXX XXXX, needs to be reversed. It is a cut and dry issue. A clear system or enrollment conflict exists with the recipient phone number. As shown in the attachments, entering this exact same phone number brings up two completely different enrolled identities within Zelle's system.\n\nThank you"
I am reaching out to someone to express my concerns using and regarding Zelle and how they deal with disputes mainly in the light of the CFPB lawsuit handling issues with the platform. Despite using Zelle repeatedly and reporting discrepancies, my financial institution XXXX XXXX and Zelle failed to investigate my claim sufficiently. They notified me that recovering lost funds is futile and tracking this transaction is impracticable. The CFPBs findings indicate that Zelle has not only neglected to protect consumers but also has allowed repeated offenders to exploit the system, leaving users vulnerable to scams. The lack of accountability and transparency is truly distressing and unacceptable and raises serious concerns about consumer safety.
My zelle account is linked to the XXXX account but my zelle phone number is no longer in use. And my XXXX account been closed. I need to try and access funds.
Zelle and XXXX said they can not retrieve my funds once I send them via Zelle to any recipient. I was trying to rent a property and after paying them a {$190.00} application fee then {$1000.00} toward the security deposit, I found after receiving the rental agreement that the name listed on the Deed at the XXXX office did not match his. I have asked him to send the funds back and have yet to receive them. I filed a report with the FBI on him.

I am a XXXX Bank customer who uses Zelle through XXXX app. I have a legitimate contact named XXXX XXXX who provides social media services, and I have paid her through Zelle before. On the date of this transaction, I attempted to send her a payment. My first attempt failed during a login/verification step. I retried, selecting a XXXX XXXX entry that I believed was the same contact. I later learned this entry was not my contact. It was a separate, business-registered Zelle account tied to XXXX XXXX for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX under the category social the same description as my real contacts services. I never searched for this name or business. The entry displayed no phone number and no email for me to verify the recipients identity before sending funds. I contacted the business owner directly. He confirmed he is the sole operator, has never employed anyone named XXXX XXXX, and has no knowledge of how her account became associated with his business identity.…
I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding Zelle 's handling of disputes, particularly in light of the recent CFPB lawsuit highlighting significant issues with the platform. Despite using Zelle numerous times and reporting discrepancies, my financial institution and Zelle failed to investigate my claims adequately. They informed me that recovering lost funds was impossible and that tracking these transactions was unfeasible. The CFPB 's findings indicate that Zelle has not only neglected to protect consumers but has also allowed repeat offenders to exploit the system, leaving users vulnerable to scams. This lack of accountability and transparency is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about consumer safety.
ADDENDUM TO COMPLAINT : ALLEGATION OF RETALIATORY DISCRIMINATION AND SYSTEMIC OBSTRUCTION I am updating this complaint to formally charge Early Warning Services , LLC ( EWS ) with retaliatory discrimination and gross administrative negligence. Since I filed my initial inquiry ( CFPB Case No. XXXX ) to request the release of my telephone number, EWS has engaged in a systematic campaign of blocking my identity across every financial institution I utilize. My Zelle access was revoked at XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX and XXXX immediately following my attempts to resolve this with EWS. I have already provided EWS with my Drivers License, military ID, and bank statements through their requested channels. Despite this, they continue to hide behind evasive 'internal security ' scripts. This is no longer a simple technical error ; this is punitive data suppression.…
I am a victim of identity theft with seven fraudulent bank accounts appearing on my Early Warning Services consumer file XXXX XXXX account XXXX, XXXX account XXXX, XXXX XXXX account XXXX, XXXX XXXX account XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX checking account XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX savings account XXXX, and XXXX XXXX XXXX checking account XXXX. These fraudulent entries have prevented me from opening any bank account since XXXX despite being a full-time employed professional earning {$20000.00} per month. I submitted my FTC Identity Theft Report number XXXX to XXXX via their secure portal on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX confirmed they read my submission on XX/XX/XXXX. Under 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2 they were required to block all fraudulent entries within 4 business days by XX/XX/XXXX. That deadline has passed and XXXX has not confirmed any block or sent me an updated report.

I. DECLARATION OF URGENCY AND SYSTEMIC DATABASE DISCRIMINATION I am filing this formal complaint to address a severe case of systemic institutional negligence and automated profile defamation perpetrated exclusively by Early Warning Services , LLC ( EWS ). As an active-duty XXXX currently undergoing a rigorous military training phase, my time is exceptionally limited, and my ability to manage complex administrative disputes is practically non-existent. Immediate, unhindered access to my digital payment channels is an absolute operational necessity required to meet time-sensitive payment obligations while I am away on duty. The target entity, Early Warning Services , LLC, is currently operating in direct non-compliance with consumer protection standards by maintaining obsolete, damaging risk flags within its centralized database.…
I sent money to a fraudulent account via Zelle, I tried to get the money refunded by filing a claim through my XXXX XXXX account and I just got a mail that said my claims were denied.
My credit report is showing multiple accounts that I did not open, authorize, or have any relationship with. These accounts appear under several financial institutions, including XXXX Bank, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX Bank, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX Bank, and XXXX. As stated in my FTC report, this inaccurate information is negatively affecting my credit profile and the accounts listed were not opened or authorized by me. These entries are incorrect, do not belong to me, and are creating an inaccurate and harmful representation of my credit history.
On XXXX XXXX,2026 the was a payment of {$65.00} sent that I was unaware of. Despite using Zelle numerous times and reporting discrepancies, my financial institution and Zelle have failed to investigate my claims adequately. They informed me that recovering lost funds was impossible and that tracking these transactions were unfeasible. The CFPBs findings indicate that Zelle has not only neglected to protect consumers but has also allowed offenders to exploit the system, leaving users vulnerable to scams. The lack of accountability and transparency is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about consumer safety.

On XX/XX/year>, I was the victim of a fraudulent vacation rental transaction that was conducted through Zelle. I responded to an online advertisement for a rental property located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, PA XXXX. The individual advertising the property communicated with me using the email address [ XXXX ] ( XXXX : XXXX ) and instructed me to send payment via Zelle to [ XXXX ] ( XXXX : XXXX ). I am filing a complaint regarding a Zelle transaction processed through my financial institution. I sent over {$950.00} via Zelle to an individual for a custom prom dress. The product was not delivered as agreed ; it arrived late for my prom and was of poor quality, with visible defects and missing components. I was also not informed about additional costs, such as customs fees, prior to payment. I contacted my bank, and they advised me to contact Zelle. Zelle and my bank then communicated with each other, but both stated that they could not recover the funds because Zelle transfers are treated like cashonce sent, they are final. I have been left without a resolution despite following both my banks and Zelles instructions. I am requesting a formal investigation into this transaction, as the seller did not fulfill their obligations and both my bank and Zelle have failed to offer a solution.

I am a long-term XXXX customer who has used XXXX through XXXX for many years without any issues. Recently, I received an email stating that my phone number had been removed from my XXXX Zelle account. When I logged into XXXX, I was shown a message indicating I am no longer eligible to use Zelle. I contacted XXXX customer service, who told me that Zelle placed the restriction and directed me to contact Zelle. I then contacted Zelle, who told me they are only a money transfer service and that the block was placed by XXXX, directing me back to XXXX. On a follow-up call with XXXX, I was told that my phone number and email address would be permanently banned from Zelle through XXXX with no path to reinstatement and no explanation provided. At no point was I given a reason for this action. I was not notified of any dispute, fraud claim, or policy violation. I have received no written explanation.…
I am requesting assistance regarding an unresolved issue involving my access to Zelle through XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. In approximately XX/XX/year>, I received a legitimate {$30.00} Zelle payment from a friend. Shortly afterward, the sender was hospitalized for over a month. During that time, he contacted his bank to report multiple transactions as fraudulent without realizing that the {$30.00} payment sent to me had been included in those disputed transactions. Once he realized the mistake, he informed his bank that the payment sent to me was legitimate and should not have been considered fraud. Despite this correction, my Zelle access was restricted. I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and was informed that any restrictions on their end had been removed. I also contacted Zelle and was advised that the restriction had been lifted. However, within approximately XXXX hours, the restriction was reinstated. Since then, I have repeatedly contacted both XXXX XXXX and Zelle.…
