XX/XX/XXXX, I received an alert and about a new collection account XXXX XXXX, original creditor BMG on my report am filing a complaint regarding a collection account that has been inaccurately and unlawfully placed on my credit report. This account had already been resolved and removed previously, yet it has reappeared without any valid justification. I was never sent the legally required written notice advising me that the account had been placed with a collection agency or informing me of my right to dispute the debt before it was reported to the credit bureaus. Because I did not receive this notice, I was denied the opportunity to dispute or validate the alleged debt within the required timeframe. Reporting this account without providing proper notice has caused unnecessary harm to my credit profile and appears to violate my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ).…

Deceptive Sales Practices and Misrepresentation of Refinancing Services Complaint Details : I am filing this complaint against BMG Money regarding a pattern of deceptive practices and misrepresentation that has caused me significant financial hardship. In [ Insert Month, Year ], I was actively solicited by BMG Money with the promise that if I made payments totaling over {$1000.00} toward my existing account, I would be eligible for a loan refinance. Relying on this explicit promise, I prioritized these payments over other essential living expenses, depleting my income. After I fulfilled their specific monetary requirement, the company abruptly informed me that their refinancing program was unavailable. They failed to disclose this unavailability prior to inducing me to make the payments. Consequently, I was led into a financial transaction under false pretenses.…

Had a loan BMG money I refinanced it and paid it off but Unfortunately they are stating the account is a write off on my credit report they advise they would fix it and as of 1 year it still shows written off when it was refinanced then paid off in full
BMG money is using a bait & switch tactic, promising future refinancing to secure a high-interest loan initially, only to deny it later. This deceptive practice is an act of predatory lending, which is illegal. BMG is misrepresenting loan terms and not give the necessary requirements nor reason of refinancing denials.
The company stated that the debt was sold on XX/XX/year> to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and a promissory note with no signature as validation. Upon opening the letter, it shows XXXX XXXX XXXX is the debt collector. So based on that information, this debt is being reported on my credit report twice. The original creditor should STOP reporting and delete the account IMMEDIATELY because that is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. In addition, the account was not fully validated. I requested a full chain of title ( custody ), breakdown of balance, full account history, and proof of licensure in my state, and I haven't received any of that.
I advised the company Im no longer working due to an illness and was wondering where the extra charges came from. I was advised it will be late fees added each month I am late. I used to pay what I could to the payment until they raised the interest.

I am filing a complaint against BMG Money regarding unauthorized and excessive withdrawals from my allotment. Since approximately XXXX, BMG Money has been deducting an additional {$100.00} on top of my agreed-upon payment of {$110.00}. These extra withdrawals continued for over a year after they changed banking information and failed to stop the additional deduction. I contacted BMG Money to request a refund for the overpayments. However, I was told that they are only able to review and refund transactions from the past 60 days. This is unacceptable, as the overcharges have been ongoing for a much longer period and were not authorized by me. As a result, I have been overcharged thousands of dollars due to BMG Moneys failure to properly manage my account and stop unauthorized deductions. I am requesting the following : 1. A full investigation into my account and payment history. 2. A complete refund of all unauthorized overpayments dating back to when the issue began in XXXX.…
I have a few fraudulent items on my credit report under the code 15 USC 1681c-2
BMG loans disclosed misinformation and changed the terms of the agreement after loan was approved. I was informed that I would be able to refinance after XXXX consecutive payments and the terms have since changed.
I am following up regarding complaint # XXXX because the company previously stated that they were conducting an investigation and would provide written results. To this day, I have not received any documentation, results, or communication from BMG Money. This raises serious concerns as to whether a proper investigation was ever completed. I want to be clear this is not about avoiding payment. My issue is that this account is being reported in a way that is inconsistent, inaccurate, and negatively affecting me, which is not lawful. Upon further review of my credit reports ( all three of which are attached ), I identified multiple discrepancies across the bureaus : Different dates opened Different last reported and last active dates Different high credit amounts Conflicting payment history Most importantly, the payment history is contradictory : One bureau reports charge-offs and late payments Another shows the account as OK for the same time period This is not possible and proves…
In XX/XX/XXXX I obtained a consumer loan from BMG Money ( serviced by BMG XXXX ). The original loan amount was {$2000.00} with payments scheduled bi-weekly. On XX/XX/XXXX the loan was paid in full, and the account balance was satisfied. My loan documentation clearly reflects PAID IN FULL XX/XX/XXXX. BMG_Loan_Documents However, BMG has failed to properly update the account status with the credit reporting agencies. My credit reports continue to show an outstanding balance of approximately {$1700.00} instead of a {$0.00} balance with a paid or closed status. I disputed the inaccurate reporting with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX recently responded that they contacted the furnisher but declined to update the account. Despite the dispute process, BMG continues to report outdated or incomplete information. This is inaccurate and harmful because it makes it appear that I still owe money on an account that has already been fully satisfied.…
I am filing a complaint regarding repeated and excessive phone calls from this company while attempting to collect an alleged debt. Over the past several days I have received approximately XXXX calls per day from this company. The calls are coming from multiple different phone numbers, which appears to be an attempt to bypass call blocking. I have answered several of the calls and clearly told the representatives multiple times to stop calling me and to communicate with me in writing instead. Despite these requests, the calls have continued repeatedly throughout the day. At this point I have received well over XXXX calls after telling them to stop contacting me by phone. This level of repeated calling is disruptive and appears to be harassment. Using multiple phone numbers to continue contacting me after I have requested that the calls stop is unacceptable.…
This company advertises loans for federal employees with the option to refinance. My account says that I needed to make XXXX payments to be qualified to refinance my loan. I have made well over thirty payments and when I try to refinance, the website says they do not offer loans to federal employees. My interest rate is astronomical, seemingly has increased and the loan is predatory. I need to refinance to be able to pay it.
I disputed a loan account reported by BMG LoansAtWork ( on behalf of XXXX ) because I believe the information being reported is inaccurate and unvalidated. I submitted a written dispute requesting documentation showing how the account and balance were validated. On XX/XX/year> BMG responded by email stating they found no inaccuracies, but they did not provide any supporting documentation such as a contract, account statements, payment history, or an itemization of the balance. Despite my dispute, the tradeline remains on my credit reports unchanged. Because BMG did not provide evidence to support its conclusion, I do not believe a reasonable investigation was conducted as required under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. A generic statement that the information is accurate, without documentation, does not resolve the dispute or validity the reporting.
This loan is repaid through my payroll department. XXXX payments are {$140.00} per pay period. On XX/XX/year>, my payroll department erroneously sent my entire check to XXXX ; {$140.00} plus an additional {$1900.00}. On XXXX XXXX, the representative that I spoke with acknowledged the overpayment and advised that the refund would be processed. The representative explained that the timeframe would be outside of the XXXX days that was their original policy. I understood and that. I called the company XX/XX/year>, and their automated system told me that a refund in the amount of {$1900.00} was processed. I have called every weekday since XX/XX/year> and I have not gotten any information outside of what the automated system provided. I have requested a supervisor call back on each phone call. I received a call from a supervisor, XXXX, on XX/XX/year>. She did not offer any new information, so I requested that a XXXX give me a call back. That has not happened as yet.…
Please see email below which I sent to BMG on XX/XX/XXXX. " Dear BMG Money , Inc., This email is a formal demand for the resolution of an outstanding refund owed to me due to continued allotment deductions after my loan was paid in full. I initially reported this error in XX/XX/XXXX. In XXXX, I received correspondence stating that a supervisor would follow up on my case and that, once approved, my refund would be issued via ACH within 35 business days. To date, these commitments have not been met. I have not b een contacted by a supervisor, I have received no confirmation of approval, and the refund has not been issued. This matter has remained unresolved for several months. The total amount owed is over {$2800.00}. I request immediate written confirmation of the following : - The exact refund amount owed. - The current status of my request. - A specific date by which the refund will be issued. I look forward to your timely response. ''
Company : BMG Loans/ BMG Money Issue Type : Debt collection / Loan servicing / Improper credit practices Complaint Narrative I am submitting this complaint regarding BMG Moneys improper handling of my loan account, including sending my account to an outside collection agency without prior notification and without providing me the opportunity to verify or dispute the accuracy of the alleged balance. I was directly affected by workforce cuts, resulting in a salary reduction of approximately {$23000.00} annually. Despite this significant financial hardship, I remained in constant communication with BMG loan representatives, advising them of my situation and making payments to the extent I was financially able. At no time did I refuse to pay or avoid my obligation. As communicated to BMG, reduced income is still income, and I acted in good faith throughout this period.…
I am filing this complaint against BMG Money for inaccurately reporting a delinquent payment for XX/XX/year>, which has resulted in a negative mark on my credit report despite the payment being successfully withdrawn from my bank account. On XX/XX/year>, BMG Money debited {$40.00} from my checking account via debit card. My attached XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX statement confirms that this transaction posted successfully and that sufficient funds were available in my account at the time of the payment. There was no insufficient funds notice, rejection, or failed transaction recorded by my bank. More than a month later, on XX/XX/year>, BMG Money reversed this same {$40.00} payment. I did not request this reversal, did not dispute the charge, and did not initiate any stop payment. The reversal appears to have been initiated internally by BMG Money. Only one payment was refunded, further confirming that the original debit was processed.…
On Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX, it came to my attention that my personal loan with BMG Money was overpaid when I was reviewing my paystubs. I contacted BMG Money by both phone and email multiple times and they stated there were XXXX ( XXXX ) overpayments of my loan and that a refund check would be mailed out, but that there was no set time frame for the refund check to be sent out. I have followed up once a week for XXXX months and it is now Monday, XX/XX/XXXX. 60 days is more than a reasonable amount of time to wait. It is unacceptable to have no set time frame for the refund and there was also no documentation or proof provided that those were the only refunds necessary on my loan. I am now demanding immediate attention to this matter. Please immediately review my loan account, provide documentation that the amount of the refund ( s ) is correct, and send the refund immediately to my bank account. I submitted a complaint to the CFPB on XX/XX/XXXX.…
