LoanCare / XXXX wrongfully truncated an active mortgage forbearance agreement without proper notice or legal justification. Written dispute correspondence was sent directly to the servicer via USPS Certified Mail. Delivery was successfully confirmed through four signed USPS Form 3811 Return Receipt cards. I am writing to address an account being reported on my credit report for which I requested debt validation. I exercised my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and requested proper verification of the alleged debt. However, I have not received sufficient documentation to confirm that this debt is mine, that the amount is accurate, or that the collector has the legal authority to collect. Despite the lack of proper validation, the account continues to be reported on my credit file, which is negatively impacting my credit. I am requesting a full investigation. Any information that can not be properly verified must be removed.
I am requesting the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau investigate the servicing of my FHA mortgage loan because I have received inconsistent and conflicting information from my mortgage servicer regarding my default status, foreclosure status, reinstatement amount, and my opportunity to cure the default. Background I previously experienced a financial hardship due to a family medical emergency and fell behind on my mortgage payments. I have been attempting to work with my mortgage servicer to avoid foreclosure and have repeatedly contacted the company to determine what options remain available to save my home. I previously completed a partial claim and loan modification. More recently, I applied for mortgage assistance again, but my application was denied. I was told the denial was related to a missed trial payment. I could not pay the third payment and called to request additional days to pay.…

CFPB Complaint Description : I am filing a complaint against LoanCare/XXXX XXXX XXXX regarding their handling of insurance claim proceeds for Tornado damage that occurred to my home several months ago on XX/XX/year>. My insurance company approved and issued claim proceeds exceeding {$54000.00}, and the insurance check was promptly endorsed and sent to the mortgage servicer as required. However, since that time, LoanCare has repeatedly delayed, denied, and changed documentation requirements, preventing timely access to funds needed to repair my property. The delays caused by LoanCare 's repeated denials, changing requirements, and prolonged review process have created significant financial hardship for my family. Because insurance proceeds have remained restricted while repairs were delayed, I have been forced to pay for portions of the repairs and related expenses out of pocket. This has depleted my available funds and caused me to fall behind on multiple financial obligations.…

I am filing this complaint regarding multiple mortgage servicing errors by LoanCare , LLC involving my escrow account, homeowners insurance, payment processing, and unauthorized electronic withdrawals. In XX/XX/2026, I enrolled in my mortgage servicer 's AutoPay program and received written confirmation that it had been established. My biweekly payments in XX/XX/2026 were processed without issue, and my mortgage account remained current. On XX/XX/2026, an AutoPay payment of * * {$830.00} * * was successfully drafted from my bank account. After that payment had already been processed, I canceled AutoPay for future payments because I wanted to change my payment schedule. Following the XX/XX/XXXX payment, my mortgage account began reflecting an amount due that was inconsistent with my payment history and my understanding of how the payment should have been applied. Beginning on * * XX/XX/2026 * *, I contacted the servicer multiple times to request that the payment be reviewed and corrected. During several calls, I was told that requests had been submitted for review, that an earlier request had been processed incorrectly, and that the matter remained under investigation.…
I have a XXXX mortgage serviced by LoanCare. I am submitting this complaint because I believe LoanCare mishandled my VA loss mitigation review, failed to properly communicate the status of my XXXX application, failed to respond meaningfully to my deed-in-lieu request, and then allowed the loan to move into foreclosure while preserving possible deficiency judgment rights. In 2025, I was working with LoanCare on VA loss mitigation through the XXXX program. I contacted LoanCare multiple times, at least XXXX or XXXX separate calls, and was told that I had been approved and that I simply needed to wait for paperwork. I relied on those statements. During this time, I was not required to make payments while the XXXX review was pending. I was not clearly informed that the XXXX program was ending or that my file would not be completed before the program expired. After contacting LoanCare again, I was told the XXXX program was no longer available.…

Subject : Request for Reconsideration of Duplicate Complaint Determination New Adverse Actions and Ongoing Servicing Misconduct by LoanCare , LLC To Whom It XXXX Concern, I respectfully request reconsideration of the determination that my most recent complaint against LoanCare , LLC was categorized as a duplicate complaint. While the complaint relates to the same mortgage loan, it is not a duplicate of my prior submission because it involves multiple new adverse actions, new disputes, new requests for information, and continuing conduct by LoanCare that occurred after the filing and response associated with the prior complaint. My prior CFPB complaint focused primarily on LoanCare 's mishandling of my loan modification process, failure to send documents to the correct address, rejection of payments, and resulting foreclosure activity.…
I am filing this complaint against LoanCare for systemic violations of the CARES Act and Regulation X mortgage servicing guidelines regarding XXXX loss mitigation. After experiencing a pandemic-related financial hardship, I successfully secured employment, regained financial stability, and contacted LoanCare to resume making my mortgage payments. I repeatedly requested a loan modification or a payment deferral option so that I could resume my regular monthly payments. LoanCare flatly denied my requests and stated that I was required to pay the entire delinquent balance in a single, massive lump sum to prevent foreclosure. I explicitly informed them that a lump-sum payment was impossible, while reiterating that I was ready and able to resume normal monthly payments. LoanCare then engaged in prolonged administrative delays. They ignored my repeated attempts to contact them, went silent on chat logs, and took an unacceptably long time to communicate with me.…
