Navy Federals latest denial notices, dated XX/XX/2026, repeatedly use the same reason : that you accepted the charge when receiving the service and that Navy Federal can not proceed without a merchant credit acknowledgment. This master complaint explains why that does not resolve a services-not-delivered-as-agreed claim. For XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, it documents the displayed account balance and Redeem function, the paid-entry game and cash-prize representations, the loss of account access, and the automated support process that did not restore access, process a redemption, or issue a refund.

NFCU, continue to manipulate transactions in account to create over draft fee.
I submitted this as a formal billing-error notice and dispute to Navy Federal Credit Union under the Fair Credit Billing Act ( FCBA ) andRegulation Z, 12 C.F.R. 1026.13, regarding the {$76.00} INTEREST CHARGE-PURCHASES appearing on my credit-card statement closing XX/XX/year>, account ending in XXXX. I believe this charge resulted from Navy Federals improper treatment of a {$4000.00} ACH payment reversal that was necessary to correct an erroneous duplicate, unauthorized ACH debit initiated through Navy Federals payment-processing system. My XX/XX/year> statement reflects three ACH payments : XX/XX/XXXX {$4000.00} XX/XX/XXXX {$3000.00} XX/XX/XXXX {$4000.00} These payments, one ( XX/XX/year> - {$4000.00} ) an erroneous, unauthorized duplicate created by Navy FCU 's system, totaled {$11000.00} and resulted in an artificial {$1600.00} credit balance. The XXXX statement reflected no interest charge and a {$0.00} balance subject to purchase interest.…
Navy Federal Credit Union has denied my fraud claims after my card was lost and stolen. I have the exact time of my last known transaction with my physical card in my possession. The charges are abnormal and I was notified of the fraud attempt while I was home after XXXX at XXXX. I would like to request investigation into why my bank would not take action against XXXX and XXXX XXXX station charges in question in this claim and see fit my return of used funds without my authorization. Please provide me with information on how I can insure that the department is doing their job properly and actually investigated this fraud.
I purchased a product on XXXX and used XXXX to complete the transaction. The delivery never occured and instead was delivered to someone else. The proof of delivery indicates someone else signed for my package and I never received it. XXXX denied my claim and states it was delivered, XXXX also claims it was delivered. My bank, navy federal, violated the terms and conditions of our agreement and falsely filled out my chargeback form indicating " I acknowledged receipt '' I did not acknowledge receipt and they have refused my appeal for a chargeback.

I am submitting a new complaint regarding Navy Federal Credit Union 's repeated collection calls. I am receiving approximately XXXX to XXXX telephone calls each day regarding this account while my dispute remains unresolved. I previously filed a CFPB complaint disputing the manner in which my business credit card account was established and Navy Federal 's authority to withdraw funds from my personal checking account. Although Navy Federal responded, it did not provide the account-specific evidence I requested, such as my completed application, any personal guaranty, proof that I knowingly agreed to these terms, or evidence that the representative explained that my Social Security Number would create personal liability and allow withdrawals from my personal checking account. Despite the unresolved dispute, Navy Federal continues to contact me multiple times each day regarding this account.…

XXXX has been charging me interest on the HELOC since XX/XX/year> and NFCU has not credited the account that I hold jointly with my daughter for the {$10000.00} even though XXXX says the money was withdrawn from my HELOC account. I have submitted my previous complaint against XXXX and also attached is the NFCU statement showing the money was not credited to my account. At no time was the {$10000.00} written on the HELOC from XXXX ever credited to the NFCU account. The fix is for NFCU to credit my account the {$10000.00}, which was, according to XXXX deposited in the NFCU account.
Good day, I got in contact with XXXX on the evening of Friday XXXX XXXX, which is a company contracted by Navy Federal. Im in the process of paying off a settlement with them, and they were consistently receiving payments from me, starting in either XXXX and XXXX of XXXX. I noticed they stopped taking payments from me and I had to inquire about it on this day because I didnt know why this happened. The representative that I spoke with couldnt figure out why this was happening and said hed have to have his XXXX look into it and hed reach back out to me on Monday, XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. Instead of them doing as planned, I reached back out to them and spoke with another representative there about the situation. I let her know that XXXX XXXX received no communication from them about the payments stopping because it had been paid off or whether something else had happened. She started the payments back.…
XXXX of XXXX I applied online for a vehicle loan with Navy Federal Credit Union and on the application I was asked if I had a trade in and at the time I planned to trade in the vehicle I had financed through them, and have the dealer to pay that loan off in full. Well I couldnt find the car I wanted so decided to wait. On XX/XX/XXXX I decided to sell my car to XXXX. XXXX sent a check in the full amount for loan payoff to NFCU on XX/XX/XXXX and the check was posted on XX/XX/XXXX. I received an email from NFCU on XX/XX/XXXX congratulating me on paying off my loan, and the loan was no longer showing on my account. About XXXX weeks ago, I noticed the loan was back on my account and so I called NFCU to inquire about it. I was told that the check from XXXX was reversed as of XX/XX/XXXX due to an error on the dealerships part. I was told that I needed to call XXXX to get them to stop the reversal and although I felt that it was not my place to do that, I did so anyway.…
To Whom It XXXX Concern : I am writing to register a formal complaint regarding Navy Federal Credit Union 's ( NFCU ) severe administrative neglect, conflicting instructions, and continued denial of account access for a XXXX veteran. Beginning in XX/XX/XXXX, I sought to establish XXXX of Attorney ( POA ) access to assist this veteran with his checking, savings, and debit card accounts. Over the last XXXX months, Navy Federal personnel have repeatedly provided shifting requirements, forcing me to obtain, complete, notarize, and submit multiple sets of documents at substantial personal financial expenseexceeding {$500.00} in notary, printing, and faxing fees. Despite fully complying with every requirement instructed by the NFCU representatives, front-line tellers and supervisors have continually overridden previous instructions, creating an endless cycle of moving goalposts that has unlawfully deprived a XXXX veteran of access to his funds.…
I have a documented gambling addiction and previously requested that Navy Federal Credit Union permanently disable XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX ) on my account, disclosing the reason for the request. Navy Federal noted this on my account but did not implement any safeguard, verification step, or review process tied to it. On XX/XX/year>, I contacted Navy Federal and requested that OOPS be reinstated. The request was processed immediately, with no reference to my prior disclosure or restriction request, no additional verification, and no cooling-off period. Within days, I overdrew my account by {$500.00}, transferring the funds to a third-party payment app and then to an online gambling platform. I am not disputing that I authorized the transactions. My complaint is that Navy Federal held a documented disclosure of a gambling addiction and a related restriction request, and that disclosure had no functional effect when the exact situation it was meant to address occurred.…
On XX/XX/year> I prepaid a rental car reservation with XXXX in the amount of {$220.00}. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, no car was available. I called the company to request a refund, and a representative confirmed on a recorded call that no contract was ever in place for the rental. Since no vehicle was provided and no contractual agreement existed, the company has no legal basis to retain my payment. I disputed this charge with my bank, and the dispute was denied. I am requesting that this charge of {$220.00} be reversed and refunded to me, as I received no goods or services in exchange for this payment. I have a recording of the company representative confirming that no contract existed, which I can provide upon request.
On XX/XX/XXXX my bank made a adjustment dr for XXXX dollars out of my checking. This is va disability money. They said it's not protected because it doesn't say VA it says mobile deposit. XXXX charged my account {$230.00}. I booked the vehicle approximately XXXX hour before the scheduled pickup and traveled to the designated pickup location. I arrived expecting to receive the vehicle, but the reservation was canceled as I was there. I did not cancel the reservation, and the vehicle was never provided to me. I never received the keys, never entered or drove the vehicle, never completed a rental check-in, and never received any portion of the rental service. XXXX later cited an issue involving the drivers license information associated with my account. My previous license had expired on XX/XX/year>, but I had a current valid license.…

But I caught back up with the payment and still is trying to lower the balance. Every time I make a payment the increase the balance by {$29.00} which increases it and they gave done this XXXX times and I am concerned about this and their practice with lending. I'm not sure what else to do but consider filing legal actions against them.
I am opening this request because Navy Federal is refusing to open a Visa merchant dispute for 'Services Not Rendered ' transaction on my debit card. The amount is for {$29.00}. I authorized the payment in good faith for a service that was never provided. I called Navy federal twice to dispute the transaction but they refused to investigate the merchant or process the chargeback, unfairly leaving me responsible for a fraudulent merchant 's actions. I am planning to file a police report.
I am filing this complaint because your company continues to report a charged off account on my consumer credit reports after charging off and selling or transferring the alleged debt to a third-party debt buyer. I dispute the accuracy and completeness of the information being reported. I have disputed this account and requested that the information be investigated and verified. However, your company continues to report the account without providing documentation demonstrating that the information being furnished is complete, accurate, and supported by your records. If the debt has been sold or assigned, I request clarification regarding the ownership of the account and an explanation of how the information you are reporting remains accurate. I believe the continued reporting of inaccurate or unverifiable information is harming my credit. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, furnishers have a duty to conduct a reasonable investigation when a consumer disputes information.…
XXXX XXXX XXXX fraudulently executed withdrawls from my visa debit card for over XXXX months starting XX/XX/year>. This morning, Navy Federal Credit union approved a provisional credit for XXXX of those transactions, officially validating my claime that the merchant 's billing and business practices are fradulent, and is denying any additional credits beyond XXXX days stating they need not give an explanation beyond that, they are following XXXX XXXX ''. I asked for an exception under XXXX services not rendered/retailer fraud/deceptive practices, and NFCU refused to discuss and repeatedly told me they will not be investigating anything beyond the XXXX days. Under Federal Regulation E and visa core rules, the network explicitly mandates a manual exception window of up to XXXX calander days from the transaction date for ongoing fraud where the cosumer such as myself was misled.…
I am filing this complaint regarding Navy Federal Credit Unions handling of my auto loan refinance and the loss of my GAP insurance coverage. Approximately XXXX year before the refinance at issue, I refinanced the same vehicle through Navy Federal and was offered GAP insurance. I accepted that coverage because protecting this vehicle was important to me. Based on that prior experience, I had no reason to believe that refinancing my loan again would result in the loss of my GAP coverage without my knowledge. I later refinanced my vehicle through Navy Federal to remove a XXXX from my loan. At no point during the refinance process was I informed that refinancing would terminate my existing GAP coverage or that my new loan would not include GAP coverage. Had I been informed that refinancing would cause me to lose my GAP protection, I would not have completed the refinance.…
I dispute this Navy Federal account as inaccurate and unverified. Pursuant to the FCRA ( 15 U.S.C. 1681e ( b ), 1681i ( a ), and 1681s-2 ( b ) ), I Have requested its immediate deletion because it continues to harm my credit.
The dispute is that the merchant accepted XXXX-time digital deposits for an account-based service whose material redemption and payout component was not delivered as agreed. They challenge the denial because you received merchandise or a service does not establish that the complete service was delivered. Some initial game value or gameplay may have been available, but that does not prove the merchant completed the separately represented payout function. The legal argument is deliberately conditional : provisional credit is generally required when a qualifying Regulation E investigation can not be completed within XXXX business days, subject to specified exceptions. Navy Federal is therefore required to disclose the original notice date, the investigation-completion date, the claim classification, and its factual and legal basis for not issuing provisional credit.
I mis keyed my account number for a payroll deposit on XX/XX/year>. Navy Federal acknowledges the account name does not match my name but refuses to reverse the unauthorized enrichment of the wrong account holder without an XXXX I have talked to Navy Federal on numerous accounts over the last XXXX days given different information each time in which none of it matched. I am now forced to have my XXXX XXXX file an XXXX and charge me the {$150.00} to do so because of this. So Navy Federal should be receiving this XXXX today and I request that they return these funds immediately.
I am writing to file a complaint against Navy Federal Credit Union regarding multiple overdraft fees I have incurred. Despite having sufficient funds when the transactions were authorized, I was charged fees due to the lagged posting of charges and credits. This issue aligns with the recent CFPB findings against Navy Federal for similar practices, where transactions settled with insufficient balances despite initially available funds. I believe these practices are unfair and request an investigation into my account transactions.
On XX/XX/year>, I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX through XXXX for {$100.00} using my Navy Federal debit card. The item was advertised as New/Like New. When I picked up the item, it appeared to be in its original packaging with Styrofoam, protective plastic, and the instruction manual on top. XXXX has a pickup area where customers may briefly inspect merchandise before leaving. Because this was a large, heavy appliance, I confirmed that the correct item was in the box but did not completely remove it from the packaging or disassemble every compartment at the pickup counter. After arriving home and fully unpacking the item, I discovered extensive dirt, debris, staining, and obvious evidence of prior use that was inconsistent with the advertised New/Like New condition. I immediately documented the condition with photographs. I contacted XXXX, but they refused a refund based on their no refunds or exchanges after leaving the store policy.…
Hi, I have a checking account with Navy Federal Credit Union and I had agreed upon payment arrangements for vehicle loan on account and made a payment on XX/XX/year>. Navy Federal has unauthorized taken XXXX and some change out of my checking account to post to vehicle loan after I had already made a payment to the vehicle loan on file. I did not give them authorized permission to these funds. I am a single father with single income in my house to pay all financial obligations, which includes a mortgage. Supervisor said it was their policy to make sure vehicle loan does not Lapse 3 or more payments. I explained to her that there was a payment already made on account and agreed payment arrangements with their bank collection department. Their automated sweep system they run at night does not look at all for these payment arrangements on file. They just sweep and take clients money. This is not a standard practice, especially when I did not authorize it.
I allow an authorized user on my credit card with Navy Federal on my XXXX card. His name is XXXX XXXX XXXX. I had him previously on another card which he was removed due to he disputed something and blamed me for removing him. We go into the bank and mind you the bank has a XXXX count fraud indictment currently against this person. I go as a XXXX XXXX XXXX to try and assist him with building his credit and allow him to be an authorized user. Initially with access. During the time of entering him on the card the bank XXXX had asked XXXX about if he had any issues with a check XXXX replied no comment its under litigation well that didnt sit well with me. I few days or week or so I go back into the credit Union ask for the manager and wanted to thank the officer who asked some questions that made me feel XXXX and explained I froze the account to prevent him from charging any fees and wanted to thank the officer for asking those questions.…
I was credited funds for a purchase that could not be fulfilled, so I requested a refund. The company reversed the credit because I did not provide evidence, which I did provide when I started the dispute.
The attached PDF does not claim that no game-related service was ever provided. It acknowledges that some initial game value or gameplay may have been available. The narrower and stronger claim is that the complete account-based service included a material redemption and payout component, and that component was not delivered as agreed. The XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX account is expressly labeled Business chat. Its responses acknowledge that the payouts remained unresolved, state that the business would follow up with the bank, represent that the funds would remain safe, and later state that the funds would be credited. The accompanying records show XXXX unique redemption requests still marked In progress, totaling {$4300.00}, while a separate {$53.00} request appears as successful in the most recent screen. The letter requests only the {$1800.00} charged by Navy Federal. It does not ask Navy Federal to pay the larger {$4300.00} redemption balance.
