XXXX has failed to conduct a reasonable reinvestigation of the Online Information Services collection account. The furnishers own written notice to me stated a balance of {$200.00}, yet XXXX continues to report the account as XXXX #, which does not match the XXXX documentation and has never been validated. I sent a formal validation request to Online Information Services, and they did not provide an original contract, billing history, proof of service, or any documentation supporting the {$800.00} amount. Despite the lack of verification, XXXX marked the account as verified, which indicates they relied solely on an automated ACDV response rather than requiring actual evidence. Automated verification does not meet the Fair Credit Reporting Acts requirement for a reasonable reinvestigation under 15 U.S.C. 1681i. Both XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXave already removed this account after their reinvestigations, confirming that the furnisher could not validate the debt.…

I had an electric bill in my name in 2008. I moved and left my ex husband there. He left a bill. Over a year ago I went online to have the electric turning on at my grandmothers house after she, and later my uncle passed so we could start to fix up the house. I did this online. I was waiting for a turn on date, and when I never received one I called about it. Thats when I found out I had an old bill. My uncle prior to his death, ended up getting his electric turned off and tampered with this box to try and turn it back on. The lady said there would be a fee for that although anything my XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX did has nothing to do with me. She told me how to dispute it. After a review by her, she stated I would have to pay it. She said once the total amount reflected on my credit report, and trying to be collected by some credit company, was paid then the electric would be turned on. I didnt pay it.…

Yes, on XXXX XXXX. ONLINE INFORMATION SER ( XXXX XXXX ) put a collection debt of {$690.00}. On XXXX XXXX this same collection was already placed onto my credit. I did receive an email through XXXX that my account might have been affected by a security breach and when I checked this was the change I found.
This debt collector has engaged in conduct that violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ). They are reporting an account that I did not authorize, and no signed agreement exists bearing my signature to validate any obligation. A legally binding contract requires clear consent from all parties, which is absent in this case. Additionally, the collector has failed to provide proper validation of the alleged debt as required under the FDCPA. Without sufficient documentation verifying the debts legitimacy, their continued reporting and collection efforts are unlawful. These actions constitute violations of my consumer rights. As a result, I demand the immediate deletion of this account from all reporting agencies. Failure to comply may result in further legal action, including claims for damages.
I recently discovered that an account was opened using my Social Security number without my knowledge or authorization. I became aware of the issue only after reviewing my credit report and finding an account associated with an address in XXXX, South Carolina, where I have never lived and have no connection. I did not apply for, authorize, or benefit from this account. Upon discovering the account, I immediately began disputing the information and reporting the matter as identity theft. The fraudulent account has negatively affected my credit profile and caused me concern regarding the security of my personal information. I am requesting that the company investigate this matter, provide documentation showing how the account was opened, remove any fraudulent charges or negative reporting associated with the account, and correct all information being reported to the credit bureaus.…
I am not liable for this debt with OKLAHOMA XXXX XXXX XXXX. I do not have a contract with ONLINE INFORMATION SERVICES. They did not provide me with the original contract as I requested.
Help my rights are being violated, 15 U.S.C. 1692g ( b ) of the FDCPA requires debt collectors to cease collection activities and provide proper validation of the debt when requested in writing within 30 days of initial contact. The accounts Ive referenced are not 100 % accurate. Until you provide competent evidence that validates the debt including a signed agreement, full account history, and verification of your authority to collect, you must cease all collection efforts and remove the information from my credit report.
Im not sure who this debt collector is trying to get me to pay it off. Ive never signed up for this.
I am disputing a collection account being reported by Online Information Services on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$340.00} ( Account No. XXXX ). My current legal name is XXXX XXXX. My former name prior to marriage was XXXX XXXX. I do not recognize this debt and have concerns regarding the accuracy and ownership of the account. I have requested verification of this account, including the service address, dates of service, original application or service agreement, billing history, and documentation establishing that I am the responsible party. I am submitting this complaint regarding Online Information Services and a collection account in the amount of {$300.00} that is currently being reported on my consumer credit reports. I dispute the validity and accuracy of this account. Although the company is reporting this debt to consumer reporting agencies, I have not received sufficient documentation establishing that I am legally responsible for the alleged debt or that the balance being reported is accurate. The Fair Credit Reporting Act requires that information furnished to consumer reporting agencies be accurate and capable of verification. Additionally, consumers have the right to obtain information necessary to determine whether an alleged debt is valid and properly reported. Because this account is negatively affecting my credit profile, I believe the company should be able to provide documentation supporting the information being furnished.…
The information being reported by this collection agency is inaccurate and/or incomplete. I am requesting reinvestigation and deletion of unverifiable information.
I request validation of the alleged debt referenced in your recent communication, including the name of the original creditor, the total amount owed, documentation establishing my responsibility for the debt, and proof that your company is authorized to collect it.
A XXXX XXXX account was placed on my credit profile and later reported by a collection agency even though the information associated with the account does not belong to me. The address connected to this account has never been associated with me on any of my identification documents, credit reports, utility accounts, or personal records. After reviewing my credit information, I disputed the account and requested validation and documentation showing that the account belongs to me. I specifically requested records showing the service address, account application, agreement, and identifying information used to open the account. The information being reported does not match my identity or credit profile. This appears to be inaccurate reporting or a mixed credit file issue. I previously had a similar issue involving an incorrect address removed after verification confirmed the address was not associated with me. Despite this, this account continues to be reported.
II am disputing an account that appears on my credit report because it was opened without my knowledge, authorization, or consent. I have never lived at the service address associated with this account and did not establish service with the original creditor, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I notified the debt collector that this account is the result of identity theft or fraud. Despite my dispute, the account was reported and/or verified as accurate with the credit reporting agencies. When I requested supporting documentation proving I opened or authorized the account, the debt collector was unable to provide documentation bearing my signature or other evidence showing I am responsible for the debt. I am requesting that the company : Conduct a reasonable investigation of my dispute. Provide all documentation they relied upon to verify the account. Cease reporting inaccurate information. Remove the account from my credit reports if they can not prove I am responsible for the debt.…
