I am filing a complaint against several debt collection agencies for what appears to be ongoing violations of federal consumer protection laws. After formally disputing the alleged debts and requesting proper validation, the companies did not provide sufficient proof that I am legally responsible for these accounts. They failed to produce key documents such as original agreements, ownership records, account histories, or evidence of their authority to collect. Despite this, collection efforts and credit reporting activity may have continued without proper verification. This raises concerns about potential violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, including failure to validate debts and use of misleading or unfair practices, as well as the Fair Credit Reporting Act, particularly regarding the accuracy and investigation of reported information.

I am filing this complaint against TransUnion and XXXX XXXX XXXX for failure to validate a debt as required by the FCRA. Approximately XXXX months ago, I sent formal dispute letters to both XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX requesting full validation of this account, including the original signed contract and proof of debt. Neither company provided any of the requested documentation. More than 30 days ago, I sent a second round of letters to both companies, demanding they either provide the specific proof requested or delete the unverified account immediately. In response, TransUnion claimed the debt was 'verified ' but failed to provide any actual evidence, contracts, or documents to support this claim. I have never accepted this debt as mine, and despite my repeated requests, I have received XXXX proof of its legitimacy. The companies are in violation of the FCRA by continuing to report unverified information.

I am submitting a complaint regarding a rental debt that is currently being reported by a third-party collection agency. This account does not appear to be collected or reported directly by the original apartment community, but instead by a collection agency. I have concerns regarding the accuracy and completeness of the information being reported. Specifically, I am requesting verification of the full account details, including the original creditor, the total balance, and the authority of the collection agency to collect and report this debt. At this time, I have not received sufficient documentation validating the accuracy of this account or confirming that all reported information is complete and correct. I am requesting that this matter be investigated, and that any inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information be corrected or removed from my credit report in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

The documentation provided by the company contains multiple inconsistencies. The photos show only XXXX couch, yet I was charged for XXXX. The photos also show only XXXX trash bag, while I was charged for XXXX. Additionally, there is no itemized breakdown explaining how the charges were calculated. The company also failed to provide justification for full carpet replacement or evidence of damage beyond normal wear and tear. Due to these discrepancies and lack of proper validation, the debt remains inaccurate and unverified. I am requesting full deletion of this account from all credit bureaus.

I am disputing a debt being collected by Professional Debt Mediation related to a prior apartment lease. This debt is inaccurate, inflated, and not properly validated. The company is attempting to justify charges using photographs that were taken during my tenancy, not after I moved out. These images do not reflect the condition of the unit at move-out and can not be used to support post-tenancy damage claims. Presenting in-tenancy photos as move-out evidence is misleading and does not establish liability. There are also clear inconsistencies in the charges : The move-out statement lists a {$200.00} charge for wall/crayon markings, yet the only invoice provided is for {$970.00} for painting services. This invoice does not match the amount charged and appears to be a general or full repaint, not a charge specific to my unit or actual damage.

This account, with a reported balance of {$330.00}, is currently listed on my credit reports with XXXX XXXX and XXXX and is negatively impacting my credit scores, which are currently XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX, respectively. I have consistently maintained that this debt is not mine. I have no knowledge of any account that would result in this collection attempt. I have taken several steps to resolve this issue, including filing disputes on three separate occasions : XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/year>. Each time, the dispute was returned with an automated response stating that the details were verified as accurate. However, I have not received any substantial evidence from PROFESSIONAL DEBT ME proving that this debt is mine or any original documentation that ties me to this account.

On XX/XX/year>, I sent a certified debt validation request asking the company to provide documentation verifying the alleged debt. The letter was successfully delivered according to XXXX tracking. In my request, I asked for verification of the debt, including documentation showing that I am responsible for the debt and proof that the company has the authority to collect it. I am disputing the alleged rental debt of {$3400.00} reported by Professional Debt Mediation. Several months after moving out of my previous apartment, I was contacted by phone regarding this balance. During that call, I expressed my willingness to resolve any legitimate charges, but I requested a formal debt validation and a detailed, itemized move-out statement explaining the origin of these charges. To this date, the company has failed to provide any written documentation, a copy of the original lease agreement, or an itemized breakdown of the alleged damages/fees as required by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ). They are reporting a significant balance on my credit report without providing the necessary proof of debt. I am requesting a full investigation.

I also didnt receive my security deposit back when they had a legal obligation to keep that apartment habitable and didnt hold up their agreement.

I am disputing a debt being collected by Professional Debt Mediation related to a residential lease. Although I signed a lease agreement, I never took possession of the apartment and was never provided keys to the unit. Because possession of the unit was never delivered, the lease was never executed in practice. Despite this, the landlord later claimed I owed rent and sent the account to collections. The unit was subsequently re-leased to a new tenant starting XX/XX/scrub>XXXX The collection agency has only provided a lease agreement and a ledger as validation. These documents do not demonstrate that I ever took possession of the property or that the charges are legally owed. Additionally, the collection agency contacted my workplace in an attempt to reach me, which raises concerns regarding improper communication under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
