Checking or savings account· Managing an accountFL

I am a XXXX customer of Regions Bank. On XX/XX/year>, I opened a promotional XXXX XXXX Account online following a marketing flyer sent by the bank. Regions automated system completed onboarding and accepted a {$15000.00} deposit from my XXXX XXXX account. A Regions XXXX XXXX confirmed that the {$15000.00} arrived to Regions from XXXX XXXX. However, due to an internal system architecture flaw, Regions ' back-end fraud engine silently executed a total relationship freeze on all my accounts on estimated to have occurred on XXXX XXXX locking my established XXXX checking account without prior notice, answered phone call, or email warning. They did try to call XXXX time and I did not answer. I have no voicemail setup. Regions Bank then rejected the {$15000.00} deposit on XX/XX/year>, and claims to have initiated an ACH return to XXXX XXXX under Trace Numbers provided by the branch.

I created a bank account with Regions bank 4 days ago. I had my full direct deposit set up and due to me not having a card yet I simply transferred my money to another bank account that I have using XXXX so I can still pay my bills and the money I sent was less than {$500.00}. I received no alerts, texts, emails or any communication regarding the hold on my account at all and the only reason I found out was because I needed to transfer the money for my rent which is due XX/XX/year>. When I called they told me they couldnt provide details and I need to go to a branch so on Saturday XXXX XXXX I went to the only branch that was open and they proceeded to say they couldnt tell me why my account is on hold, its a corporate hold, and the most they can do is send a ticket. They never explained why my account is on hold, I was never contacted, I never received an update on anything regarding my account.

I am submitting this complaint regarding Regions Bank 's handling of my account closure, disclosure of my private banking information, and continued withholding of my account funds. Regions Bank informed me that my account was being closed allegedly due to unresolved issues with XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was then informed that my remaining balance would not be released for approximately XXXX weeks by mailed check. In connection with this closure, an internal email was distributed to numerous employees that included. my full name, my full bank account number, account closure details, and statements regarding alleged unresolved issues with Early Warning Services. I am concerned that this disclosure exceeded any legitimate business necessity and improperly exposed my nonpublic personal financial information to individuals who may not have been authorized to receive it.

I opened student/minor checking accounts for my XXXX XXXX XXXX at Regions Bank . Regions Bank converted the accounts to fee-bearing accounts without my authorization on two separate occasions. During the first incident, account ending in 9976 was charged {$56.00} in unauthorized fees. Regions only refunded {$16.00}, leaving {$40.00} unresolved. I visited the branch in person to correct the account type. Regions then converted both accounts again without authorization. Account XXXX and account XXXX were each charged {$24.00} in unauthorized fees during the second incident. Regions refunded {$16.00} on account XXXX and refused to refund anything on account XXXX, citing prior refunds. The branch manager stated it was my responsibility to monitor statements, which does not address the fact that Regions changed the account types without my consent. Total outstanding : {$88.00}. Ticket numbers XXXX and XXXX were submitted on XX/XX/year> to correct the account types.

On XX/XX/year>, I attempted to withdraw {$800.00} from a Regions Bank XXXX. The XXXX malfunctioned, did not dispense any cash, did not provide a receipt, and displayed an error message. A second attempt also failed. Under no circumstances was any cash received. Despite this, {$800.00} was debited from my account. I disputed the transaction with Regions Bank. On XX/XX/year>, Regions denied the dispute, stating that the XXXX reconciliation showed the XXXX was in balance at the end of the day and therefore concluded no XXXX error occurred. I requested that Regions reopen or escalate the claim and conduct a reasonable investigation, including review of XXXX XXXX and error logs, transaction-level records, and camera footage. Regions responded in writing that the claim can not be escalated and will not be reopened without new information, and that reliance on end-of-day XXXX balancing was the basis for the denial.

Checking or savings account· Opening an accountGA

I am submitting this statement to dispute an account that was opened without my knowledge or authorization. On XX/XX/year>, a Regions Bank checking account fraud entry was reported under my name. There is no known account balance or amount associated with this account, and I do not recognize or accept this account as valid. After discovering this issue, I took immediate action to resolve it. I attempted to dispute the account through XXXX XXXX XXXX, but the dispute was not successfully resolved. I also contacted and spoke directly with a Regions Bank branch in an effort to address and correct the fraudulent account. Despite these actions, the account remains on my record. I am formally requesting that this account be thoroughly investigated and removed from my credit and reporting files, as it was opened without my consent and is the result of unauthorized use of my identity.

I am requesting an executive review of how my recent XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX distribution was handled. I went to my local XXXXXXXX XXXX Regions branch to cash a XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX distribution check for approximately {$3300.00}. I explained that I needed the money and wanted to cash the check. The teller told me they could not cash it and that my only option was to deposit it into my existing Regions checking account. I was specifically told to return the next morning and the funds would be available to withdraw. At no point was I informed that depositing the check into my Regions account could result in the funds being applied to my delinquent Regions credit card through the banks right of setoff. Had I been given that information, I would never have deposited the check and would have found another way to access my money. When I returned the next day, I was told only that collections took the money.

Payday loan, title loan, personal loan, or advance loan· Problem with the payoff process at the end of the loanTX

I have been the victim of a predatory loan practice that Regions Bank and a subsidiary, EnerBank, were a party to. On XX/XX/year>, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Ageint Security provided misleading information and encouraged me to go into a contract with them. The contract stated that if I, a first responder, were to take out a loan in my name for the amount of {$24000.00} and post on social media two times a month for five years, that at the end of the five years, XXXX XXXX would cover the loan in full. I have upheld the obligations of my contract for 4 years and 8 months and now that my contract is near completion, XXXX XXXX has informed me that they are suspending the payments on my loan and filing chapter 11 bankruptcy. I believe there are clear facts that indicate that Regions Bank XXXX EnerBank were complicit in the predatory loan practices that XXXX XXXX was carrying out for the financial institutions.

Checking or savings account· Managing an accountAR

I am filing this complaint against Regions Bank and Regions Financial Corporation because of ongoing and unexplained discrepancies involving my checking account and the banks failure to adequately investigate my concerns. Beginning around XX/XX/year>, I noticed that my account balance appeared to be decreasing by more than my actual spending. I repeatedly observed transactions showing as pending and later posting, but when certain transactions posted, my available balance appeared to decrease by more than the amount of the transaction itself. I can not reconcile these reductions, and I believe there are unexplained balance discrepancies that require investigation. On or about XX/XX/year>, I reported these concerns to Regions Bank and was informed that a claim had been opened. Since then, I have repeatedly contacted the bank seeking updates and an explanation, but I have not received a satisfactory response or evidence that my account has been thoroughly reviewed.

I am a customer of Regions Bank. I have cleared my account balance to {$0.00} and am trying to permanently close my XXXX Checking account ( ending in XXXX XXXX ). Because I do not speak English fluently, I called the official customer service line ( XXXX ) multiple times to request account closure using their language interpretation services. Today alone, I called 4 separate times and spent over 10 minutes on hold during each attempt. Every single time the third-party Chinese interpreter connected and informed the bank representative of my request to close my zero-balance checking account, the bank 's representatives purposefully disconnected, hung up the phone, or went completely silent. This intentional refusal to provide service to non-English speaking customers is unacceptable.

XX/XX/XXXX I had to overdraft my account due to personal reasons and I made a XXXX order at XXXX and it came out in several different transactions but they were all on the same days so instead of those transactions causing overdrafts that day they decided to hold the transactions and claim that XXXX took them out later resulting in 3 days worth of overdrafts. Their excuse was the transactions are charged based on when finalized and not the transaction date which they actually changed all three dates from the XXXX tothe XXXX, XXXX and the XXXX when they were all made the same exact day and time My card was locked in XXXX and overdrafted and they allowed XXXX {$1.00} transactions to come out a day after the transactions were actually made and claimed it was because they allow or can't stop fees from coming out if I give permission. My financial institution allowed a massive, unauthorized {$45000.00} ACH clawback by XXXX that has plunged my personal account into a negative {$20000.00} deficit. The branch manager has refused to provide the legally mandated 15-digit ACH Trace Number or Return Code for this transaction, is refusing to halt pending transactions, and is actively threatening to penalize me with predatory overdraft fees for an error caused entirely by a third party. I am filing this complaint because Regions Bank has repeatedly refused to honor my rights under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act ( SCRA ). Despite submitting valid military orders and documentation, Regions Bank has denied my SCRA interestrate reduction request three times, without providing a lawful basis for denial. Because I am stationed in Louisiana and my home is located in Louisiana, the states statutory adoption of SCRA further strengthens my protections. Louisiana law explicitly incorporates the SCRA and provides retroactive and prospective enforcement authority. Louisiana Revised Statutes 29:422 states : Louisiana adopts the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act ( 50 U.S.C. 3901 et seq. ) and makes all SCRA protections fully enforceable within the state. THIS IS NOT A DUPLICATE SUBMISSION! Regions is withholding evidence/document spoofing ( XXXX XXXX ( d ) ( XXXX ) : The bank explicitly broke the law by sending back only the documents that I provided. Under the law, the bank is strictly required to provide the actual document they relied upon to make a determination. If they do not possess it, they can not legally use it as a basis for denial. I completed similar transactions through the same source, yet they appeared differently in my account. XXXX transaction affected my balance but was not visible in the same manner as another comparable transaction. I contacted Regions Bank and requested an explanation. I am submitting a formal complaint regarding a promotional bonus denial by Regions Bank related to a new checking account opened on XX/XX/year>. I opened the account in good faith with the intention of participating in an advertised promotional offer. On XX/XX/year>, I enrolled in the promotion associated with the account. I was later informed that eligibility required enrollment prior to account opening, resulting in denial of the promotional bonus. I understand the stated policy requirement. However, I am requesting review of this matter due to the circumstances involved, including the very short time between account opening and enrollment ( two days ) and my clear intent to participate in the promotion at the time the account was opened. Additionally, I am a returning customer, and the promotional structure and timing created reasonable confusion regarding enrollment sequencing and eligibility interpretation.

This debt collector has engaged in conduct that violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ). They are reporting an account that I did not authorize, and no signed agreement exists bearing my signature to validate any obligation. A legally binding contract requires clear consent from all parties, which is absent in this case. Additionally, the collector has failed to provide proper validation of the alleged debt as required under the FDCPA. Without sufficient documentation verifying the debts legitimacy, their continued reporting and collection efforts are unlawful. These actions constitute violations of my consumer rights. Subject : Formal Complaint Against Regions Bank for Improper Overdraft Fees and Failure to Process Stop ACH Request I am filing this complaint regarding ongoing issues with Regions Bank related to improper overdraft fees, inconsistent dispute handling, and failure to honor a stop ACH payment request on my checking account. Over the course of several transactions, Regions Bank assessed overdraft fees on charges that were originally authorized while my account maintained a positive available balance. These transactions did not settle until several days later, at which point the account balance had changed and overdraft fees were subsequently charged.
