Hello, I received a check from TransUnion XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX c/o XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX of 2025, never paid it any attention until I was about to tear it up a few days ago. I tried the information on the check, but had to end up calling the bank the check is written on ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ). They gave me their administrator 's name, which was a recording with the prompts as to what to do ( XXXX ) XXXX. I also emailed them, XXXX. Their response was : " Unfortunately, we are no longer able to honor or reissue this payment. Funds from uncashed checks were turned over to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, a part of the federal government, as it is required by the Consent Order. '' Below is the information from the check from TransUnion XXXX XXXX Administrator. This is my 4th attempt to get this resolved. My name is XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, PA XXXX.

I am filing this complaint regarding inaccurate and unverifiable late payment information being reported on my credit reports by Equifax , Experian, and TransUnion. The account listed below contains inconsistent reporting between the credit bureaus, including conflicting account history details such as Last Activity Date, Date of Last Payment, Last Reported Date, account classification, and account rating. Although the account is reported as closed with a XXXX balance, the bureaus continue to report a XXXX late payment that has not been accurately verified. I am requesting that all inaccurate late payment information be fully investigated under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and that any information that can not be verified as accurate and complete be corrected or deleted.

I am submitting this complaint because TransUnion continues to report a collection account that should have been removed from my credit report. I paid the T-Mobile balance of {$360.00} in full. XXXX XXXX XXXX sent me a letter dated XX/XX/year>, confirming that the account has a {$0.00} balance. I also contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX by telephone, and their representative informed me that XXXX XXXX XXXX submitted a deletion request to TransUnion on XX/XX/year>, requesting that this collection account be removed from my TransUnion credit report. Despite receiving this deletion request, TransUnion has failed to update my credit file and continues to report the collection account, which is inaccurate and is causing ongoing harm to my credit profile. I have attached the letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX confirming the account has been paid in full and has a XXXX balance.

XX/XX/XXXX the small loan from XXXX of XXXX showing o balance and a late payment it was paid in full with on time payments.since XXXX .rhe account was closed in good standards .but never received for all those months a letter for XXXX st. I submitted a formal request to TransUnion to correct my personal identifying information, but inaccurate information continues to appear in my credit file. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( 15 U.S.C. 1681e ( b ) and 1681i ), TransUnion is required to maintain maximum possible accuracy and conduct a reasonable reinvestigation of disputed personal information. The continued reporting of incorrect names, aliases, addresses, or other personal identifiers increases my risk of identity theft and compromises the accuracy of my credit file. I respectfully request that the CFPB require TransUnion to remove all inaccurate personal information, update my file so that it reflects only my verified identifying information, provide me with an updated copy of my credit report, and ensure full compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

The Fair Credit Reporting Act ( " FCRA '' ) was enacted to ensure fairness, accuracy, and privacy in consumer reporting. Under FCRA 607 ( b ), 15 U.S.C. 1681e ( b ), consumer reporting agencies are required to follow reasonable procedures to assure maximum possible accuracy of information reported. Additionally, under FCRA 611, 15 U.S.C. 1681i, the credit bureaus are required to conduct a reasonable reinvestigation of disputed accounts and delete or correct any information that can not be properly verified. Pursuant to information I am also prohibited under FCRA 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), from reporting information they know or should know is inaccurate.
