I am filing a follow-up complaint against Vance & Huffman LLC regarding its continued credit reporting and collection activity on an alleged XXXX account. This is not a duplicate of my prior complaint. This complaint concerns new facts that occurred after Vance & Huffman responded to my previous CFPB complaint. In its XX/XX/year> response to my CFPB complaint, Vance & Huffman stated that it was temporarily deleting the tradeline as a precautionary measure while requesting additional payment history from the original creditor. Despite that representation, as of XX/XX/year>, the tradeline remains reporting on my XXXX and XXXX credit reports under Vance & Huffman. I dispute this continued reporting. Vance & Huffman represented to the CFPB that deletion was being performed while it sought additional documentation. The account remaining on my credit reports is inconsistent with the companys stated corrective action and continues to cause harm to my credit profile.…

My attached letter outlines the documents required to lawfully validate the alleged debt, including the original signed agreement, proof of ownership or assignment, the purchase or transfer agreement, and a complete accounting of the balance. I disputed the balance and requested : A full itemized accounting of the debt A breakdown of fees, interest, and charges Validation of the balance being claimed Documentation showing the legal authority to collect the debt In response, the company stated in writing that there was no accounting history because I did not make payments directly to the original creditor after receiving the loan funds. I am filing a complaint against several debt collection agencies for what appears to be ongoing and deeply concerning violations of federal consumer protection laws. After formally disputing these alleged debts and requesting proper validation, I was left frustrated and discouraged when the companies failed to provide any meaningful proof that I am legally responsible for these accounts. They did not produce basic, essential documents such as original agreements, records of ownership, complete account histories, or any clear evidence of their authority to collect. Despite my repeated efforts to resolve this matter, collection attempts and credit reporting activity appear to have continued without proper verification. This has caused significant stress and uncertainty, as I am being held accountable for debts that have not been substantiated. It is both alarming and unfair to face ongoing financial and reputational harm without clear and lawful justification.…

I am filing a complaint against Vance & Huffman LLC regarding an alleged debt they are reporting and attempting to collect. I requested validation of this debt. The company initially failed to provide documentation and directed me to an online portal where no supporting documents were available. After follow-up, they provided a lease agreement and a payment history. However, the information provided does not properly validate the debt or the balance being reported. The payment history shows multiple reversed payments, repeated fee assessments, and inconsistent adjustments. Payments appear to be applied, reversed, and followed by additional fees, making the current reported balance of {$1200.00} unclear and unreliable. The company has not provided a clear, itemized calculation showing how this balance was determined, nor have they adequately explained the repeated fees and reversals. Additionally, this account is not reporting consistently across all credit bureaus.…

I am formally disputing a collection account that has appeared on my credit report which I do not recognize and have no knowledge of. I have never incurred or authorized this debt, and it remains unverified. In addition, I have been subjected to repeated and aggressive collection attempts through various channels, including threats of legal action. This situation is both distressing and unacceptable, as it reflects inaccurate information on my credit report and violates my rights as a consumer.
I am filing a complaint against several debt collection agencies for what appears to be ongoing violations of federal consumer protection laws. After formally disputing the alleged debts and requesting proper validation, the companies did not provide sufficient proof that I am legally responsible for these accounts. They failed to produce key documents such as original agreements, ownership records, account histories, or evidence of their authority to collect. I requested validation of a debt being reported and collected by Vance and Huffman related to a XXXX XXXX loan. While a promissory note was provided, the company failed to provide a full itemized breakdown of the balance being reported. The original loan amount was {$1.00}, yet the current balance is reported as {$1500.00}. No detailed accounting has been provided showing how this balance was calculated, including payment made, fees applied, and interest charges. Additionally, the account is being reported inaccurately, as the original creditor listed does not match the entities referenced in the contract, creating inconsistency in reporting. Because of the lack of proper itemization and inconsistent reporting, the balance is inaccurate and uverifiable.
Please see attached leged debt. Failing that, the items must be deleted from the report as soon as possible.
