I requested documentation showing that the debt is valid, including the date the debt was allegedly incurred, the original creditor, a copy of any contract or agreement creating the debt, and proof that the company owns or has the legal right to collect the debt. The company stated that the account is closed, they do not have the debt, they never purchased the debt, and they do not have a contract or supporting documentation.
I dispute the accuracy and completeness of this Waypoint Resource Group collection account. Please verify the original creditor information, balance, date of first delinquency, payment history, and your authority to report this account. If the information can not be verified as accurate and complete, I request that it be deleted from my credit file. If the account is verified, I respectfully request that Waypoint Resource Group and the original creditor consider a goodwill or courtesy deletion. I experienced financial hardship that contributed to this account becoming delinquent and have worked diligently to restore my financial stability. I would sincerely appreciate consideration of removing the negative reporting as a gesture of goodwill.

Waypoint is a debt collector that was attempting to collect a debt on behalf of XXXX. They reported this debt to my credit report, negatively impacting it. This is after never validating the debt as I had requested them to. Regardless, I went to the original creditor directly, and paid them months ago. I did not negotiate a lower amount or a deal, I paid the entire balance in full directly to the original creditor in exchange for them withdrawing the debt from Waypoint in order to terminate their collection authority and delete this from my credit report. However, Waypoint has not only refused to cooperate and delete this debt from the report, they are also XXXX ) falsely still reporting it as a valid debt to them, which is completely wrong and XXXX ) they marked the debt collection as settled for less than original amount which is flat out false and incorrect. They have ignored or refused multiple attempts to resolve this directly.…

XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, I have worked hard to rebuild my life and restore my credit. While reviewing my credit report, I discovered a collection account reported by Waypoint Resource Group that I do not recognize. The account is reported as WAYPOINT Account XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX with a balance of {$220.00} and was last updated on XX/XX/XXXX. I do not believe this account belongs to me. I have no knowledge of this debt, never entered into an agreement that would result in this collection account, and do not recall receiving any notice explaining the origin of this debt. I respectfully request that Waypoint Resource Group investigate this account and verify that it belongs to me. If the company can not provide sufficient documentation showing that I am legally responsible for this debt, I request that the account be removed from my credit reports.
I do not believe I owe this debt, and I have no knowledge of entering into any contract or agreement with your company. I saw waypoint resource group on my credit score for XXXX dollars, I did not know what it was for. I proceeded to call them with the information provided on their website to ask where the original debt was owed and if they could provide me written information to prove this debt was in fact mine. The man I talked to said he can not give me that information without me paying a {$1.00} fee. I told him I just need to know where the original debt was from he then again told me he can not provide that to me without charging me a {$1.00} fee and there was nothing more he could do for me. I told him thats not legal and he told me hes been working for this company for 7 years and they have been doing that for 7 years. I asked to speak to a supervisor he told me none were available. I asked if he could have a supervisor call me back he told me that he can try if they have time.…
I disputed this account with the credit reporting agencies because I questioned the accuracy of the information being reported. Despite the dispute, the account was verified without the debt collector providing me with documentation sufficient to establish that i am legally responsible for the debt or that the information being reported is accurate. I requested reasonable investigation and supporting documentation, but I have not received records that substantiate the reporting. I am requesting that the debt collector either provide documentation supporting the debt and its reporting or correct or remove any information that can not be verified.
XXXXaypoint Resource Group I am filing this complaint regarding a {$190.00} collection account being reported by Waypoint Resource Group on my XXXX credit report. I dispute a {$190.00} telecommunications collection account reported by Waypoint Resource Group ( account ending in XXXX ) related to XXXX XXXX. I contacted Waypoint Resource Group and spoke with a supervisor named XXXX. I was informed that the account had been returned to XXXX XXXX and was no longer being handled, owned, or serviced by Waypoint. Despite this, Waypoint continues to report the collection account on my credit file. Waypoint representatives were unable to provide me with complete account information and advised that additional internal departments, including their credit reporting department, would need to review the matter. If Waypoint no longer owns or services this account, it should not continue furnishing this information to the credit bureaus.…

Despite my lawful demand made pursuant to 15 U.S.C. 1692g of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), your agency has failed to provide adequate legal validation of the alleged debt. Instead, you responded with a generic summary of charges or statement balance, which does not satisfy the federal requirements for debt validation. Your failure to provide the following constitutes noncompliance : 1. A copy of the original signed contract or agreement bearing my signature ; 2. A full chain of title including all assignments and transfers of the alleged debt ; 3.…
I dispute the accuracy and legal enforceability of the account that Waypoint Resource Group LLC is reporting on my personal consumer credit reports. I believe this account originated from a Spectrum business account rather than a personal consumer account. Despite this, Waypoint is reporting the account as an Individual Account on my consumer credit reports. I requested validation of this alleged debt and documentation establishing that I am personally liable. Specifically, I requested documentation showing that I personally entered into the agreement, any signed application or personal guaranty, the complete billing history, an itemized accounting of the balance, and documentation establishing Waypoints authority to collect this debt. To date, Waypoint has continued furnishing information to the consumer reporting agencies without providing documentation establishing my personal liability for this alleged obligation.…

Waypoint Resource Group has contacted me repeatedly through automated calls and automated text messages. These contacts came from multiple rotating phone numbers between XX/XX/year> and XX/XX/year>, as shown in my call log. The calls and texts continued even after I sent a clear STOP request. I attempted to send a written demand and debt validation request to several Waypoint compliance email addresses on XX/XX/year>, but every email bounced. Because all of their compliance inboxes reject messages, I have been unable to exercise my rights to request validation or communicate in writing. Waypoint has not provided any debt validation, has continued contacting me after I revoked consent, and has used automated systems and rotating numbers to reach me. The combination of repeated calls, automated texts, STOP violations, and blocked email channels has created a pattern of harassment and noncompliance.…
I am disputing these collection accounts because the same {$90.00} debt is being reported by multiple debt collectors. This appears to be duplicate reporting of a single debt, which is causing inaccurate and misleading information on my credit report. Please investigate and verify which company has the legal right to collect and report this debt. If the debt has been transferred or sold, any collector that no longer owns the debt should remove its reporting. I request that any duplicate, inaccurate, or unverifiable reporting be deleted from my credit file.
